Yeah, true. I reminds me of the time when Yusuke just completely accepts the fact that Morgana can talk and that he sees no problem with it whatsoever. He's so chill lol.
He does say it's a "Gun shaped Evoker" too, meaning he might not know what those Evoker are but knows what a Evoker is used for, and thus derived the intention of them through his knowledge of the subcontextual, a Evoker is a way to summon a Persona, so for a Evoker to be a gun, would mean that it's meaning lies in accepting your mortality, since shooting your opponent won't summon your Persona.

@@andrewsanderson2348the idea of Joker ending up back in jail for some reason after the entirety of 5 was about clearing his name is so morbidly funny
I wouldn't be surprised. The PTs left a huge mark on the popular culture of Japan as seen in Scramble, unlike the other groups of Persona users. We're bound to have references to "thieves that stole hearts in Tokyo a few years ago".
@@andrewsanderson2348i like the idea of joker becoming a good version of shido. Politician joker, doing his evil ass smirk after stealing the heart of the public with a speech

So p3 takes place close to Tokyo and Port island is in Odaiba, also is interesting to know that Kirijo company is part of the top 3 companies in Japan in persona canon.
I remember one of the voice lines in Tartarus (in P3 Reload) was mentioning safe rooms from future Persona games. Something along the lines of Takeba: "I wish there was some safe place to rest while climbing Tartarus." Kirijo: "Yes, some kind of room where we could gather and recover would be excellent."
Yusuke being the only one to know how an Evoker works is oddly kinda apropos given that, when paired with Gekkoukan's uniform, he looks like an older, taller Minato. Wonder if PQ2 does anything with that. I hope a future game gives us a party member that attends one of the previous game's schools. Maybe their Social Link could take us there for a couple ranks to facilitate a cameo or two. Like if our party member went to Shujin, they could mention offhand how one of the school's most popular teachers is a homeroom/Japanese language teacher named Kawakami. Wouldn't be the first time we visited a prior game's school, and besides, the P4 trip to Gekkoukan didn't even show us Toriumi so it was a complete fuckin' waste of time.
Don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but in Persona 5 Strikers when the Thieves visit Kyoto towards the end they stay in the same inn as in Persona 3, with a reference to the hot springs scene from Persona 3 in it as well

I've been told that two of the paintings in Madarame's Palace bear a resemblance to Yuki Makoto (the male P3 protagonist) and Yu Narukami (the P4 protagonist) respectively, but I've never been able to find them myself.
I can imagine Akihiko on the sideline watching akechi's moves closely and recommending ways on how to best fight it to Mitsuru but getting shunned by her 😂😂
im suprised that no one has picked up on the poster in the shibuya arcade that has aigis on it? i noticed it in royal and i'm not sure if its in vanilla
I haven’t really dove into the Epilogue of P3, since I’m waiting until September for the Reload version. But Yukari became a movie star, Sanada became a police enforcer, and Mitsuru became CEO of what sounds to be the Kojiro Group.. But what about the rest? Like Amada, Aigis, and Junpei? It would’ve been fun to see an older version of Amada as a party member, or to have Aigis encounter Ren.
it's funny some of those references are in vanilla p5 then changed in royal, considering how many persona 3 and 4 assets were in the game in older p5 builds
I was thinking about this recently, but since the Nyx avatar was never truly stopped, just sealed, wouldn't it be a great way to both tie up that loose end and give our boy Makoto a good ending? So a game or anime where Makoto, Ren and Yu gang up to deal with them in some way. If one wildcard was enough to prevent Nyx from destroying the world, would three of them plus their allies be enough to end that idea for good? I do wonder if Joker's sinful bullet thing would be able to disable Nyx, because it does say that it's strong enough to pierce even a god, and since Nyx can't die, it could maybe seal her in some way that doesn't require a sacrifice
I think there is one that you missed, but it's pretty vague if it is what I think it is. During Shinya's confidant in the background there are posters on the wall of the arcade for a movie that kinda look like a reference to the scene with Aigis and Ryoji on the moonlight bridge
The line that always confuses me is in Dancing in Moonlight where it is mention that Fuuka does come into contact with Futaba before, and I get why it wasn't ever mention in these unused lines but that connection would've been cool if it was considered canon(give that the P3/P5 aren't canon since somehow Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight would have to all take place at once. You know, about 7 years apart in the timeline).
