I finally got mine after a long time of reviewing this product. Imma have it professionally installed along with an arsenal of LED lights , switch box and power inverter And coming soon starlight.
Forgive me for saying this but its intentional purpose was for braking and signaling. Why have it look like you riding the brakes? Oh well. Looks nice tho.
I assume its better to connect it to a constant power bc you can have the locking n unlocking car light function rather than have it on only when you turn your car lights on, which i have a trouble to install. Do you know why it turns off when i start my car?😢
Ok so you showed us the installation but didnt show us the function of the lighting, bravooo thats the way to go..Is it usable as a straight stop light without any other flashes?i want to know if this item can be used as a stop light that is if it gives the red light when you step on the brake without any other flashes..
Well there's many ways you can install it, but the lighting will vary depending on how you want it light up. In summary, its a red brake light. We appreciate your feedback tho! ;)
You can trim on the other ends that doesn't come from the wires are connected. Feel free to email our support team for installation assistance via email - support@opt-7.com

So after cutting or trimming do I need to reseal or anything before capping back on the end ?
Yes, you will need to take the end cap and reseal the led strip.
I can't get the colors to work and the turn signals either don't work

Should of rooted that wire behind, not to the side. Looks cool.
Thanks for the recommendation!
hello friend, are the leds good? I mean durability, they say it burns easily in a short time... what does durability measure?
The complete right side of mine burnt completely out in a week. So frustrating
