    Thanks for wasting my time. Thanks to you, I got plenty of foam. The baking soda is foaming nicely, there are ten hundred million bubbles.

    ive tried the hydrogen peroxide/uv light method and it works.
    submerge your case in hydrogen peroxide and blast it with uv light for as long as it take.
    i used a resin 3d printing cleaner and curing station, you could always use the sun as your uv light, but itll take longer.

    Why did you feel the need to add "iPhone or Android case" is beyond me, it's just a phone no matter what operating system it has 😂

      The answer is SEO.
      Some people might type "android case" instead of "phone case", for example. Essentially by adding both keywords to the title, he's optimising SEO.
      And for the record, it's not necessarily that people are dumb. They just name things differently. If you don't know what an OS is because... I don't know, you like piano, gardening and cooking, and not tech. Then, whenever you hear "do you have an android", you might just start associating the entire slab of plastic, metal, and glass with the word "android" as opposed to just the OS.
      When you think about it like, I'm sure it now makes a lot of sense why the title has "iPhone or Android case", it may not exactly have to do with iPhone cases being built of a different material or something.
      TL;DR, you're thinking too narrow minded, and falsely calling people dumb. This type of thinking is a danger to society.

    This is awesome! I got super excited until I realized you were pranking us LOL I have mine sitting in baking soda and vinegar now while I looked up and found your video. I realize it's a waste of time trying to salvage it LOL thank you for saving me countless hours when I should just A. leave it be or B. buy a new case Luckily I could care less about my iphone with its toxic 5G radiation and keep it as far from me as possible most often! I should now instead invest in a faraday cage ;-) God bless and have a great day!

    I have seen people clearing old plastics, such as old gaming consoles, using a strong base (like H2O2) with ultra violet lights, and let it shine for one entire night.
    Would you like to try that ?

    • @edcvibes
      @edcvibes  2 місяці тому +1

      White plastics yes but it isn’t as effective on clear silicone. I’d be willing to give it a shot though just to try everything :) thanks for the tip!

      @@edcvibes it totally works on silicone and all kinds of rubber, jsut lots of time and proper hydrogen peroxide which is hard to get because it can be used for explosives

      @@edcvibes hydrogen peroxide totally works it turns crystal clear like new, even 1 inch thick rubber from midi controllers i have done multiple times, you need q quite potent hydrogen peroxide tho and it's a regulated substance, the strongest legally available works fine tho.
      now the important part is you need uv light to activate it and qctually quite some time, there is a little in sunlight, or you build a uv light station.
      this works 100% but takes days depending on the type of rubber and thickness
