I realize I'm a little late to this party, but I have thin, fine, limp hair and two of my favorite texture products are the Healium5 FibreFlex and Joico Hair Shake Liquid to Powder Texturizer. I use the Joico the most often because when I put it on right after washing and drying, I can go 3 to 4 days before I have to wash again without having to put in any more product. The super nice thing about the FibreFlex is that all of Healium5 products have a sunscreen and that is great protection if you are outside a lot during the day.
After watching all your other videos, I went and purchased all the Aveda styling products you recommended. They work excellent on my fine/thin hair especially when I copy the hairstyling visuals in your video. Thank you for that. Now I'll be tracking down these texturizing sprays too. Why do I spend my precious time to watch your videos and literally take action on your "teachings"? Because of your advice and expertise about hair wasn't a waste of my time. You go, girl!
Another note: My hair is very similar to yours, although I don't have the same style. That's how I knew to keep watching your videos because on faith I knew this would work for me. Your makeup looks great on you, too so I can see why so many want more information and how to videos to achieve that look. You're inspiring others. Again, you go, girl!
I LOVE the Kristen Ess Dry Finish working texture spray on my midshaft to ends and the Living Proof Full dry volume blast at my roots. I have very fine hair that gets weighed down easily. These products add texture, volume, grip, and a little hold. The KE product is a great price and I love the smell.
I'll have to try your favorite, I've been using the moroccanoil dry texture spray for the last few years and really like it, but want to see how that Kevin Murphy one compares. Love your videos, you are so cute! Love your hair!
You’re so great, hello from Australia 😊 I was wondering if you could do a ‘day 2 hair’ tutorial to show how you revive your hair after doing the initial backcombing and curling/straightening on day 1? 🙏🤞 Hope you’re having a great day x Jess
$42.00 for Texture spray is crazy especially if you do your hair daily. I have been enjoying the Aveda products I ordered some through your links and I love them. I think companies over price their hair products way more than they should. I love your videos and you are absolutely beautiful! CHI makes a texturing spray that works great and you can get it at TJ Max. ;)
Thank you for talking about what texture MEANS to you! People have such varied definitions but I'm definitely looking for what you described so I'm excited to try these out! Thanks!
Love your video's....can you do a video on Drug Store products that work for texture, embarrassed to say but all these are a little too much for me at this time in my life but I still love beautiful hair...HELP...lol....Love to all...Kim
I've had success with loreal dry shampoo for texture, volume, & if you spray post wash, rather than waiting for a build-e sup, you can skip one shower too! It's price is on point, never seen it over 10.00 a bottle
It's the expensive products I need to see. I'm happy to pick up drugstore everytime I do my monthly shop and if it's no good no big deal I only wasted 3 dollars 😊
I absolutely love your channel! Would you make a video of the hair products you used for the Dyson? I absolutely loved the way your hair looked. I want to buy all the products you used to get that voluminous hairstyle.
As someone with long, thick/heavy hair in layers, finding a texture spray is a big deal. Oribe is always suggested but all it does it make my hair smell good and then go limp/greasy. You're absolutely right that there is NO hold with that product. My friend with super short hair loves it so I pass any travel sizes/gift set items I receive of it to her. The Kevin Murphy one I haven't tried so we'll see. Last, I'm finding that the best hold and texture so far is coming from my dry shampoo: IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo. Go figure! Lol.
Keven Murphy makes great products. I haven't tried this particular one, but I'm going to give it a try. I liked the way it did when you sprayed it. This was terrific!!! Thank you so much for trying these. xoxox, Melissa
The first review I really liked. Finally, someone intelligent in the beauty community 🤪😉 Love your attention to nuance and your thinking girl, with no bs, to the point comments. Thank you SO MUCH!
I LOVE Kristen Ess products. I've tried all of them. The only one I didn't like was that stick balm thing. You should try all of her products and do a review of them...
Thanks for your honest reviews! I've been trying to decide what to use in my hair for texture and this helps so much. I also want to add that your hair is amazingly gorgeous!
I have this KM spray as well a many other Kevin Murphy products. They are awesome. Looove the Enhancing Shine Treatment. Thanks for the video Harmony and Rutger! 🤗
Love your videos! I would love for you to do a video on how to “revive” second day hair. My day 2 hair is down right scary😳 I have been sleeping on a satin pillow case too. Also, just started using Maskara make up this week. What colors are you wearing in this video? Thanks again for awesome videos!
