There are so many of these videos but the general consensus is that these methods do not work. It's something molecular that happens with the plastic itself and bleaching or using peroxide won't take the yellow out since its internal. It's probably new straps he threw on. I think a better alternative would be to dye the straps. Maybe a quick dye to keep the transparency sort of a cream or light beige color etc. That's what I plan on doing. I don't trust these peroxide methods anymore since all the other videos are full of people saying it doesn't work at all.
Before uses 3000K light bulb or probably less about 2000 Kelvin light, after uses 6000K light bulb. Thanks for showing us the light difference between an incandescent 2000K light bulb and a led 6000K light bulb 😅
Hi. I just want to let you know that this instruction is really effective. I tried it on my GA 100 model. I followed your instruction and it worked. Now my watch case is 99% clear. 1% is for the little but not obvious yellowish part. Maybe because i only used 12% content on the Hydrogen Peroxide i used. This is the only one available in my country. In fact there is a bonus on your suggestion becuase i used it on the sole of my adidas superstar shoe sole who is already turning into orange. Guess what it also turned into white now. Again it helped me a lot to save on buying new wether watch case or shoes etc.😊👍👏
Dont use 12 percent hydrogen peroxide, use anything below 10 percent composition. Soak the straps in the liquid while it is in the sun, u dont even have to do this for a few hours, just a few minutes and the yellow is completely gone. The thing is, this is how you will have to clean your white/clear/beige coloured silicone watch from now on unless you keep the watch in direct sunlight all the time which is impractical and bad lol. I have a wenger chronograph watch thats natrual beige/cream coloured, face included. Over 8 years the parts of the silicone straps where it meets the watch casing started yellowing and you can tell because the shade was no longer matching the beige colour of the watch face. I did to those straps what was explained in first paragraph and they're back like new. The only problem is, this is how i have to clean the watch every time i want to go out. Sometimes i dont even have to use peroxide, it just turns back to its normal colour if im wearing the watch on a hot/sunny day but indoors it gets the yellow stain again.
I can't tell if the strap has really changed colour as the background is also yellowy and bluey in the before and after shots. ua-cam.com/video/n-7vgpumZ_c/v-deo.html
Guys idk what casetify used but I’ve had their phone case for 2+ years and it hasn’t yellowed yet and I work outside. We have to get them to make some clear Apple Watch bands because they know the secret to no yellow
*Wrist Action* you are a genius. You helped me revive a (yellowed) 4 year old G-Shock, that I loved so much. 🏆🎉
Happy to help!
was your G-shock clear plastic like this one or was it white or something? Big difference
@@Guinea54 it was clear/see through, like the swatch I had back in 1985 haha
@@Trini4th I hear most people say this method never works ::: shrugs:::
@@Guinea54 I even used it on my phone case. It worked again *shrugs* lol. Most people have the patience/ attention span of an insect lol

Yeah this video is joke
I thought the same but wouldn't a strap look even more yellow under a 6000k light because of the contrast?
I tried this with my clear G-Shock that was yellowing and it does NOT work. I am going to dye the band instead.
Que tal te salio
It doesn’t work
What detergent did you use? The mild detergent you used seemed to work great on the face cover. Why not just use that on the straps as well?
Try dawn, any mild dish washing detergent
Does it affect the fading color of colored jelly straps? Does this peroxide fade the color of the colored jelly strap or no?
.
Just curious how long does this last? In any case thanks for the tip! I plan on trying this on my cell phone case! 👍
the answer is: it depends upon the temperature and uv amount the plastic is exposed to.
@2:40 why are the straps looking brand new BEFORE you clean them? Seems very fake.

@@victoralcantara1350 Thank you. I am happy that it helped you.
@@wristaction 🤝 you are welcome. Thanks again.
Great to know that this watch case won't be a write off after a couple of years!
please, anybody say this help or no?
No
Instead of using cream peroxide, can we just use the peroxide liquid that’s available at a chemist and put a bowl of that in the sun?
you can, but wouldn't the liquid run off?
@@wristaction Not if it's in a bowl, as I said.
That thing looked brand new after.. great job and great video 👍🏾
@@MMXZero2120 Thank you.
How about a “mini mini” fix in 22lr to match my el Camino
Hope you are doing well in Alaska

Nice tip!!! I just need to bay the watch 😂
Amazing stuff. Great vid and good to learn how to fix a common issue like this. 👌🏼
its called: color grading. nice try though. dude has us believing the bleach also got rid of the unnatural red/yellowisch color of his skin
It’s the peroxide in it. Similar to clear shoe soles. Idiot
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Better off dying it a different colour. Theres a guide on here thats easy to find. Guy dyes it black and it looks dope.
