@@ShinyFastLoud Thank you very much. I have one more question. I used double sided tape but, i think that some windshield adhesive would be better. What do you think?
@@angelchiscop6351 The double sided tape has been more than adequate. This is the second winter the car has experienced (literally -4F degrees over the weekend) as well as triple digit temps over the summer......the double sided tape is still holing without any issues.
I want to ask you a favor, in Mexico this model is called Volkswagen Bora, but it bothers me that being a Jetta they don't call it as such, for marketing reasons, okay, the favor is that, if you can provide me with the measurements of the Jetta lyrics? , I mean the Jetta emblem on the trunk please
Interesting, in Europe Bora was the previous model as a cheaper alternative to VW Passat and since about 2004 is no longer produced. Jetta is the following model.
- I think it fits your VW really nice! 👌🏻
Thank you
looks really good! i would use some masking tape or pinstriping tape to mark where the spoiler and trunk lid mate up
good suggestion
If you soak the spoiler in hot water for 15-30 minutes it will uncoil and return to its original shape easily.
great info
Thanks for the tip 👍
Thanks
Sure?
My initial thought was exactly the same as yours, there's a spoiler iin that p[ackage?!? Looks great
Thanks!
Nice video. Looks good. Matt want to do a sound check tho. Intro and outro music was deafening compared to phone off speaking
Will do, thank you for the feedback.
Nice benchmade 940!
Thanks!
was going to do it, but do not have the patience for it to relax and put on the tape myself!!!!! ugh so hard...
Its really not that bad
thanks for this i was looking into buying it
Glad I could help
I just bought one but it's very rigid and it seems it can't follow the shape of the trunk
warming mine up is what seemed to help it become more flexible.

so....how's the wing holding up ? please update us. I wanted to buy it but just want to know if it holds up in the cold and warm. thx
Absolutely rock solid. Car is not garaged so it just spent all winter in the ice and cold…..no issues at all.
I was about to get this too looked way different on the pictures
whenever buying anything off email I always look at the dimensions of the item.....the photos tend to make things look bigger than they actually are

Looking into getting thisb

That’s so bad ass!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
glad you like it
after a year how its holding?
Absolutely fine
Is it still on the car....I want to get one, but hesitant.
still on......no problems
These cars come with a stock spoiler atleast mine did love the content.
Mine did not
They definitely do not come with stock spoilers
@@keatohenko some did
Mine did. But I have the Wolfsburg Edition.
what's the size of the spoiler and trunk width?
spoiler is advertised as 115mm wide....I will measure the trunk lid
i was about to order mine i am sold 350z i would let mine lay in the sun for a while
Hi, Very sporty, does the tape spoil the car paint if removed in the future?
typically it does not damage the paint when removed.
@@ShinyFastLoud Thanks
look cool in white car, maybe i buy one..
Go for it.
Do you have a link for this?

And if it survives?
It has been on for two years without any issues.
I just have a issue with the (3m) tape and heat from sun. Trunk get so hot my spoiler just creeps loose. Anybody get any suggestions?
I haven't had that issue and it has literally been nearly 100 degrees here for the last two weeks. Maybe try a different tape (specifically 3M)
Just buy double sided gorilla tape I never had issues
Did it hold up?
Yes, still going strong
LINK?
You need a bigger knife to open those bags
Also, you might want to consider using CLAMPS.
It is a Benchmade 940-1 Osborne.......highly recommended.

This doesn’t look stable .. at a high speed I don’t know
It has been on for two years without any issues at any speed. Also no issues with the summer heat and winter ice and cold.
uses car trunk as work table - gag AND it takes 24 hours for that tape to cure. rookie
Its been on for 2 years so the tape cured just fine.
33 bucks
I think I paid $44
@@ShinyFastLoud I think I got the one with space in between the spoiler
@@ShinyFastLoud Where air gaps
@@petermuniz9296 how does it fit , how do you like it
@@007cartoo it doesn’t fit :( I trash it I had to get a 45” one
