For people that are confused. Basically all mythology is based around their ISU counterparts. Odin and his council were actually high ranking members of an ISU society in the region / city of Asgard. There are other city’s such as Atlantis (where the Greek ISU / gods live) and Eden (where Juno, Minerva, Alethia are all from). Odin and his council joined the sage program during the cataclysm so they will be reborn in time. The reason we don’t see grand ISU city’s but instead a norse mythology Asgard is because eivor has no way to comprehend what he’s seeing in his visions. Therefore we see the retelling of actual Odin’s memory’s before the cataclysm, but in the form of Norse mythology. As it stands all human mythology is loosely based on the actual ISU members of that region. Ubisoft really don’t do a good job of explaining this leading to much confusion.
To add to what you say, the border between the Isus "branches" are kinda blurry For example, Juno is Hyrrokin, Jupiter is Suttungr, Minerva is Gunlodr and Aletheia is Angrboda in the Asgardian way of representing the Isus of Eivor

@@ahmedsachwani2868 Roman and Greek Gods are basically counterparts of each other which were interpreted differently in different regions. Minerva/Athena who is the daughter of Jupiter/Zeus and Juno/Hera is referred to as the wife of Jupiter/Zeus who's always been the jealous one of the lot. Its not something new honestly. Its when the distances grew like Greece/Rome to Egypt or Norway is when the different Gods with different characteristics start to appear.

Juno was known as Juni and Jupeter as Tinia, and she was known as Mera, then Merva and then Minerva. They all went with different names in different regions, but were the same Isu. Even in AC V you can see that Juno was the women Hyrrokin, who said she ruled in a land in noble triad and now her betrayal will cause them to hunt her forever. She also says 6 times they tried to stop Ragnarok (The Catastrophe) 6 times they failed. The 7th the Sage Project will be salvation, we know this to be only partially true. Pretty much all the gods in mythology are at least related to the Isu. The only ones I'm not sure are the Egyptian gods since they only appeared as manifestations from an Animus glitch.
I liked the story, when I saw the end for the first time I didn’t understand, what the eivor did to the basim’s son, but now I understand, the loki in the basim’s mind thinks that odin in the eivor’s mind has already taken over his body, the same thing happens in the end, tyr took over sigurd and odin’s mind in eivor’s mind wanted him to stay there to take over his body, a story very well told, now we just need to unravel who the thor reincarnated, and for what the loki said, fenrir died either by odin or thor, and loki wants revenge

The thing I hated about this ending was that all of Alexios' struggles, and trials with the staff, to in the end giving it to Layla, all were part of Aletheia and Loki's plan to reincarnate and fuck shit up. So Alexios was just used, and in the end, aided the bad guys in winning.
Umm Loki is far from a villain lol. Now that Loki is in present day, he will learn all that he can about human history, templars, and assassins. With his ISU knowledge and present day knowledge he would be very powerful. Loki is not evil, in fact Odin seems like a massive punk face considering Fenrir is actually an Isu Odin treated like a dog and he’s a douche in the death conversations. Loki and Alethia don’t want to mess up the humans or enslave them like Juno and the Templars, they just want to be reunited with their family. Loki seems to be the true goal of chaos/free will of the assassin order where Odin and his group are the templars and want control or power/everlasting life. He seems suspicious, but he is the most interesting character. Now that Dawn of Ragnorak trailer just released, it seems to imply that Basim/Loki is viewing Odins memories in the animus to search for his children.
