I'm seeing this 3 years later. But since I am about to buy the BB skates, I wanted to see what you had to say. The thing that made me decide to get these, is the longer space between the front and back wheels. To me, it was exactly what I am looking for to help me feel more stable and secure. I currently have crap skates, and haven't progressed in the four months I've had them. So I am upgrading to these in the hopes I can finally start skating!
I did the same with impulse buying beach bunny and not wanting to upgrade because i just spent a lot to start skating. I had my skates for a week too but i havent taken these out yet since im waiting for my padding

That marvel plate has saved a lot of injuries. You might get tired as you will eventually feel them to be slow. That is O K.

Washers are usually just used to distribute the stresses caused by tightened hardware, it's not really going to cause much issue.

if you want music you can google copyright-free music and find sites that hand out a bunch of stuff for free or paid for, I had to use them a lot for making showreels and animations in university. You can type in keywords or select genres, pop punk is a good start for skating but I used to use electro-pop for my animations since I made cutsey sparkely magical girl crap!

Thats so funny that you don’t like the Sure Grips plate cause I love the smallness of the plate and at first it was weird feeling tippy but now I love it and i feel like I have more control. I think I commented on your other vid last week that my husband was getting me the tan Sure Grips for xmas and he did lol. So now I have those and the Golden Hours from Sure Grips.
Where did you get your beach bunnies? I ordered mine off of the Moxi website and I have to wait until October.
Queen Kahwanna Nashan I ordered mine from Wicked Skatewear. There is a handful of skate shops that don’t take pre-orders so when they say they have them in stock they ship immediately! Here are the shops that I know of that do this for the beach bunnies:
1. Wicked Skatewear
2. Roller skate Nation
3. Fritzy’s Skate Shop
4. Pigeon’s Skate Shop

I ordered off moxi site and got the watermelon beach bunnies too and they’re yet to come despite us being in October already. I’m impatiently waiting lol so I’ll just live vicariously thru you and your reviews lol

Did you find the beach bunny’s much narrower compared to the boardwalks. That’s the real pull toward getting. Board walks over bunnies is many say they fit a slightly wider foot better
Personally I found the bunnies much more comfortable but everyone’s foot is different. Boardwalks do have more flexibility since they are suede.

Nut is supposed to go inside the toe cap. The contact of the toe cap with the plate can cause damage to the plate ... at least I saw that in the videos of the Moxi girls.

I got these for my birthday last week and they felt good except the metal eyelets were digging into the top of foot. They don't feel tight on the sides of feet or my toes, just like metal is digging onto the top my foot. Have you had experience with that? Does it go away once they break in?
I honestly can’t say I felt that sensation. But I have seen helpful ways to lace skates to alleviate stuff like that! Maybe google can help?

Would you recommend getting the Moxi beach bunnies or the impala skates ?
It depends on what you are doing and your budget. From what you said it seems like you would be ok with the price of either, and in that case get the moxis. Impalas were my first skates, the holographic ones, and the heels ripped within a month. I had to sacrifice afterwards and use my savings to buy moxis and they haven’t broken since.
Personally I would go with the bunnies it cost isn’t a concern! Impalas just don’t offer the same longevity.

I have boardwalk and i was thinking of getting the bunnys . the only thing that stopped me was that the bunnys look uncomfortable. the boardwalks are suede. can you do transitions better on the bunnys?
Honestly for me I feel like the padding inside the bunny makes them more comfortable than the boardwalks! I can’t speak to the transitioning on the boardwalks because I rehomed them before I learned how.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just got the beach bunnies in size 7, and they do feel very different compared to the boardwalks. I feel way more stable! 😍 The fit was perfect! Thank you for making videos like this!