The only thing I think you missed were all of the Neo Featherman stuff, whether it’s kids talking about it or the game for your console in game, but otherwise, yeah, I think you got them all.
I haven’t seen that much content from Persona 2, so I genuinely didn’t know, I thought that it was just a thing for Yukari because she’s always gets brought up too when they mention the show.
How the heck does Yosuke and only him know what an Evoker is and what is it used for? Nor why don't question why they have technology to summon Personas in that school?
well, if tatsumi port island and gekkoukan based on odaiba and some area around it, it kinda weird that the kirijo group and shadow operatives didn't react when such a large scale shadow-related disaster happened in the middle of the tokyo
Well, incidents involving shadows tend to very so it can't be held. That Tokyo was unreally on the radar. Considering it's not that easy to get into the collective unconscious.
Katsuya getting mentioned on the TV is the only canonicity we’ll be getting from altus, isn’t it, especially since persona 1 and 2 school outfits aren’t dlc in reload
I think the thing I really liked about P4 is they straight up went to P3’s school and showed some characters and music from that game it really made the games feel connected in that sense when I was seeing familiar areas and faces. While I like P5 it certainly feels more disconnected. I wish they kinda did that with idk maybe going to Inaba for some reason in the story, other than some TV mentions of some characters or needing to pay DLC for unused tidbits. It was cool to see Rise at least in the poster. But then again, Inaba is always described as a middle of nowhere small place so it wouldn’t really make sense for the P5 cast to go there unless it became something bigger cuz of Marie.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you meet Tae Takemi at her workplace in Persona 5 (at least in Royal), can't you lie yo her saying that you have apathy or something?
Sad part is even if they try to include references to other games in Persona 3 Reloaded they can't because the characters in later games would be too young to do anything with maybe an exception to older characters
tbf, Yukiko was in P3P female route, and the weird female teacher was in both routes, she was removed from P3R though there could have been references to Haru and Makoto, or at least their families, they are supposed to be around Ken's age though, if they ever feel like confirming when P5 is set
A lot of P5 fans were new to the series. Maybe they removed it since it won’t do anything for them. They kept some things, like the P1-2 references. But I imagine trying to cut out the explicit stuff or potential spoilers would be for them.
@@ma.2089A lot of speculation was being thrown around at that time due to the dancing games launching and the director stating the team had to build the P3 assets from the ground up. In that interview he stated "how it would be such a shame if they weren't used in a remake of P3 or something." At that point Atlus was hinting things for their anniversary celebration including new titles...many began speculation about a P3 Remake. im suprised that no one has picked up on the poster in the shibuya arcade that has aigis on it? i noticed it in royal and i'm not sure if its in vanilla
In p5s she also has one for wiping all out. She talks about almost every game lol
well now we need to give Ryoji a top hat now due to the snowmen
I forget, but isn’t there 13 of those snowmen around? (Death is the 13th arcana)
Looking back at the Pyro Jack one, I see why that went over my head now.
Now, I await the opposite for P3R.
Young Ryuji: OH ARE YOU FOR REAL?!
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax answers almost all of your questions.
@@JRPGLOVER Is it canon?
it's funny some of those references are in vanilla p5 then changed in royal, considering how many persona 3 and 4 assets were in the game in older p5 builds
Aigis's voice actor is the English voice for the ticket machines. Not sure it counts, but pretty cool
The bubbly hills, pyro jack, no more what ifs and power ranger yukari, akihiko are the ones i've seen.
The ryoji snowmen are so cute
"Frosty the snow-man is a delight to be seen, but it is the Arcana that gives you the right to be delighted in the first place." - Ryoji maybe
Pretty sure “What’s going on” in p5 is a remix of “afternoon break” in p3
Ooh, if we get another crossover akin to p4u in story, I’d like to see Chie being the cop who becomes akihiko’s partner
I think there is one that you missed, but it's pretty vague if it is what I think it is. During Shinya's confidant in the background there are posters on the wall of the arcade for a movie that kinda look like a reference to the scene with Aigis and Ryoji on the moonlight bridge
nah, incredible, both games are beautiful
The line that always confuses me is in Dancing in Moonlight where it is mention that Fuuka does come into contact with Futaba before, and I get why it wasn't ever mention in these unused lines but that connection would've been cool if it was considered canon(give that the P3/P5 aren't canon since somehow Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight would have to all take place at once. You know, about 7 years apart in the timeline).