@@eden20111 you need to ask yourself some things. Why was Fenrir going to kill Odin, if he was just a child? He's technically a Jotun (Loki and Aletheia are both at least partly from the opposing faction of the Aesir, which is the isu we've seen in the other games) but the Asgard storyline shows he was growing more powerful by the second. And he was predestined to escape and kill Odin, which he ended up doing. It seems to me that Loki's kids were dangerous, they had powers that other isu didn't and that terrified them. If the nornir are the calculations of the world tree, why did they predict Fenrir would kill Odin? There's a missing piece of this story. Also remember, Baldr also lives on in some sort of aether, Fenrir and Hel as well. Baldr refused to let Odin know how he saved himself. Why so much mystery? If Hel cooperated with Baldr to this end, and Baldr, Fenrir and Hel are still out there somewhere to the point Basim is looking for them, what mischief could this trio be up to? Baldr, the 'light of the world', Fenrir, an isu child with incredible power that terrified the Aesir, and Hel, who helped Baldr himself. Loki is a good father, but he will never understand dispassionately that his children might be dangerous. It's like a father who, whatever his son does, will protect and help him no matter the cost. But the cost might be humanity. Who knows what someone who considers himself the 'light of the world' may do when he sees the pettiness and weakness of humanity? And if Hel is helping him, with Fenrir hidden somewhere and Loki searching for them, who knows what might happen? Point is, we don't know how dangerous Fenrir was and why Odin and the others feared him so much.
Okay, can I just ask in the secret ending where they are going with weapons? In the Asgard ending it made sense given they were off to fight Ragnarok but in the secret ending it doesn't. I know they had to do it because the visions of Asgard are supposed to be fantasized versions of what actually happened but it still doesn't explain where they are going with weapons as if they are heading to a fight.
Obviously no-one knows because it isn't explained, but it is said that the Isu failed to prevent apocalypse due to (among other things) infighting, so I suppose they could be heading out to fight another faction of Isu. The destruction we see of their lab could f.ex be an attack, not something natural.
@@Nightss That's what I think to. Isus who probably sided with humans or who had different ideas. In the fantasy version they would have been Jotun. Atlantis in Odyssey was just a simulation and Asgard arc in Valhalla is just Eivor's interpretation of Isus. There were many different Isu groups with different cultures like Odin and Jupiter belonged to different Isu groups. Eagle Vision is a human trait, not the Isu 6th sense. The 6th sense is probably Isu's abilities to read time.

No no, it's just that Eivor is supposed to be a reincarnation of Odin, and Basim is a re-incarnation of Loki. No connections to Assassins or Templars (yet)
@@jasonlal9570 Yeah, that's how I understood it. The thing I hated about this ending was that all of Alexios' struggles, and trials with the staff, to in the end giving it to Layla, all were part of Aletheia and Loki's plan to reincarnate and fuck shit up. So Alexios was just used, and in the end, aided the bad guys in winning.
Wasted thousands of lives for nothing
*Laughs in Desmond Miles*
But who are the bad guys?
No no, it's just that Eivor is supposed to be a reincarnation of Odin, and Basim is a re-incarnation of Loki. Cause Aletheia asked if Odin was there when Basim was resurrected and since Isu can calculate futures, maybe she saw that a Sage of Odin could have appeared in modern times. Can someone explain to me why I never seen this part? For me it ended after havi is told about ragnarok. For some reason I never seen the part where they actually do it..?
Complete the animus glitch mysteries
Were they Isu though? They didn’t have markings
Odin died like tyr and the others that left the place
So who's the son of basim in isu form and why did eivor killed him/ treated him bad?
Basim is Loki
Eivor is Odin
Loki's Son is Fenrir (the wolf that Odin beats in some random garden in Asgard)
Loki wants revenge
@@_AJTV_ yes i know, but that is the version of the religion. But how about the truth? How about when they isu? Who is the son of basim in that moment, is it always a wolf?
@@wicklahaine its the wolf that bitest the young eivor at the beginning of the game
Well we don’t know how he looks like in isu form but the reason why Eivor wanted him dead was because the Nornir (the faceless seer women) told him that Fenrir (Basim/Loki’s son) would kill Eivor/Odin during Ragnarok. Hope that answers your question
Them some big babies.
@ 1:56 you can tell thats loki that dips inside when the door opens
In the Vikings version at the start u can get hints of the truth because u can see the Vikings with Isu swords.
