ATTENTION COMMENT MODERATORS: . . . . . Please inform Achenar that he has been entirely misdirected by a bad word choice in the game info for Ashes of War. The only reason he has avoided trying and using and playing with them is because he is afraid if he applies one, it forever erases the prior ash of war. And this is only because the game stupidly and falsely states, "the previous ash of war will be LOST." (Uhh, no it won't. It literally is NOT lost: it reverts back to the original ash when you remove any applied ash.) This mistake is ruining much of the potential fun of watching him play, and, I daresay, cheating him of much of his own pleasure in the game itself, and not because of his own failure to figure out what the game is saying. He is missing out on a major component of the gameplay. Please correct this, because it's not Ach's fault, it's the game devs for choosing incorrect language to create a false conclusion. It's needlessly punishing to him and us, and if I were him, I'd be royally pissed when I found out I had been misguided by the game text way back at the beginning and missed out on a whole lot of the fun.
33:02 hahaha a cozy shield, that's so cute (makes me wanna go back and buy it 👀) Aah I'm so excited to see you getting to this part of the game! You definitely have the most interesting, chill, thorough playthrough of this game ❤
Oh! You were so close to discovering Seluvis' hidden cellar!! Another entertaining episode, but I understand your frustration and disappointment. Hopefully the next one will be packed full of surprises, new discoveries and NPCs popping up where they are supposed to be 😊 Keep it up!
I know that you can play this game in any order you want but this episode shows what happens when you jump around all over the place and miss npcs, like the like blind maiden for example, which would mess with a completionist like himself.
Yes and no. The game is somewhat brutal for some npc quests but quite forgiving in others. The blind maiden is not a good example for reasons we can't discuss here.
Was thinking the same thing. Possible spoiler: The game is generally punishing with how he's been playing the last 10-15 episodes. Seems like he's going with what's interesting to him instead of just finishing what he started, with a heavy heavy dose of overanalyzing.
I have more then 1500 hrs in Elden ring, and in this episode I’m seeing some shit that I have never seen before… CRAZY! And what the heck is this Juvenil outfit that I had never seen before ?!?!?!
Wow I won’t say much because of spoilers… but I was genuinely confused that you didn’t find anybody here. I had to look up what triggered it. Do keep this place in mind for future npc sweeps.
Yeah that's crazy. After beating the game multiple times, I didn't even know that was possible. But I guess it makes sense. I hope his trusted advisors come through somehow!
Yea this comment is pure SPOILER so Achenar don’t read this… When it comes to quests in elden ring they really depend a lot on which order you tackle areas. I’m pretty sure it’s because he fought radahn so early. And will have to beat him before it progresses with Blaidd Ranni And Sulivus
@@TSpoon823 SPOILERS BELOW what’s funny is I almost did this in my most recent playthrough but didn’t actually enter the festival plaza- I just grabbed the grace there and went back into the castle to get flaming strike. I think I went and did caria manor immediately after getting it and managed to dodge this.
SPOILERS - DO NOT READ . . . When I hear Achenar say that Ranni is a major boss when they're actually (probably) going to get engaged and he's going to receive a pretty dope engagement gift hehehehe 💍🗡
@@Patrik1st He says. I'm a nice and patient person, so I am going to explain (TLDR: please refer to my first sentence): as many other people here, on this channel, I commented on something that I did not want Achenar to read, since he asks, in every single video, not to spoil anything unless we put a clear warning before. Subsequently, we are allowed to react and interact with other viewers without ruining the experience for him.
Yeah, talk about disappointing and anticlimactic… I was looking forward to this episode. Now I’m just sorry for you man… strange choices leads to strange results. 🤷🏼♀️😑
SPOILERS SERIOUSLY, MORE SPOILER DISCUSSION BELOW VERY SPOILERS Hopefully this is down far enough to be covered - Anyway, yeah, I am majorly disappointed. I never even knew you could make it so Ranni wouldn't be there. I've played through the game many many times, and watched a ton of playthroughs on youtube and twitch, and have never seen anyone not find Ranni there. It's weird, Achenar is very methodical and into the lore - but as other's have said, his bouncing around multiple zones all the time and not finishing what he can finish and putting certain things off until way later than the game was hinting at is wreaking havoc on his quests. And frankly, I'm still shocked he killed Patches instantly with no second thoughts. I wonder if it's even occurred to him that he locked himself out of further quests and even an oft-used armor set.
A little nudge if you're interested: Three Sisters, the Tower, Rennala's Chest, and other items will all be available once you explore thoroughly 🔽 ...... Caelid
POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING this is very very weird that you don't find ANYONE at Ranni's Rise. I have seen countless play through and never met a case like this one. As some other comments said, it is probably because you triggered the fight with Radhan too early. Congratulation on breaking the narrative progression intended by the devs !! You are supposed to finish Liurnia before facing Radhan. And it is, by all means, a major quest line.
Spoiler: It's cause Blaidd is "stuck" at the festival, so the Ranni questline is somewhat in limbo. I think most people makes it a bit of a priority to finish Radahn, even if they can't beat him the first time they try.
Ranni's Rise progression (aka you have bugged it due to your game progression choices ) spoiler....... You need to defeat Radahn to restore progression to this questline. Fyi.....This questline will play out differently now, but there is no way to know this without playing game progression differently.

Welp, I learned something new this episode. The beauty of a blind run.

Yes, and he has already defeated Radahn. So this is an NPC aggro issue which could be very confusing.
