- In Detroit Mi car appraiser Jason Phillips of Auto Appraise Inc conducted a pre-purchase inspection and loan appraisal for LOC Federal Credit Union. The snow kept him from taking this car for a test drive, but many mechanical observations were revealed in the parking lot.
This car has a solid AZ dry body and other than a nice repaint has not been restored.

My first car... 15 years old and paid 1, 200.00 for it in 1972. It actually had a factory 8 track in it, and would crouse at 120 mph. Sure wished I still had it!

The Imperial Coupes had that same feature in 1967 and 1968, not sure about the earlier Imperials.

That's a nice car I like the white with the blue green interior I bet the windshield is leaking that's why it's rusting on the dash and it looks like it was wet on the passenger side floor or stain from it being wet before but still a great car

I'VE SEEN ONE ALMOST BOUGHT IT FOR 2,900$ BUT MAN DO THESE CARS HAVE ROOM YOU CAN SEAT 4 NORMAL PEOPLE IN BACK COMFORTABLY AND 3 OR 4 MORE UP FRONT. AND THE TRUNK IS "HUGE"!

@@smoothoperator7023 You are right, i knew of their existence a few days ago and recalled this comment of mine. I believe the purpose is to demonstrate that there is no bondo on the critical parts of the body.

It troubles me that the valve covers are painted gold. I had a ‘66 Toronado in the mid-‘70s, and had occasion to replace the valve cover gaskets. It strikes me that the valve covers were painted the same color as the air cleaner. I don’t think this engine is original to this car.

@@FJB8646 yeah i wouldnt say this is a donor car lol. It just needs some slight attention to some bits that have minor rust on them and some wear items such as weather strips need replaced.
Donor car? What would you donate? Overhaul the engine, some touch up work on the interior and replace gaskets and it's a finished car? The rare parts you'd want on a Donor car aren't good to donate to anyother Toronado.
I would be embarrassed to try to sell that thing to anyone.
with so many things operationally wrong, and some would not even pass inspection. needs to be addressed BEFORE listing.
@@gaetanodisilvestro Some people would definitely buy this at the right price and fix the things it needs and flip it......you don't have to fix the car before you sell it........it's called dealing......all types of deals out there. If you want a perfect car, then spend 45grand for one......but if you want a Toronado and a 1966, they this would be a nice car at a low price...and fix er up.
