It's funny now I want one of these Q guns and big respect for their approach but also really like what PSA is doing making something anyone can afford as well as they can. I could get 6+ ARs from PSA for what one Q would cost. And depending on your needs both options could be good choices. It's so cool having companies pushing to do both ends of the spectrum as well as they can.
Till it has issues, I’ve always been a buy once cry once. No need to buy something just because it’s cheap especially on firearms

I know some ppl may not like Kevin for one reason or another but I've always been impressed how blunt and straightforward he is. I've always been a fan of Kevin and Q products. It's cool to see some of the inner workings and what goes into building Q products, magic ain't cheap! It's obvious Jason is nerding out big time

Not going to lie when I saw it was 3hrs I was like nah fck that. Buuuuuuut I have to say I’ve never honestly been more into a 3hr video or any video for that matter than I was this one. The freaking genius that is Q is mind blowing!! They are true masters of their craft and I was so into each and every aspect of their craft. Just awesome to see this high level of detail and I’m very excited for what they have for us in the future. Although I probably won’t ever be able to afford any of these products lol. It took me days to find time to finish this whole video, Great Watch! Kevin, his Engineers and Production team all know how to innovate and make some of the best firearms on the market. Classic Firearms hit it out of the park with this video.
While I was working at a gun store we had a guy who owns an F/A MP5 come in with his new Q supressor. He said that Q told him to try to destroy the suppressor. After a couple mags he had a couple baffle strikes due to the suppressor not being aligned properly, but when he got the replacement, he spent 4 hours mag dumping trying to break it again and he could not

Y’all gunna choke on dr Kevin’s root juice.Seriously Kevin does some innovative things.When honest reviews are less than ideal accuracy and shoot ability.only first hand experience I have with Q products are suppressors and wasn’t overwhelmed. Admittedly compared to tbac ultra7 .Really seemed no better than yhm,I guess lighter and better mount with conical shoulder.Q problem is Kevin’s lack of humble pie and the fact is they don’t deliver quite like they think they do.That being said they do some impressive stuff
My aero build with a B.A. barrel has a standard gas block (non adjusting) has no issues firing super or subs, suppressed and un-suppressed. 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Sounds like an invitation for an owner to do a meltdown. How comes there's no meltdown or torture test of Q's stuff? Kinda odd when they talk about how good it is/everything else sucks.

With a company like DD making CHF CL barrels that I can shoot 1/2 moa with after 5,000 rnds it’s hard for me to switch. But I’ll be damned if Q doesn’t make a nice and aesthetic shooter straight from the factory. All it needs is a T2, light and sling and your pretty much done.
My Q El Camino is the best purchase I ever made. 4 day approval made it better. That lil rimfire can made me enjoy shooting again. Life had been crappin on me for years and the El Camino makes me smile every time I use it and I can enjoy life again.
Hopefully, we can get it to a zero day approval. It should be treated no differently than buying a magazine or a stock if you already have the gun to attaches to.

I actually love this guy. He’s a straight shooter and really wants the best product. I’ve passed on Q in the past because I don’t know anyone that owns one I can test. But I think it’s time for me to find out what’s the hype myself

Excatly right on the HK and Taurus thing. I know Taurus is better now then when I was a kid but will never buy one again. Love Q its got that HK equity.

those are highly engineered mufflers. you could make them much easier and cruder, but these are masterwork. never seen baffles shaped like that. im used to them just being washers spaced with tube steel inside a steel tube with maybe some rubber baffles added to help make it a lil quieter.

Well Kevin wasn't wrong about the forward assist, army ditched it and it isn't a requirement for military contracts anymore.

Make your trigger shoe wider, and I'll buy several. The Larue literally has the best trigger shoe on the market with their Longbow design, which is why I run them almost exclusively.

All this Q stuff going around, but I've yet to see anything Q actually in the wild anywhere. My local store was just recently listed as a "Top Shelf" dealer.
I don't know where all these Q owners are, but they certainly won't be shooting barrels out anytime soon.
Plenty in the greater Nashville area. I can walk you in to 4 shops that have Q products on the shelf now.

Yeah, what is the logic behind not having the Honey Badger SD upper available for people that have the HB SBR variant already? I don’t wanna have to spend another $3500 just to get the SD after already dropping $3000. I wouldve loved to have gotten the SD, but it was never in stock so now I’m in the awkward position of having to spend $3500 considering I already have a HB registered lower. Come on Kevin throw us a bone.
Daniel defense cold hammer forge their chambers also. They actually brag about having the same chamber dimensions all the time and to them the perfect chamber repeatably.
They have great accuracy and are one of the few CHF makers who also forge the chambers using the same mandril for the rifling.

You know, I will be honest. I used to dislike Kevin. I thought he was a pompous ass that thought he was God's gift to the industry.
Now, not at all. This is also me working in the firearms industry for over 2 years in QC, arriving to this concclusion. I now think of him as someone who has been in the industry for over 20 years, with a ton of experience and knowledge that has made him/molded him into the person he is. The industry is full of grifters, leeches, apologists and just interesting people to say the least. I now have a lot of respect for Kevin and what they are doing at Q.
After watching these past few videos I’m most likely gonna do a sugar weasel as my first AR. I’m not looking for nothing super fancy but these look sick and I’ve seen some positive reviews of them.
Glad you’re getting an AR. Congrats. Not sure you need a top 1 percent AR to get started. But if you got it, get it. Myself, I have no need for a 3-4K rifle. Would much rather have 2-3 BCM rifles than a Q rifle. As a civilian, I don’t need a Bugatti of a rifle. I would rather have 2-3 Mercedes rifles.

Since you don’t have to upgrade any parts it’s the best deal for an AR, especially if you plan on getting a silencer later

I built my first AR about 10 years ago with a Proof 24” 6.5 barrel and it shot sub 1/4 MOA and I’m a novice shooter. A better shooter and gunsmith could make it shoot 0.1” MOA I bet.

How about doing the best side by side/ over under survival gun in like 30-06 over 20 gage.
Or 243 or maybe 7-30 waters over 410 that also shoots 444 magnum, for example.
P.s. while your at it make a 45 caliber muzzle loader with electronic ignition instead of a percussion cap of any kind.

I like the idea of .300blk, but just like Kevin said, point of failure, when you've got a 5.56 gun, personally, or on a team, that .300blk will chamber in a 5.56. That was a huge mistake! Would it be so hard, to make sure they don't close on a 5.56 chamber? Especially if a team is sharing mags, never understood why they did this.
