    I think I found my curriculum! For a non native English speaker, the script is a huge bonus! Thank you!

    I found your channel via the mom box swap and I don’t know how I’ve never come across your videos before! I’m a homeschooling curly girl, new to fly lady, and have fairly similar approach to education. Looking forward to more of your videos!

      hi there!! (I just replied to your CC video comment) Welcome! Thanks so much for watching-- it's fun to find so many like-minded people here on UA-cam, and the homeschool mom community has been surprisingly refreshing, as opposed to other communities on here. I've been struggling with flylady since school started, but I was totally on top of things over the late Spring and all of Summer!

    On a whim we ordered this for my son going into first grade next year since it was so inexpensive. So glad we did now that I’m seeing great reviews. Thank you for this review.

    I just discovered this and I'm very excited to use it. Thanks for your review! Did you use the songs also? I am trying to find a song sample.

    Can you tell me about how long it takes you ...on average...to do one lesson ...starting at the very befinnging...like lesson 1 in book 1? In looking into this for first grade for the fall. Thank you! And thank you for such a helpful review!

    This is probably a silly question, but did you just take the book in to Office Depot and they were able to take it apart and spiral bind it like this?

    Is this something I could begin this year on level 3 with my daughter, or will she be lost since she hasn't done LL1 and 2?

    • @mrscouts07
      @mrscouts07  3 роки тому +2

      Hmmmm.... You may be able to zoom through level 2 first because there's a pretty big leap between 2 and 3. I'm about to review level 2 pretty soon since we just finished it with my oldest, and we're 30-something lessons into level 3 right now. There is a lot learned in level 2 that she will need in level 3.

    So I'm assuming there is no written work with this? Only verbal instruction?

    • @mrscouts07
      @mrscouts07  Рік тому

      there are optional dictation lessons and other things at the end of the lessons that you can use if you want.

    Are you doing the reading program along side this for 2nd grade?

    • @mrscouts07
      @mrscouts07  3 роки тому +1

      I'm currently (at the moment) working through the reading program with my first grader and third grader. The first grader is using FLL Level 1 and my third grader is using FLL Level 3.

      I’ve been using the good and the beautiful but thinking I need to switch for my 4th grader… it’s quite intense. Have you done level 4 yet??

    Are they learning any writing here? Just talking about stuff? No real writing practice?

      A little bit-- there are extra enrichment activities in each lesson.

      For handwriting consider doing a copywork notebook for your child's writing ability! I do KJV Bible verses, and favorite hymns.