I'm beyond happy that you did a review on this type of product!! I cannot find one that I like and the ones I buy usually don't smell good! And I hate that!! So, TYSM!!
What do you do with your hair at night when its time for bed? I'm continuously trying different methods of tying my hair up so it keeps for the next day. Maybe a video on how to touch up the next day hair.
me: listening intently, writing everything down on my notebook! Thanks for all that info! I'm always looking for the best texture spray to do my Bride's updos for their wedding. Love, from Montreal, Canada! xo
Hi there you’re one of my faves I would like to know how did you do your hairstyle that you have right now and I haven’t finished watching the video but so maybe you’re going to show me thank you
Hi! Melissa55 told us to watch you and I'm sooo glad! You've upped my hair game. Xo! P.S....Oribe passed away last year...( pr. OR-BAY) He was a great hairdresser to the stars. ❤
I recommended Amika but have since used the Oribe and love it so much more than Amika. I have also used the Ouai brand and love it too. So those two are my go-to texture sprays now.
Thank you for another great video! Your makeup looks beautiful, as usual. :) Are you using any of the new colors by Maskcara? I know myself and others would love to see another makeup tutorial with the new colors!
When should you apply texture spray? What is the diff between a texture spray, root lifter and dry shampoo? And BTW your make up is beautiful. You need to share those tips. Keep the great videos coming!
Could you do a video on which sprays out of all of those, that you feel are the best at lower price points? For those of us who don’t have a lot of extra money for things like texture spray? I also wanted to ask you if you have ever thought about mailing some of those products that you decided you didn’t like, and probably won’t use, to some of your subscribers? Maybe have a raffle and pick some names out of a hat or something like that. That way the products don’t go to waste and you get to engage with your subscribers as well. People love that. Okay well thank you, Harmony, for the great review video!
Girl, let me tell you something... You are the greatest, I love you, your hair and your tips so much that I have created a list here with many videos from you. PLUS the fact the I have been buying many products you recommended. From Aveda Thickening Tonic Volumizing Tonic Texture Tonic Damage Control Spray Air Control Volumizing Spray Pure Abundance And the Bedroomhair from Kevin Murphy All of them I really got just because of your recommendations. I knew Aveda, but never have bought their products. I am more a fan of Redken, Kerastase and L'oreal Professinnel. Even when we have very different types of hair, all the products I mentioned having been working amazingly on my hair, I use and apply them exactly the way you show on your videos and oh my! I can't thank you enough.
You’ve changed my life- I finally have some body. The teasing with hairspray has been the best trick ever. But I’m getting frizz at the roots. How do you keep your hair from looking frizzy??
Beautiful beautiful hair beautiful makeup omg just beautiful so jealous why canf I get my makeup that perfect and my hair looks so lovely lol ur amazing love watching ur vidoes thanks for letting us no the best products for texturing our hair😍
Would you please do a tutorial on this whole look when you get a chance? Love your channel(!) and I am binge watching how to get big straight hair (just used the aveda link from the other video) Thank you!
Loved this vidro!! Sooo Happy you uploaded, I enjoy your reviews very much!! Love Love your hair just Gorgeous! Thank you as always for an amazing review!! xox
@@mmmmmmmm1942 I like it a lot, and I use the Shampoo & Conditioner which makes my hair so soft. I have lots of their products, and Aveda hairspray like she uses and it's amazing 😍
Should curly hair girls use texturing products? And, do you put it on dry or damp hair? Love your video's, you do a great job.... Thanks for all your topics Melissa
Are there any products for hair that CANNOT hold a curl? I already set it in rollers to cool, but my hair is so fine that when it's long, it weighs itself down and just straightens out any curl. Mousse and hairspray aren't cutting it.
Try a beach spray texture all over your dry hair. After, dry them. Spray your flat Iron spray and do your curl, flat Iron and everything ;) finish with hair spray! Brittany Grillo
Mine is the same way so I have to use a small curl iron and start with tight curls. They hold better and by day two and three my curls are more the way I like them, a little more loose
Hi Harmony, love your videos! Can you please provide a hair coloring video and post your aveda hair color and highlights, what colors are used where, etc...
Have you tried R&Co Trophy Spray? I've been really curious about that one because most texture sprays have a matte finish, which by day 2 of using, makes my hair look so drab & dry. The R&Co Trophy adds texture, volume and SHINE. The reviews seem to say it gives more of a bouncy volume and texture, opposed to 90s grungy texture. I've also seen people say it can be used on wet hair as well before drying. Super curious!
