      @ArtofSkinCare  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Angie! It is best done at night, as then your skin can heal overnight (this is when it does its best healing). You can do this up to 2-3 times per week, but I find I see amazing results just using once per week.

    Hello! thank you for the video. How often can we use the roller?

    • @ArtofSkinCare
      @ArtofSkinCare  3 роки тому +2

      It depends how aggressive you are. With a light hand, you can use it once every 10 days. If you use you roll more aggressively and stimulate some light flaking then wait 5 weeks to give the new cells time to rebound. Never use needles larger than .25 or .3 or you can cause damage to your collagen layer and scarring.

    • @ArtofSkinCare
      @ArtofSkinCare  10 місяців тому +1

      How often depends on how aggressive you are. I roll until the skin pinks-up real evenly so I only do it once per month. You can only do the eye area if you are very gentle using little pressure and needle length no longer than .25. Check my website for more up to date instructions.

    Hi, Your videos for this product and the stamp microneedle are great -- so helpful! How often do you suggest doing the full facial? And, how often to use the brightening roller? (only after the full facial or for a few days after the full facial?)
    I also have the full Aftercare Kit which has more serum, accelerator and brightener.
    I look forward to your insight. =)

    • @ArtofSkinCare
      @ArtofSkinCare  3 роки тому +1

      I like to do the facial treatment and needle my skin once per month but I am pretty aggressive with my needling. If you are less aggressive you can do every 10 days. I needle with the facial on the same day unless I am doing a more active exfoliation/peel.

    Thank you for the demo! Do you recommend extra treatment for trouble spots? The pores around my lips are so big now at my age and often have been asked if I'm a smoker :( but have NEVER smoked - anything. Maybe as my lips shrunk with age the general plumped look in the whole area causes this? I bought my roller at my nail salon, where they used to do all aesthetics, but not too many now. So I know they are Cosmeticians/Esteticians but they didn't explain anything and no instructions were in the box. Thus I am in bed looking for info lol. I will have to call them now to see if there were the ampules of solution you mention as well as the after treatment cream that I should have purchased. Perhaps Sephora sells these things? Thanks so much!!

      Personally, I need a more customized approach than the AnteAge duo so I use NeoGenesis Recovery and usually Rhonda Allison Serums for glycation and hyperpigmentation. AnteAge is perfect for those that want a simplified routine. Depending on your age you will just need a moisturizer and sunscreen. If you fo with AnteAge, I recommend the NeoGenesis Barrier Renewal and the Sorella Quench & Protect. For a tool, I recommend the LightStim at night. That is a beautiful routine with excellent healthy aging support.

    Thank you for sharing. I apply tretinoin every night. Do I need to stop applying days before and after microneedling with the .25mm?

    • @ArtofSkinCare
      @ArtofSkinCare  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Wanda, I recommend taking a break for 7 to 10 days after needling if you stimulate a light peel. It really depends on how aggressive you are. If you do not get dry skin or a light peel then resume your tretinoin after a few days.
      I am not a fan of tretinoin. I find that it is too harsh with prolonged use stimulates a ropey callous-like texture on the skin. I do online consultations if you would like to try something new. www.artofskincare.com/healthy-aging-consultation/

      Hi Nikki! If you are keeping it in a clean, sanitary place, you don't need to clean it before AND after each use. However, it definitely doesn't hurt to! You want to let it sit in alcohol for a few seconds then let it air dry completely.

    Hi, I just started researching about microneedling. Your video was very good explaining how to use the roller. I'm excited to try it on my skin, however, I have rosacea. I take oral medication and it's under control. Do you know if it is okay to use the roller on rosacea sufferers? Thank you.

    • @ArtofSkinCare
      @ArtofSkinCare  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Ana! It is typically not recommended to microneedle on rosacea, even if it is under control. It could cause a flare up. If it is something you are really set on, then I would only receive the treatment through a licensed professional, with your doctors approval.

      @@Lushleah1988 The first three weeks on the AnteAGE system, I had random small breakouts. This was because the system speeds up the skin metabolism. Once that settled, I noticed a little dryness as old damaged skin cells began to slough off. I remedied that with a nice moisturizer. After that I noticed that some old scars and dark spots began to fade. The dark spots got lighter from the center outward. The skin takes 6 weeks for new cells to reach the surface so each wave of new cells, every six weeks looked healthier. My skin became less reactive and less prone to uneven pigmentation. Overall, my mom and I both noticed that we were getting more compliments on our skin. Her skin looked less fragile, more plump and healthy. With the addition of the needling, we have both seen dark spots lightening up and with the added collagen stimulation, our skin is more plump and capillaries are less visible.

      Hi Pamela,
      I have been microneedling for over 10 years. I agree that it isn't painful, but it can have a bit of bite over the bony areas of the face depending on your sensitivity. Our skin is constantly changing as new cells are grown and old ones are exfoliated off. To see results we do have to continue nourishing those new cells and supporting their rise to the surface. If you have more questions, our skincare specialists would love to answer your questions and provide you with more information. You can reach out to them on our website by clicking the question mark on the lower left hand side of the page to open up a live chat!
