Motor is good for 500 and with a tune 605. Electric motors make 119hp / 217 lb ft but Honda manages output to neuter it. Electric motors turn off at 120mph. That’s why all the performance numbers are off. To 120 cars is very quick for a stock car.
@@Droptopp JNC1 motor alone is good for 640hp with a JB4 box and the TMU and rear capacitor combined only make 73hp for all 3 electric motors combined. And no the electric motors are continuous regardless of speed on the NC1 NSX. They provide torque fill between shifts and remove torque from the front and left wheels when cornering if needed too.
@@ELECTRICEYEMEDIA not sure where you get your info, but it’s wrong. I have an NC1. The electric motors are: rear 47 / 109 lb-ft, front 36+36 hp / 54+54 lb-ft for a total of 119 hp and 217 lb-ft. It us variable to output if the gas engine. The JB4 increases the gas engine hp to 600 +/- but does nothing for the electric. Nobody has been able to hack into the electric output.the E-assist is used in all gears, especially on launch which is why the car launches at 2k rpm. All E-assist is turned off at 120mph. Also in turns, the electric motors and actually produce negative tq.

I mean the NSX for what it is is incredible, you tune it easy 650-700 with eletric motors, you basically get a sf90. The great thing about the NSX, and SF90 that everyone who drives it says its incredible because the hybrid system allows for each wheel to get different amount of power, so when you're turning it can help with steering.

I was thinking the same. Stock 675LTs run low 10s, and some have ran high 9s in the 1/4 mile stock (NSXs run in the 11s stock). Unless the NSX has some mods, no way it should've lost that bad. Also, the 675LT is under 3,000 pounds curb weight, which is about 800 pounds lighter than the NSX. I've ran a 10.7 quarter mile in my stock McLaren 12C which is slower and a little heavier than the 675LT.
343kg weight and 58bhp power difference between a stock NSX and a stock Performante. NSX has non standard yellow intake pipes so possibly tuned. Still did a good job of beating the Lambo off the line though but its heavier weight weight makes a big difference once they are both rolling. Love both of them. Great cars.
@@ianso7073 Powder coated Charge Pipes don't give the NSX any power. If it had a JB4 on it and was running the 91 map tune it was making around 600hp still 40hp less than the Performante and the NSX still weighs 850 lbs more.
Performante isn’t even quicker than the 12C Spider in a roll race, but we’re supposed to believe it’s quicker than the 675LT “regardless”. Second funniest thing I’ve heard today. The funniest is an account that said the 765LT is quicker than the Chiron and FXXK.
Notice at :13 seconds, the NSX puts on the breaks. The lights at the top back of the cockpit come on. Later, the blue car comes into view. NSX is Fast!
@@Droptopp it's not worth the boost inconsistencys...... All boosted cars run like trash with Jb4 if you get out of the pedal at all or are back on and off the power. It also creates lag in snappier turbo cars. It's really not worth it.
@@IReahpZz works fine on my X5M and NC1. These cars can’t handle much more tq with the trans anyways. My R35 at 1500 is on a custom tune running boost by gear, but it’s really an apples to oranges comparison. On map 2 or map 7 on the S63TU you’ll be hard pressed to see any other tune that traps quicker. Sure you’ll find some that make more dyno hp but dyno numbers are worthless. The SOS JB4 tune is not a Can tune and is done on a dyno. If you’ve never driven one, hard to comment. NC1 is as perfect as it gets.

My prior dailys (q60 red sport, Kia stinger gt) drove like shit on map 6 boost by gear maps if you drove on a back road or weren't 100% in it. Switched to full ecu tunes and it was a night and day difference with more power and better drive ability From my experience it's a super laggy and inconsistent pull to pull which is super irritating in something you want to drive spiritedly on a back road. I've seen the same complaints on mqb cars (pretty much all of the vw audi lineup) and 335/340is rs5s etc etc. Maybe your car is dialed in and is the best car burger has ever tuned but it seems to be a common theme. Side note how do you like the gtr? I have a few serious toys but have been thinking of trying an alpha 12 gtr. Currently my favorite in the stable (mustangs 😂) is a hellion 5.0 10 speed making 1440 whp.
Can’t beat naturally aspirated. The performante is a special car. It’s not meant to drag race and it still beat all the cars. However the mclaren didn’t use launch control.

False! The minute that Huracan has to start using breaks repeatedly and having to take hairpins or advanced switch backs it's game over. The NSX walks it without mercy. Why? Because of the NSX's SH-AWD system. The 2022 Type-S despite only being 600hp has revised electric motors with more torque down low and more power in the mid and top end range now. However, I have a 2018 NSX full bolt-on with piggyback and racing IC making 720hp and have crushed Aventador S, R8, FBO GT-R, Tesla P100D, Huracans, 570S, 600LT and more.
No it isn't. Mine is making 720hp and I have beaten a Performante and it didn't catch up like this one here. I kept a 1.5 car length gap on him up to 140mph. Funny how when the power and weight are a bit more equal the better engineering comes to light. What motors did McLaren use to all their F1 victories again? Oh that's right they were Hondas.
At the very least it has a tune and most likely it is at stage two with catless downpipes or high performance catted. You can tell by the colored pipes on the intake it's not stock. Until recently I owned a stock NSX and this looks faster than mine imo.

So they ended up going over to BMW to build them an one off very stout engine. Look no further man Honda has the Superior tech and its a hard to beat type of car. No doubt about it.

I just ordered some forged magnesium alloy wheels with weights specs of around 16 lbs for the 19" up front and 18.5 lbs for the 20" in the rear. This should gain another 10-20whp by removing the 45 lbs of unsprung weight. I'll be racing again next month after I get them. I'll have video posted up on my channel.
Performante driver needs to learn how to launch better, the trick isnt to bounce off the launch limiter - but to time hitting the gas to rev up at the same time as letting off the brake, trust me.. huge difference
No it doesn't. 675LT is merely a tuned 12C with slight face lift. Gearing is nothing like the 600LT or 720S hence why it gets murdered against a tuned NSX.

@@tbu22 NSX didn't get the hit. The Performante used LC and left at the same time. Again, the Performante is 853 lb weight advantage with 67 more hp and barely put a dent in top end. Guess it shows how well Acura's engineering is on the NSX. Also you can see the NSX shut it down early at 0:14 by it's rear top brake light when the Performante caught up.

@@tbu22 NSX didn't get the hit. The Performante used LC and left at the same time. Again, the Performante is 853 lb weight advantage with 67 more hp and barely put a dent in top end. Guess it shows how well Acura's engineering is on the NSX. Also you can see the NSX shut it down early at 0:14 by it's rear top brake light when the Performante caught up.
They should've closed their windows to reduce drag...

Not an 675 or the driver missed the launch. An 675 can easily humiliate both of them.
its def a 675LT, but i think the launch control timed out or the driver didnt wanna let it rip. I would have never predicted this outcome. I'd guess Performante, 675LT............. then finally NSX. im truly surprised by the results and do not believe for one second that this should be taken as a serious reflection of the cars
