Support vocal for local. New generation Tata motors vehicles are ahead of its competitors.. that's my personal experience. Not saying that competitors are bas. But these are best as well.
I’m in complete awe with Tata’s new design philosophy right from Nexon to Harrier to Altroz. It’s unbelievable. Harrier had us a hope of finally a premium feel from an Indian make. And Altroz take this legacy even further. Though, I’m still completely swooned over Harrier. I just wish they had equipped Harrier more optimistically like 4X4, AT, Sunroof (both of which are confirmed to me coming in the next update) and few bits on the interior like powered and ventilated seats. Tata could have definitely positioned Harrier right next to premium crossovers like CR-V and Tucson by throwing in a more powerful engine, features and comfort creatures. Why did Tata miss that opportunity?
Himanshu Singh : Well, Sunroof, AT and a tuned up engine are definitely on the cards with XZ+, but 4X4 is not even on the grapevine. Perhaps, they might as well throw in more creature comforts like powered and ventilated seats (meh!!) if they TRUELY are on a venture to give real updates, but it’s unlikely. Fingers still crossed. But right off the bat, I so wished Tata to place harrier right next to premium crossovers which meant they needed a complete makeover of Harrier over what they offer now (sans the aesthetics). A little disappointed. Altroz too look another promising product but the feedback from most auto journalists are not as optimistic as it was hyped. Don’t know what the future holds. Perhaps, Tata might have reserved a Pandora’s box for us when it’s finally launched. Fingers again crossed 🤞🏻 (with all the fingers crossed, it’s only thumb that is left to crossed, lol 😂)
@@LuvvSURYA yup but there are no buyers for 4×4 except on the internet which are not real buyers. Tata is coming with harrier xz+, harrier petrol 1.6 150bhp auto, 2L 170bhp manual and auto, 6 seater harrier and 7 seater gravitas and many more updates. I own harrier xt
@@LuvvSURYA these journalists are maruti paid. Just watch wagon r and spresso review. Altroz is a promising product with decent petrol and impressive diesel engine. It's going to be a hit for sure. Watch motoroctane's review
Himanshu Singh : Well, since I wished/expected Tata to compete Harrier in the premium crossover space where the numbers are not really THAT important, meant they HAD to throw in 4X4, AT (at least a CVT instead of a conventional AMT) and a much powerful engine unless Tata wanted the product to catch the numbers - which eventually turn out to be the case and hence the pricing (not that I’m bellyaching about the pricing in the segment where it’s placed now) and the feature cuts. It makes sense for Tata to equip and price Harrier with what they had in their mind as to where they would place Harrier. And they did a marvelous job. It’s just that Harrier turn out to be much flamboyant product and too good to be in the segment where it’s currently placed in. Only if I had the choice, I would have liked to see engine and equipment levels from Land Rovers thrown in Harrier. It’s that good of a product, lol. Pipe dream.
Tata should give autobox in the diesel sir I think i20 is coming with cvt not the torque converter if I am correct sorry if I am wrong they are talking about premium there is no stand out features they should given something special because with i20 launch on the cards that will blow away competition with features and with the transmission they will come with all guns blazing Tata should give autobox to both the engine otherwise it will find it difficult to give a good fight .. Thanks SVP giving neutral prospective about the car.
Thank you for the very detailed review. I have a question for you sir. TATA unveiled Altroz on Dec 3rd 2019 and they are launching on Jan 22nd 2020 what they are doing for more than a month. Is it something like they are hearing feedback of people like you and what ever they can fix before the launch, they fix those. Please try to get this information. As am planning to buy this car
@Interceptor Cop ok. But many of the reviewers are saying petrol performance is not upto the mark. Shouldn't we wait untill its launch to try it by ourself and then book the car. I am also waiting for the launch.
@Interceptor Cop you still going with unrefined petrol engine. Will it be reliable for long term? I am also confuse between Altroz and Hyundai Aura, but priority is Altroz.
You should not judge the big company decisions of this that engine and all, you should only review. They surely have more sense than you. That's a big company
There are not many car launches these days why don't you get full information about the cars before review If you are not interested anymore just retire.
Jo bhi idhar reviewer ko Gali bak Raha Hain just go and get a test drive for altroz it's a good car. Log bakwas jar rahe Hain Karne do. Tata ko kya farak pasta Hain
It's time for diesel and petrol consumer vehicles to phase out and EVs to come in. Oh I forgot. We don't have dependable electrical supply and infrastructure will take 20 years.
The cabin should be compared with peers. I Being such a reputed channel the views on this channel are so less and the reason is the biased reviews. Compare apples to apples.
