I really wish that his statement bad times don't last, would have been the stepping stone for him to have been cleaned many many years ago. Although after the DDP he did remain sober, but unfortunately he passed. Never been this heartbroken about someone I didn't know, but he was one of my all time favorite wrestlers.
@@EM-tg4ft he relapsed briefly but he got it back in line. He was a good man with some bad demons. We’re all gonna miss his stories and personality. :(
Bischoff really should have set Scott aside and turned him into his own Triple H, like what Vince McMahon did. Scott was brilliant but he always needed a hand to keep him from falling to his personal demons, which Bischoff could (and should) have done. Scott Hall could have fought his demons one step at a time, but consistently and build himself a reputation as a creative talent with managerial potential years down the line.

All things considered, this was a happy ending for Scott Hall courtesy of the living angel himself, DDP. The way he was living at his peak it could have gone much worse and much sooner. DDP gave him ten years and a fair fight with his demons. Whether or not he truly lost to them in the end doesn't matter- because he got his life back before his body gave out.
