Love this 7-inch so much. “Nocturnal Operations” features Billy MacKenzie (from The Associates) on backing vocals. In turn, Christine Beveridge (Orbidöig vocalist) sang on the 37 Lyon Street “Kites” single, which was a pseudonym adopted by The Associates to exploit a loophole in their Situation Two contract. So this is essentially an Associates-adjacent recording and keeping very much within their niche Post-Punk/Art-Rock cubby hole.
