I bought one of these last Friday around 6am and it was delivered in 2 days on a Sunday. It really was a simple one person install. I went back and forth on which tonneau cover to go with, ultimately I am very happy with my decision. That was until I saw your video today and I could’ve saved over another $100 😂. You really can’t get a more low profile and the ease of removing this product instead of it blocking the whole back window when I need the whole bed. If you think I’m a bot, feel free to leave a comment. I will give you my email and take pics with something in the background you choose so you know I’m real and the product is real. Just a guy that came across a Facebook ad and bought a too good to be true product that turned out to be real.
Thank you! We're glad you think so! The Worksport AL3 Pro is designed not only for durability but also for a sleek appearance. Enjoy the clean look and the functionality it adds to your truck bed!" 🛻💨
OK -- I am about to start the install of the AL3 Pro on my 2012 Silverado -- What I am not clear on is --- Exactly where do you line up the 3M FOAM Seal Tape on the front bulkhead? Does it get laid onto the metal with an edge of the tape closest to the inside of the bed --- forward of the bed towards the back of the cab -- or down the center kinda splitting the difference of the width of the bulkhead surface? I sure could use your tip... (from this video -- it looks like you laid the 3M Foam so there is about a 1/4" edge reveal from the inside of the bed?) PS: on another point the instruction s I have say that the back latch brackets are mounted at 280/11" from the tailgate not the 7-3/4" you did here? Thanks in advance - Retired in KY (BTW -- Best video on the AL3 Pro install)
Hey it looks nice but panels don’t have any support underneath except the one closest to tailgate which has the locking mechanism. Plus locking mechanism is about a foot back which allows it not to be snug at tailgate. These are my concerns.
At the cab we have a two touch points to secure, at the tailgate the c-clamps can be adjusted to ensure that the cover sits snug with the tailgate so you cannot lift it up, you can also adjust the latch itself as well! Should be a snug fit all the way around! For specific questions, please email customerservice@worksport.com or call 888-554-8789

try to get it closer to edge closest to the bed
How water resistant is this cover? Also does it seem to be scratch resistant?
Keeps water out, the most you should get are drips or drops from high pressure car washes!