Yo we gonna see the Wild Duck Burger chef with the nude selfie in P3 Reload!?
Lmao no. Persona 3 takes place in 2009, Persona 5 in 2016
@@FazPersona before he gets fired?
@@Riolu1209 hell nah, she might not even graduate yet. u into minors bruv?
Everyone not understanding the Evoker and SEES band
Meanwhile Yusuke, The Man of Culture:
The only thing I think you missed were all of the Neo Featherman stuff, whether it’s kids talking about it or the game for your console in game, but otherwise, yeah, I think you got them all.
wasn't Neo Featherman a thing that started with Persona 2?
@@FazPersona It is! It's even a main plot point in the first part of the Persona 2 duology
I haven’t seen that much content from Persona 2, so I genuinely didn’t know, I thought that it was just a thing for Yukari because she’s always gets brought up too when they mention the show.
@@thunderstrand it's okay, don't worry about It ^^
I was today years old when I learned you can use network during classroom answers lol
How the heck does Yosuke and only him know what an Evoker is and what is it used for? Nor why don't question why they have technology to summon Personas in that school?
Yusuke knowing abt P3 is so meta because his JPN VA(Sugita Tomokazu) also likes to reference other anime franchises 🤣🤣
Haru: You changed!
Aragaki: You haven’t changed
well, if tatsumi port island and gekkoukan based on odaiba and some area around it, it kinda weird that the kirijo group and shadow operatives didn't react when such a large scale shadow-related disaster happened in the middle of the tokyo
Idk if you know this. If you wear the SEES outfit in Persona 5 Royal it will always play Mass Destruction
snowman like ryoji and the hat like nix avatar
1:44 that would be impressive if the restaurant wasn't actually called wilduck and not wild duck
one refrence is that you can have orpheus as a persona im pretty sure
I know it's obvious but wearing the Gekkoukan outfit causes the music to change to the battle theme song from "P3".
You have to wear it with the whole team or just Joker?
@@PowellPeterjust Joker has to be wearing it
Yusuke: Would I have to cut myself in half to summon my Persona?
Ren: Yusuke, no!
BUBBLY HILLS THATS WHERE I WANT TO BE! ROLLING LIKE TANAKA’S AMAZING COMMODITIES
why the removal of p3 text references in royal? The heck atlus
Is there unique custom dialogue for St. Hermelin or Seven Sisters High School?
Can't wait for the p4 references run down
P5R having the option of Soul Mate seems like they're telling the player to romance Elizabeth if they decide to play Persona 3 in the future.
My girl Yukari becoming a tokusatsu actor is definitely unexpected. Good for her tho, get that bread and burn it
Done and dusted.
Do you think you can also do a P4 reference video too?
thats the plan!
I forget but isn’t the pink alligator from akinaris story mentioned as well?
So Persona 3 takes place in Odaiba? I never knew that!
7:53 what timing from Futaba
That's a some of Persona 3 reference.
Im confused how Yukari is still in college if P3 is set in 2009 because i thought persona 5 was 2016
Nice!!
Dorms with the phantom thieves woulda been dope af a den of thieves
Sad part is even if they try to include references to other games in Persona 3 Reloaded they can't because the characters in later games would be too young to do anything with maybe an exception to older characters
tbf, Yukiko was in P3P female route, and the weird female teacher was in both routes, she was removed from P3R though
there could have been references to Haru and Makoto, or at least their families, they are supposed to be around Ken's age though, if they ever feel like confirming when P5 is set
i’m curious why they took so many of these out in royal
A lot of P5 fans were new to the series. Maybe they removed it since it won’t do anything for them. They kept some things, like the P1-2 references. But I imagine trying to cut out the explicit stuff or potential spoilers would be for them.
@@ma.2089A lot of speculation was being thrown around at that time due to the dancing games launching and the director stating the team had to build the P3 assets from the ground up. In that interview he stated "how it would be such a shame if they weren't used in a remake of P3 or something."
At that point Atlus was hinting things for their anniversary celebration including new titles...many began speculation about a P3 Remake. Probably took out references to not distract from other releases.
I thought the one about akihiko referenced katsuya because it mentioned the red sunglasses that katsuya has
