Yay, Episode 2. This is going to be an epic build. Im looking forward to episode 3 but no pressure 😁 I'll have to drop in again when im over youe way again.
When thinking about the box layout, have you considered turning it around (slope at the rear)? If you have a large roof rack or storage box over the cab it won't make much difference to the aerodynamics. On my RB44 build I'm considering doing that, with a wind deflector/storage box over the cab. Being a bit of a geek I ran some CFD analyses on both slope at the front with no wind deflector and slope at the back with wind deflector. Slope at the back actually came out slightly better. In my case I want the bed at the rear so having reduced headroom over the back is less of a problem than having it at the front.
I have considered it and still thinking on layout. Probably the hardest part for me. Currently thinking about chopping holes in it and extending 2ft or so but nothing set in stone yet 👍
Honestly try picking up a can of Bulldog BDX. It’s an all in one lubricant and penetrant. Makes rusty bolts and things succumb with a little spray and soak. I bet those tipper rails weighed a fair amount.
@@projectzip Will look that up! We used a product called PB Blaster, but even a good long soak in plenty of that did not help. Tipper rails were seriously heavy. Even the chopped up sections were hard to lift…
Nice video and soothing voiceover. Concentration face is hilarious!
You will defo see more of that stupidity 😂