Also I think Odin and the others here aren’t Isu but powerful human hybrids like kassandra 2.0 with Isu weapons and objects making them more powerful. Asgard could have just been a Isu city the humans captured and kept and learned how to use the technology for themselves... I mean they were made by Isu they should have some basic understanding on how it all works
Odin was isu because what you see in the screen is what Jupiter shows desmond in revelations both events took place at the same time
You know what! That actually makes perfect sense! If I remember correctly, in Norse mythology, the jotnar were said to be ‘bigger’ (not always bigger, but most were bigger) than the beings of the other 8 realms (which draws comparison to the Isu, as they were bigger than humans)
They also said that the jotnar predate the aesir and vanir etc, so that’s actually a brilliant theory! The jotnar would be Isu, since they came before the Aesir (isu/human hybrids) 👏🏾
You just opened up my mind holy… odin is not over height like the Isu in odyssey dlc and does not have colorful light lines on his face... it’s just so perfectly make sense.
@@夏凡-k4y if you pay attention odin looks very much like an isu being an isu doesn’t mean you need to have lines on your face. Minerva was an isu she had nothing on her face
@@夏凡-k4y We never see a human near Odin, so we don't know his size, to be fair ^^
I didn’t have any isu cut scene after killing fenir anyone know y
IT IS DONE
Does the asgard story line of a bad ending does anyone know
So stupid we're supposed to belive that the Aesir speak like the old Norse gods but only when it suits the narrative, and while they still know to call things by their own names. Sad writing
More like you have stupid pet peeves
2:14 this look strange hm
i know the arab was loki, they had the same face
So just to be sure, Eivor was reborn as isu/Odin?
Yeah like basim
Dude...why would you do that?! Why would you spoil that for me!
Mean dude why you click on the video lol
@@lynxregions6724 it's spoiled in the title...
@@jackdaw999 don’t look at the title lol
@@lynxregions6724 it isn’t as easy as you say it
I watched it and I never knew about this ending and it saves me time
So my guess is that in the next assassin's creed game it's going to take place in the present time but where going to play as one of those baby clones
Nope all of em is reborned, Odin is Eivor, Tyr is Sigurd the others I dont know. In present day we might play as another reborned Odin if the thing showed in the video would still work.
Huh? Those baby clones are Eivor, Sigurd, Bashim etc.
@@Kitumi578 He probably didnt play the whole game
@Max Bardus that's called having babies. They're not their ancestors, they're literally reincarnations of the gods.
@@Kitumi578 We actually know Eivor and Sigurd parent's, so, yeah, the theory of the embryos being their ancestors and not them directly make sense ;)
So is thst whole story about Aletheia being dikastes and shit just made up.
Well aletheia, Juno, Minerva, and Jupiter are all portrayed as jotnar. Aletheia probably manipulated the simulation so in the future Layla would meet basim and he would come back. Also she has a lot of interesting dialogue in the animus anomalies
@@themcthiccums3206 alethia is the witch you meet in the woods as odin ya know the one who betrays you with loki
Aletheia is Angrboda
Im caught up on the story but what is going on here? The outfits they wear seems like the the ISU but I haven’t bought this game yet im caught up on the rest of the games this one id kinda confusing yes im ready for spoilers
So, Eivor has visions and seer Valka makes a potion that let's her/him relive the life of Odin, first cutscene is what Eivor relives (Completing story in Asgard and Jotunheim) and the second is a message, left by Basim/Loki that you unlock by finishing all Animus Anomalies, it's really hard to explain, so just find a video with all endings of Valhalla, that might make it a bit easier to understand.
Basically this is the ending you get by solving all Animus Anomalies. It shows Odin, Loki and co using the same method Juno used on Aita to create Sage so while they would die because of the Catastrophe, they would be reborn and get a new life after that. The Asgard visions are just a retelling of that scene and what happened between Odin and Loki but in the eyes of someone from a viking era to understand it better.
What eivor sees and what happens to the isu is the same thing but the reason eivor sees the tree instead of machine and bowl instead of mask is cause eivor cannot comprehend the tech so that’s why there’s a mythology sort of mask
So Basim is Loki but who’s Sigurd and Eivor then?
Eivor = Odin
Sigurd = Tyr
I don't think we know the rest but we can only speculate
Eivor is Odin, Sigurd is Tyr, and Freyja is apparently Valka's mother
@@usernamenotwrittenoutoflaz9865 Thank you that makes since, but since Eivor beat Odin does that mean they aren’t Odin anymore
@@exploringshadows-v9b thank you so much, I love your videos. I was wondering are you gonna do a female walkthrough?
