Men flee the scene after Land Rover crashes into parked cars

Arrests were made after two men fled the scene of a crash.
Officers were on patrol in the Bootle area at around 8.15pm on Wednesday, May 19, when they witnessed a Land Rover Discovery being driven at speed before crashing with two parked vehicles on Bedford Road.
The people inside the car got out and fled the scene. Following a search of the surrounding area two men were arrested. According to neighbours, there were several police cars at the scene, as well as a "police helicopter" overhead.
