**Note: can drop rudder some in water in order to reduce vessel sway during motoring. The Zulu rudder is large though and we found it best to keep it up usually during motoring the tight canal area. This allowed us to turn sharper with trolling motor.

Im looking at the Zulu I-Guide and Nucanoe Unlimited or U10 with an Xi3. All are great platforms and offer great options. It's going to be a tough choice
I’m having an issue with the Autoboat when having the trolling motor follow a track. After starting a track if I minimize the app or lock my phone screen the trolling motor goes to speed 0 and I have to use the remote to turn the speed back up. It gets pretty annoying when I’m trying to check the map to see where Im at in a track. Any fix for this? Seems like a bug in the software

If the phone app sleeps it results in a break of communication between the unit and isn’t actively being used. People in the past had phone disconnect for some reason and motor was still following last known phone command …..it became dangerous. So the app software was changed to stop motor in cases where app controller disconnects. Phone has less range than blue remote. We recommend people use phone as back up remote or for the advanced map features and to change settings. If app is your primary controller then don’t put it to sleep and change your phone settings to not put phone into sleep.
