Being able to replay this game on my preferred platform is so nice and being able to play it in 1440p 120fps makes the art in this game shine in a whole new way

Last night, I was watching my cousin play through discord and I was so jealous of him to get to see it like this while I saw it in 720p at 30fps.
you can play it through pc game pass which costs like $1 the first month but you can cheat and get it for $1 every month if you subscribe, unsubscribe, resubscribe.

@@ruslanmamedaliyev3912 it’s the exact same game that released on PS4 in 2020 outside of Japan but they released it on PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch all at the same time last year.
The only difference is the quality. PC and PS5 are the best quality. The Nintendo Switch version is just a little worse than the original PS4 version.
I'm excited to go back through this game, this game kept my head above the water during the height of the pandemic. It will always be special to me

I played this game for the first time in April 2020 during lockdown on the recommendation from a close college friend and gamer bud as he is in to JRPGs. Saw him play through Madarame's castle and was convinced to get it.
A week later I was absolutely in love with the game. The soundtrack, the gameplay during castle infiltrations, and out of the spirit world made me fall in love with the game. Interactions with new characters and befriending them and increasing their bond seemed so purposeful and meaningful. My ps4 died on me when I had just got in the 4th castle, futabas castle I think and now that it's on PC I can't wait to start over. As someone who suffers from anxiety, overthinking and depression, this game made me feel absolutely tranquil numb to my mental ailments.

If I play Persona 5 Royal (PS4) on PS5 it's 4K, 30 FPS? Beside the 30 FPS upgrade in the PS5 version, are they any other benefits? Also, how are you OLED Switch users liking it?

I knew it that they would get PR5 on steam sooner or later after the hitbox PG4 did and finally we are there. Did they add anything to the steam version ? Doubt it , but would like to be sure. It's hard to find anything on google they keep mixing P5 and PR5.

Picked up this game on PC as soon as it came out, played Persona 5 on ps4 previously. Persona 5 Royal on PC elevates an already phenomenal game into the realms of pure epic escapism bliss. There isn't a game I can think of that is as engaging, that one can get totally lost in, and that even includes my previous favourites, The Witcher 3 and Elden Ring. I simply can't give this game more praise than this. It is simply the best game I have ever played. As a video game it hits all the right spots, 1. Fun to play (extremely). 2. Good gameplay (best battle system of any RPG I have played, acquiring and capturing of so many new personas, even fusing of Personas, epic system of levelling up via battles and through personal growth / learning in day to day life and through bonds with other characters 3. Good story (Epic story) 4. Engaging (takes you out of this world.. you won't want to leave and you won't want it to end) 5. interesting characters (you will be smitten) 6. Good graphics (like playing an anime.. especially on pc) 7. Good sound/music (outstanding sound track, voice acting and effects) 8. Emotional involvement (will play with your emotions and heart strings like a puppet.. and you will love it). You will play for many, many, many hours but you still won't want it to end. When it finally does end you will feel sad but you will also be left with wonderful memories.. and a yearning to return to play through again (which you definitely will, more than a few times). The best advise I can give you is to stop reading and play this masterpiece of interactive entertainment right now. The only game I can imagine that can top this will most likely be the next Persona. Even if you don't like role playing games this game is just to good for anyone to pass up.
I am looking to try it as I noticed it on sale on steam. I am confused though.. there is strikers and royal? strikers is 30 does that give u base persona5? i just want to play the original game

Im so excited to play this. I’m just finishing up the MW2 campaign and then I have this downloaded on game pass, ready to go. I’m so hyped. I love anime and I’ve never played any of the Persona games. So happy we got this on pc

Playing at 60+ FPS is really nice. I played P4 Golden first at 120+ FPS/Hz when it came out on Steam and then going back and playing P3 and P5 at 30 FPS felt super noticeable.

P5R used to be exclusive to the PS4, but Sega/ATLUS recently re-released it for PC, Xbox, PS5, and Switch.

Playing 5 after the others is so jarring because of how different everything is, love the innovation it made. 4 is still my favourite but it’s very close.
After starting the game and playing for like 2h, i learned about your ps4 mod that restores all cut content to the game and now idk if i should wait for it to come to pc or not...3h of extra content sounds like a lot!

@@kandade4563 persona 5 royal had a bunch of cut content, from scenes to rooms in the palaces to music....i'd imagine its the same on PC

Everything here on this one is LITERALLY how it looks in Tokyo when I visited last December, like precisely! This game is faster with controller. It’s one of the games I like playing controller over keyboard and mouse.
And here i thought mods affected the face.. But they actually screwed up the face/w mask in battle lol in. Hopefully that gets fixed

I've been playing on switch where its still locked to 30 like PS4, though I'm planning on getting it on pc as well. Its actually so strange to see it running at anything higher than 30 given how smooth the game was already.

I've never played a Persona in my life. I liked Fire Emblem 3 Houses.. but mostly because of the Heroes Of Might and Magic-like combat system and the characters.
Whats so good about Persona? I get the feeling that most people that love this game grew up with the other games and nostalgia might be a factor.. and thats something I dont have at all.

I mean, do you want to play it with the best graphics available or do you want it to play wherever you go (during commute, in bed etc)? Switch has worse graphics than PC of course, but if you play it in handheld mode, the difference is negligible.

I thought i'd never play turned based jrpgs again. I tried to get into the pokemon games but i stopped playing them. This game and honkai star rail are top tier and recommend them to ppl who arent really into the genre.
