  • If you have any content on your site that hasn't been indexed by Google after a few weeks, it's time to take action. In this video, learn 6 things you should do to make sure you give your content the best chance of being indexed (and RANKED) in Google.
In case you missed the other two videos in this series, make sure you go back and catch them.
Why Google May Not Index Your Content: • Google Didn't Start In...
How to Know Which Content Is Indexed and Which Isn't: • Figure Out EXACTLY Wha...
I also said in the video that I'd give you a link to Cloudways hosting. I recently started building a site on Cloudways and the setup easy and their hosting is FAST. And what's even better, when I need a bit more bandwidth as my traffic grows, I can easily scale up. You only pay for what you use and there is no annual payment up front. This sounds like an ad, I know, but it's really just my impression of this awesome web host. Take a look if you want really fast hosting at a better price than most shared hosting out there: www.cloudways.com/en/vultr-ho... (Affiliate link - I do earn a commission if you use this link)

Hey Ricky! Great video. I realized today that 10 posts on my site aren't indexed wheras the next 10 are already indexed and some have even won the first result on the first SERP! All posts (and the actual blog) are about 5 months old. Same process, same quality. YMYL blog. Really weird.
My question is the following, I've just requested them to be manually indexed, and assuming they get indexed and Google start them on the process of ranking, should I expect their timer to start anew, with the usual 35 weeks to get the serious rankings and traffic, or does the actual 5 months that have already passed count into the timer and I can expect sooner serious traffic out of them? P.S. i use acabado and posts are by default without publish dates.
Sorry for the long comment, appreciate your time.

I've been requesting each blog post get indexed right after I publish it for a while now because I thought Google wasn't indexing my site regularly. I was really surprised the other day when I couldn't submit a new post for indexing and the next day went to try again and found that it had already been indexed! I've been interlinking, publishing frequently, and have about 100 posts on this one website, so I think all of those have helped.

I just use updraftplus bc it lets me upload my backup to my Google drive and lets me back up upon request so I can back up a few minutes before I do anything questionable.
Took me a while to transition to x theme. So every once in a while I’d activate x theme and play around with it, but then when I didn’t figure out as much as I needed I would just go back to generic bluehost theme. But every time I’d run an experiment I would back up.

I'm wondering if we have content that is getting traffic from other sources like social media but not from Google, that Google keeps the indexing for those. It seems to be the case for me. Some posts just do better on Pinterest, etc. than on Google search. What do you think?

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  2 роки тому +1

Yeah, If they’re getting social media traffic, they’re probably also getting some organic search traffic, even if it’s much less. I haven’t had a problem with social media driven content getting deindexed generally.

  • @FindingMyselfYoung

I'm having issues with GSC creating redirect errors and not indexing posts because blogger auto redirects from the mobile version to html so creates an error for the mobile bot. Apparently there's nothing I can do except wait an indefinite amount of time for the computer bot to crawl it instead of mobile bots {answer from Google}. What I don't understand is why it only happens to some blog posts and not others when blogger redirects every page from mobile to html if they're trying to index the html version. It's driving me mad especially when I spend ages creating good content and it just sits in error for months and apparently there's nothing I can do to fix it. I feel like reverting them all to draft and republishing to see if it does anything, but then all the existing links will be broken.

I found out that recipes is a highly competitive niche and not recommended a little too late -- I already poured a lot of money and time into making a REALLY nice keto recipe website. I mean, it looks better than some of the titans in my niche. But I also post big, beefy, informative articles and guides. I'm on track for 120 posts in Q1. Is that enough to start making $2000/mo within a year or do you think niching down to maybe something like only doing keto fat bomb recipes or only keto breakfast and brunch recipes is going to be necessary? I also feel it's important to mention my work ethic and motivation are extraordinarily above average and I am willing to pour blood sweat and tears into this for as long as I need to, I'd just like to replace my current income ASAP.

40 blogs? You are probably stretching yourself too much. If you are writing posts about 40 different topics, your content will probably be of very poor quality. Just focus on one site, then put all your effort into it to make and write the most helpful content you can. I have 3 successful sites, but I did not build them all at once. I build one site, then work on it till it's successful, then I build another. This has worked very WELL for me.

Probably you are not focusing content of the main keyword or keywords. Google also takes like 6 months to drive you some traffic. Sometimes faster.

High quality of content will only help on ranking, instead of indexing. Sitemap and Internal links and home page link help a little bit, which won't change much. Page speed wont help. Please don't mislead people.

That’s not correct. Google specifically states all of the factors I discussed in this video in their documentation.

Unfortunately, you didn't address real legitimate no indexing issues like "fonts too small" or "clickable images are too close together" etc.....I had expected more....You basically went over very easy and common sense stuff without addressing real issues in indexing and how to fix them. Kind of a waste of time. Especially since you used 3 videos to supposedly cover the indexing issues....

To be frank, all those you described ways are tested, but not use... I expected some of different ways to get it indexed in google from income school...

There is no silver bullet. You have to actually make good content.
Sure you could build links and trick Google into indexing garbage content, but it won’t last.

Once you have the initial hitlist down, how do you build out an outline for each topic to give to your writers?