@@sarahheat1808 the way I understand it is that Evior is still Odin's reincarnation, but Evior has rejected his knowledge/ideals, so what the fight between Evior and Odin was Evior deciding to walk away from what he thought he wanted. Power and glory.
Couple questions cuz I’ve watched this 20 times now… who takes the sword through the chair and dies?… why was that person never unplugged either? … better yet can somebody just clear up this cutscene 😂
Heimdall and likely because Loki didn't care.
Possibly that ISU was killed by Loki was Heimdallr!!
Of course he was Heimdall.
Why are they being controlled like that?
Omg I missed sumthin in game😑🤦🏾♀️ ion wanna go back lol
Yeah we know all that but who is the son because it’s impossible to be a real wolf.

No understand odin is a templar and loki assasins or what????
Yeah actually in valhalla templars are the good guys and assassins r bad
But as time would come templars became greedy af
@@mrudula8400 one assassin is bad not hytham
@@mrudula8400 in Valhalla, the templars are evil, except their christian leader and ONE of the TWO assassins in the entire game is evil. Also why do people think Eivor is a templar? Just because he/she isn't part of the brotherhood, doesn't automatically mean they're templar
King Alfred founded the templar order because he didn’t like the fact that his members of the order of ancients were worshipping the isu as the one true gods instead of the Christian god. Odin is not a Templar, he just wanted to find a way to be immortal in way so that his people could live on but he became selfish about it. Loki/Basim only became an assassin to free his wife because he knew the probability of Layla finding the isu world tree because of his wife's plan using Layla to career the staff.
This game shows the foundational difference between what exactly was the difference between the Templar Order and the Order of the Ancients. The Hidden Ones origin story was given in AC Origins, and are basically the same but I guess as Shaun says, it was just renamed to Assassins Order during Altaïr's era.
So how this relates to ac mirage? I’m so confused
Mirage is before valhalla
Wow what an insanely spoilery title for no reason. “Secret ending” oh here’s the secret in case you haven’t got there.
Wait....did they get newborn every generation?
Not that we can tell we don't know if this is the same or different to the other isu coming back in the other games
No. They different from Aita. They reborn only once, so Odin will be dead with Eivor's death, because he couldn't take control of her
So they went into the Matrix?
If you play the game everything makes sense and also what happened to them
So Eivor is Odin, but he killed Odin, and turns out to be a isu?
Kratos, can you and boy clean this shit up please?
Hahahahahahahaha I’m dying this game is soo trash
I believe that the fight was to show that Eivor is in control and not Oden
Eivor didn't kill Odin, he/she fought him and then escaped
Eivor is basically a "sage" who did not let Odin take over his mind unlike Basim who is now completely "Loki" in memories and personality.
We've already seen this thing happening back in the old days with Clay, but this game shows what's happening in their heads when both the self and Isu consciousness are fighting to take over the body.
@@bigdaddykane1098 Hell nah this game's story was written masterfully. Y'all just got little brains...

How do you get this cutscene
Complete all 10 animus anomalies
Can someone tell me what's the meaning of isu
It's the name of the first civilization
So odin is isu?
Yep. Like Loki, Tyr, Freyja and pretty much every god from every mythology.
Well that was obvious since AC2 when Jupiter, Minerva and Juno showed up lmfao
All "mythological" Gods and Goddesses are said to be part of the Isu civilization, but not everyone is a Reader of time.
I have no idea what the hell is going on
Basically the "gods" reincarnated by planting their DNA after the calamity that ended the Isu era.
@@jaxeight It's basically the same process that made Aita (Bart Roberts) in Black Flag. They all became sages in a sense.
When is this in game?
When you finishes all the Territory pledges then Sigurd will take you to Norway northeast of the end.
So every good in all mythos is an isu?
yeap ^^
Wtf why odin is a templar and Loki assassin? Make no sense
In a way it does. Odin always sought to outwit fate to control his destiny. Loki instead is far more chaotic. I wonder what became of freya and thor. Are they too in england? And are their other versions of Odin, Tyr and Loki?