DSG is pathetic when it comes to reliability..... Turns the car into a complete dummy when it fails..... Hence after 3 years or so it can act as a time bomb...... Requires hell lot of maintenance

Support vocal for local. New generation Tata motors vehicles are ahead of its competitors.. that's my personal experience. Not saying that competitors are bas. But these are best as well.
Proud to be TATA car owner.
Excellent review Sid! Unbiased and detailed
Hello Sid i20 has CVT too not torque convertor.
Good to see Imtiaz Ali reviewing Cars! Cheers!
haha
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is....So funny man🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why would you not like the turbo whine...
Because he is an old gay
They are coming with xz+ variant
Fingers again crossed 🤞🏻
(with all the fingers crossed, it’s only thumb that is left to crossed, lol 😂)
Me too planning
@Interceptor Cop petrol or diesel?
Great review. But way too many ads.
Everyone will buy it now. I knw dis.. My intention r always good
ur intentions are as bad as the Pakistan anti-terrorism squad
I dont understand why most of the reviews raise issue when reviewing a TATA car which is there in many competiter like wind noise stuff etc
My height is 5 feet..is this car suitable for me?
Yes
I think tata should patner fiat for engines exept hexa
Its true that tata still not ready to change its front designs.
How is steering feel compared to say the Tiago?
You should not judge the big company decisions of this that engine and all, you should only review. They surely have more sense than you. That's a big company
Price please on road
Nice design overall, except for the awkwardly placed smaller lamps in front.
12:49 i20 has CVT not torque converter
There are not many car launches these days why don't you get full information about the cars before review
If you are not interested anymore just retire.
Very sad review... Very biased and very sad and he wants 200Hp engine in the car... Altroz is on par with competition in power... Very sad reviewer...
How is the NVH inside cabin of petrol?
Really appreciate the pack offer by tata
Good TaTa
Nice background music.
Looks like petrol engine doesn't have that punch, that shows on his face while driving...
Excellent review!!!
Excellent, Honest ,Detailed Review..
Practice the Truth
Side profile reminds me of first Honda Jazz in india
What is turbo lag..?
Fiat source bs4 1.3 diesel is better?tata source retorque bs6 diesel is better please tell me
Fiat will shut down in India
@@shishirtheskaters7215 i will known that matter asking performance of engine
Tata has to introduce more powerful petrol engines like 4 cylinder 1.6 litre if they are really serious.
Hi bro , r u a Honda city owner.....bcoz u r complaints are too much in this video. 😢
Come on man too many criticisms for a mostly great car .
waiting for global ncap results.....
Wasn't Skoda Fabia the first premium hatchback in India?
No.... Getz was launched way before that..... After Getz, Fabia and Polo came into the picture...
Automatic should be ready at launch...Tata missed it
Jo bhi idhar reviewer ko Gali bak Raha Hain just go and get a test drive for altroz it's a good car. Log bakwas jar rahe Hain Karne do. Tata ko kya farak pasta Hain
Best review of Altroz👍
It's time for diesel and petrol consumer vehicles to phase out and EVs to come in. Oh I forgot. We don't have dependable electrical supply and infrastructure will take 20 years.
I wish they have an option to have an old school Key over push button.
I have always feeling ndtv reviews are biased. They love Hyundai cars like new Aura in reality its third class. They like chinese cars too
What to expect from NDTV. they are always biased, even in News coverage
Whether automatic available at launch
Nope
Dct is coming only after nexon facelift launcj
Created such an attractive looking car, ruined it with that vintage looking speedo.
When few kilometers more in mileage n few thousand rupees in resale is important go for maruti Suzuki n if life go for Tata .
How much petrol mileage brother
Tata altroz
Exact pricing from you guys!!!!!
The cabin should be compared with peers. I Being such a reputed channel the views on this channel are so less and the reason is the biased reviews. Compare apples to apples.
So you are saying having a lot of features is actually bad. 🥵😆
From which car altorus compete
Shift or baleno
Shift kaunsi car hai bhai?
Waise it competes with Baleno/Glanza, i20, Jazz

Tata desiel engine sounds like tractor...and even petrol one are not that refined..you can here sound inside the cabin.
I have Tata bolt ⚡
TATA HAS COME LONG WAY FROM INDICA DISASTER BUT IF WE ARE NOT WILLING TO FORGET IT ,ITS NOT THE PROBLEM WITH TATA ITS IN US .
Tata, give us 1.2 litr petrol engine with turbo charger and DSG automatic.
DSG is pathetic when it comes to reliability..... Turns the car into a complete dummy when it fails..... Hence after 3 years or so it can act as a time bomb...... Requires hell lot of maintenance
