I'm sure it was informative, you probably just didn't care to listen because you didn't CHOOSE to learn that topic, the teacher was forced to teach it to you.

Being drunk doesn't mean you know less. The one time I got absolutely wasted I remember the other asking them self something. It was a Fakt that I knew so I told them. They were impressed because I was "sooo intelligent even when drunk " but the truth is I just learn more. They are just generally smart and knowledgeable people.

This is gold and enlightening! I am an alcoholic and I experience the after effects and it's so saddening, but I am in denial. This brings awareness to the truth and I appreciate anyone who speaks and exposes it, it's a beautiful thing. Thank you for this. ive been living in isolation in a studio apartment for only 7 months and im already feeling like im going crazy. i have 0 friends anymore, its been months since ive talked to anyone. please cherish every relationship you have, big or small. all i can ever think about anymore is how badly i want to kill myself. I just turned 21 so I've been doing this for like 3 weeks. I drank a fair bit during quarantine too, but sometimes I couldn't get alcohol when I wanted it. Sometimes my uncle would be too tired after work, or my grandma just didn't feel like going. But now I can just walk to Walmart at 7 in the morning to buy if I want to lmao.

So sometimes when you sleep less than you should, the body doesn t have the time to bring it back at the normal level before you wake up.

As ethanol is a depressant, i'd imagine that getting completely hammered would relax many of your facial muscles somewhat, making you kinda seem different.
Being drunk for 12 hours straight will also dehydrate the body, so that might also have some impact.

I actually kind of knew what you said about alcohol making you think clearly about nothing. I suspect I have undiagnosed adhd. I constantly get mentally stuck, or distracted, and it makes doing things hard, sometimes. If I do things while I’m a little buzzed, though, it’s easier not to get stuck or distracted. It’s weird.
Honestly this would be really interesting to do this with Marijuana! There’s not much research on it and I’d love to see this same experience but with that.

I know I don't drink enough water in a day, especially during quarantine - maybe you two could figure out an experiment about the effects of that? Like, how does dehydration impact your energy/appearance/cognition? Or, maybe you guys could drink the appropriate amount of fluid to stay hydrated, but do it with any beverage *besides* water (tea, coffee, soda, milk, you name it!). I'm definitely guilty of doing that, and I'm curious to see whether it could have impacted anything.
I bet a lot of people are not drinking enough water. 🥤 well we know it’s not good for us, our kidneys. Also some people have A-fib, atrial fibrillation issues from not drinking enough water. Yep he drank too much coffee ☕️ most of his life (not really much alcohol). ;) would be great to see the science 🧪

When I binge for 5 days straight I look 5x worse than what I normally look like. Almost can’t even recognize myself. When it was really bad and I was getting blacked out drunk everyday for like 2 months back in early 2020 I legit looked like a completely different dude. Scary stuff.
