His last wife Elanore was a great match for him intellectually. And all that she accomplished as Empress, WOW! You GO girl! She was a total Boss Betch. AND 6 of her children survived until adulthood? Back then that was a great track record. She was pretty too.
Those are not Habsburgs, but Habsburgs-Lorraine, just far collateral branch of the real Habsburgs: Carlos V, Felipe II. Ferdinand, Maximillian, Leopold...
@@MrSludovA collateral descendant' refers to relatives descended from a sibling of an ancestor, and thus a niece, nephew, or cousin. Franz Joseph I was a direct descendant of Leopold I not from a collateral branch.
The music you choose blooms the history into life. Another entertaining and informative video. Thank you! Maria Theresa's mother really had it going on.
Your videos are wonderful, particularly when featuring the Habsburgs. Margarita Theresa of Spain is worth an entire video as she was subject to many Velasquez paintings including "las meninas."
Eleonore was born in Düsseldorf, Holy Roman Empire, on the night of 6 January 1655. She was the oldest of 17 children born from Philip William, Count Palatine of Neuburg and Duke of Jülich-Berg and his second wife, Landgravine Elisabeth Amalie of Hesse-Darmstadt. On her father's side her grandparents were Wolfgang Wilhelm, Count Palatine of Neuburg and his first wife, Magdalene of Bavaria. On her mother's side, her grandparents were George II, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt and Sophia Eleonore of Saxony. Of her three sisters who survived into adulthood one became Queen consort of Spain, another Queen consort of Portugal & the third Duchess consort of Parma.
I actually am interested in history about Habsburg Holy Roman Empire by the way. Very fascinating to know more of this long ruling Emperor and his three wives,as I am still curious every time, I am certainly proud of your incredible project. Keep doing your best job!! Thank you very much for that!! You are truly talented, Mr. Panagiotis Constantinou!!!!!
Thank you! It's great to learn the history of this part of the European royals, including their quite unfortunate tendancy to inbreed and the consequence of that!!🧐 By the way, I had never known until now what countries made up the "Holy Roman Empire"! And thank you too for this information about the lifetimes of the wives 🤓😁. And fabulous face reconstruction too 👌 superb!
Some of the noses were completely different. They had more of a convex shape . And knowing that painters were almost forced to embellish their models, I think the computer images didn’t do that much justice to the real features of girls faces.
They were all inbred and much less attractive than any of their portraits. I believe this person made them look more attractive, and it's probably the exact opposite.
Your videos are amazing! It brings history literally to life and makes the people more relatable than "only" looking at paintings or sculptures. Can someone by chance name the song that plays while Claudia Felicitas is shown?
Excellent!! All of them were very beautiful 😍😍 (especially Margaret Therese) Please, could you make a video about Charles III of Spain and his wife Maria Amalia of Saxony. (They were considered the ugliest looking couple in Europe in the XVIII century!!!)

Well done faces! It looked quite convincing. I only reacted on a few things; the square shaped eye on the girl, and the way the hair staid still when the head moved. -What is the difficulty with also getting movement in the hair?
They made the lips smaller in painting than they were in reality. The fashion of how they portrayed people differentiated so now and then. So both woman didn't have those small lips in real life as portrayed here and often big noses or big eyes are sometimes not as much the case as well depending on the time it was painted.

Most of the royals were and still are close relatives with each other, what a tragedy.

You narrowed his nose and lips from the portrait and straightened his eyes.
