I just finished installing the angled charging handle. I was impressed how tight the new handle fits.

I just replaced my original charging handle with a red one from UBI. It is much more comfortable and looks great! Now I need the red trigger and red safety selector. I hope they are in stock soon!

Is the recoil spring have a slight bend in it. My is brand new and it look bent.

The recoil springs do have a small amount of pre-load on them when installed onto the recoil rod (assembly). Maybe this is what you are seeing? The recoil rod OD is smaller than the recoil spring ID; this means that when the recoil spring is compressed it will push off center, and might look bent or deformed? Regardless, totally normal :-)

I thought you were going to swap it to the other side? 😏

I wish someone would make something so you could have a charging handle on BOTH sides, instead of just one side at a time. THEN it would be fully ambidextrous instead of almost. (Product idea!)
