The class 13 has been recovered. It's restoration was quick. It now serves as a switcher. Welcome to the Gustavtime Corporation United Kingdom subsidiary fleet BR class 13
if you do manage to find another steam engine in the UK or go looking for one, please paint it into your business's paint scheme it your engine once you rescue and restore it after all! also, can you show the paint removal and reconstruction parts like you used too?
Sadly non of the BR Class 13's survived to be preserved and where all scrapped by the turn of the early and mid 1980s. Although it is possible to use a BR Class 08 as their are rabbits of them so it could be possible to make a new build or a replica of one on a heritage railway but who knows since at the moment New Build Diesel Projects havent' yet begun yet with only fewer in the UK like the LMS 10000 at Ivatt Diesel Recreation Group. The Baby Deltic Group making a new member D5910 a BR Class 23. and their is also plans to make a new build BR Class 22 known as 6358 I think it is. and they're was a group supposed to make a new build or Replica Class 21 or 29 but I haven't seen that occur yet but they're was a plan to make a D6332 project but I doubt it's happening now. But they should make a New Build or a Replica of a North British Warship BR Class 41 an weather D600 Active or D601 Ark Royal be a nice one to build. And they might have been talks about making a new build replica of a HST Prototype BR Class 41 partner of 41001 at NRM Collection being 41002, A replica of a Warship BR Class 43 would be nice one being D837 Ramillies would be nice or the D841 Roebuck. But most of the prototypes that didn't get saved they need to make replicas like the Southern Electrics and that.
Trains in the uk only honk twice not like Americans like driving on the right and sounding there horn at level crossings they mainly drive on the left and use there horn at horn signs do you get it now
Surprising you were able to pull this off considering that engine had basically little function in the sense of it actually operating they were only made for short distances and that’s why in the video when you found it I said it could be used as a battery switcher or diesel switcher for your shops like the other class 08 and the green unit
Beautiful Restoration... Under the guidance of Mr. Gustave " The Magnificent " and the crew at the yard.. These dedicated employees should be given a hefty raise.... Absolutely!!!
BR Class 13 was really two Class 08s permanently coupled together for heavy shunting. The 08 that kept its cab was the "master" unit while the cabless one was the "slave" unit.

Looks like they sacrificed the Class 08 to the restoration
Now you need to recover the master unit, or convert an 08 to be a master unit.
The video shows that’s what they did.
Wow she looks beautiful ❤️ and I hope she helps having her to help with big trains or a big set would be nice amazing work as always well done 👍🏻

@@newobanproductions999couldn't have put it better myself.
Its essentially BR's take on the "cow-calf" American switcher setup.
