Man, this kicks! brilliant.

The drummer (who was about 16 when this was recorded) went on to play for The Beautiful South, not sure where the others went. The song is a mini-epic and probably would have benefited from a John Leckie-style production rather than the cheap and cheerful tinny indy version we have. But whatever, its a a bloody good song.

love this sound. the music from england in the 1980s was so different than from the usa it almost seems like it came from the middle east with the captivating spaced out sounds.
