UnderRail is 100% a skill based game with a pretty steep learning curve.

That "nostalgia and new appreciation for an old movie" literally just happened to me today with the opening scene of Toy Story 2. There are so many good bits in that where the crew was just having a blast making it, but I never knew it as a kid.

I hate the fact that we haven't made it off this doomed rock of a planet yet all because of religion and it wanting to hurl us backwards in time. also power metal can be good it just takes some digging to find the good bands where the singer can hit those high notes but generally keeps the pitches more in the middle, if I had the mentality that all metal had to be gutterals and squeals I wouldn't have half the music I listen to. I've honestly taken to folk metal recently just for that extra sound depth, plus not every language sounds good with those kind of vocals, big example to me of a language that sometimes works with gutterals and squeals is Japanese because of bands like Dir En Grey, Deviloof, and MAXIMUM THE HORMONE but a good chunk of the really good bands I've found in Japanese have used clean vocals through most of their songs, bands like Ningen Isu, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, Wagakki Band, the GazettE, An Cafe, BAND-MAID, Versailles, girugamesh, and many others, plus with the right mood it can be really fun. feel free to take these as recommendations for bands to check out, given these are just from someone who looks at music more rhythmically and tends to hone in on the drums due to my grandfather being a drummer and I was in band from 5th to my second year of 8th grade as a percussionist

I hate 90% of the things on this list, but some people are neurodivergent and simply cannot "read the room", we gotta ask ya. I am honestly at a loss with people's expressions much of the time, so I have to ask if I crossed any boundaries or interrupted them etc pretty regularly as I've been rude af unintentionally. The only way around it is communicating that to others, unfortunately.

That "nostalgia and new appreciation for an old movie" literally just happened to me today with the opening scene of Toy Story 2. There are so many good bits in that where the crew was just having a blast making it, but I never knew it as a kid.

I don't prefer rap but I am also aware that I'm not the target audience and that lots of people DO like it. It's almost like we all had different upbringings which inform the variety reflected in things like our music tastes!

I hate the fact that we haven't made it off this doomed rock of a planet yet all because of religion and it wanting to hurl us backwards in time. also power metal can be good it just takes some digging to find the good bands where the singer can hit those high notes but generally keeps the pitches more in the middle, if I had the mentality that all metal had to be gutterals and squeals I wouldn't have half the music I listen to. I've honestly taken to folk metal recently just for that extra sound depth, plus not every language sounds good with those kind of vocals, big example to me of a language that sometimes works with gutterals and squeals is Japanese because of bands like Dir En Grey, Deviloof, and MAXIMUM THE HORMONE but a good chunk of the really good bands I've found in Japanese have used clean vocals through most of their songs, bands like Ningen Isu, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, Wagakki Band, the GazettE, An Cafe, BAND-MAID, Versailles, girugamesh, and many others, plus with the right mood it can be really fun. feel free to take these as recommendations for bands to check out, given these are just from someone who looks at music more rhythmically and tends to hone in on the drums due to my grandfather being a drummer and I was in band from 5th to my second year of 8th grade as a percussionist

I have a huge soft spot for power metal, the corny and cheesy type with dragon on the title, It was the first kind of metal I was into and it's just nostalgic fun to me, like Dragonland sounds like an anime opening with riffs and I love it.

I hate how advertisements interrupt whatever you’re trying to do to get as much of your attention as possible, whether you want to give it or not, just to try to trick you into buying something you don’t even want. I have issues with getting sensory overloaded and advertisements are the most triggering thing for that that I deal with on a daily basis, and I really hate how a bunch of rich people are willing to trigger those issues so they can get more money they don’t even need
