Eddy spent so much time working with Jin to save his master that his master actually dies and Eddy shows up to his masters funeral where Christie slaps Eddy for not being there when their master passed. Each of the characters have bits of lore which is pretty cool. Also idk if it’s legit but in T7 Nina wears a wedding dress and Anna wears a black dress looking like a widow so some ppl think Anna found love and was going to get married but Nina being Nina killed Anna’s fiance.
Atleast When Xiaoyu and Jin have Kids/a kid they will have somewhat Normal relationship with the parents..Though they will have a lot of weird Cousins/Uncles out there and Grandpa(Kazuya) prob will still be coming back to face them

I wouldn't really say so sure he is the protagonist in tekken 6 but first of all he isn't the main character in 7 and 8 and the series focuses more on Jin than Lars

But Lars being the true hero of the Tekken series is pretty farfetched. There really is no true hero the franchise is morally grey
Jin in tekken 6 was just a real life trolly problem. He just made the decision to pull the lever so the trolly killed 5 people instead of 100. I don’t think that disqualifies you from a hero, he’s just a hero in a morally questionable situation.

Tekken’s lore is very stupid, but that’s why you never really take it seriously aside from some moments where they are trying to be serious. The endings of 7 & 8’s stories were definitely done with much thought and care put into them. Nice you decided to get to know the lore a little bit better and I hope you have a lot more fun with Tekken from here on out ❤️🔥
