It’s in the installation instruction manual and I’m not sure where it is. Either the installer trashed it, kept it or gave it to me and I filed it but I couldn’t find it. Also it says the installer should have put the QR code at the breaker switch but it wasn’t there either…
how you get the tesla wall connector password if you do not have the instruction book, do I have to open the wall connector, that is what tesla suoort told me. Can you explain for an elderly who is not that much advanced with internet.
Yes, the app tracks the charging history for both house and super charging. The home charging cost will show estimated costs considering it doesn’t know your kWh rate. For example I charge only at night while charging at home which I have Free nights from my electric provider meaning I don’t pay to charge over night but the app will show it cost me $1-$3 to charge over night. You can change the charge rate straight from the app or in the Tesla under “charging.”
I’m not sure only because I’ve never tried it and only have one Tesla. That’s a great question that I’m going to research my self. Thanks for asking and bringing it up!
Yes. Look for "Access Control" in the settings of the Tesla app and you can manage which Teslas or non Teslas have access to that charger in order to charge.
I requested it through the Tesla app but under the wall connector side. You have to scroll to the right. After you make the request they reach out to you via email.
Nice sir..👌
Thanks! Now I just need to get my garage painted and looking nice like yours
That was actually very helpful as the pamphlet does not state to Add Product via the Tesla app. Thank you!
Thanks Steve! I also was researching every where for help. I appreciate the positive feedback!!
Very helpful! Thank you so much!!
No problem! Thanks for watching!!!
I would like to know how I can change the output amperage once it is set in the wall connector app. Thanks
Through your Tesla app
Thank you for the video. Just curious, why you don’t have the QR code?

It’s also inside the connector itself. Password and User Id as well as
The QR code is on the side of the wall charger

I had to go on my Tesla app and make a ticket and then they emailed me instructions on next steps
Inside the wall connector is the QR code, if your QuickStart guide, printed code is lost
Bro, thank you so much!
Does the app track charging history with cost? Also are you able to dynamically change the charge rate without resetting?

Is it possible to block the charger from the app side if someone plugs my charging cable into his car?

How did you get the password? I lost my booklet too 😢
I requested it through the Tesla app but under the wall connector side. You have to scroll to the right. After you make the request they reach out to you via email.
It’s also inside the front cover of the wall connector
