You do not need to cut out the shape of the object before laying the film. You can make a tiny slit where the object (antenna) is and as you lay the film you slowly squeegee the material down the antenna and gradually cut away the film as you heat and press down to the base of the antenna.
Love your work. I’m going to wrap my Tahoe so I have been watching all your videos!!!! Question do you post heat each section after you wrap it or just the edges?
I have a question regarding glue lines. I had mybroof wrapped and the companybsaid its normal when stretching wrap around the sharkfin antenna that a glue line can happen. They refuse to redo it. I disagree and feel they did a shit job.
Can you tell me if it's safe to wrap over a sunroof. Mine leaks and know one can find it. I've heard that you shouldn't because the glass could shatter. Is that true?
Thank you for showing that the pros make mistakes as well.
For sure! It happens and can be frustrating too. Just gotta go back to the drawing board and switch up the strategy 🙏🙏
This template trick works well also for inlays!
Oh yeah, Ive used it for tricky inlays for chrome. Havent tried it yet with regular film 🙏

Try using a watermarker with a thick point en cut inside de marker line. Usually 3mm marker tip is more than enough then you have 3mm over all around
Respect for showing the process and iteration. Those fins are cursed I'm gonna try that template trick fr
Appreciate ya! Those things aren’t fun. Especially having to work around them 😬

Hit everything the heat removes scratches and sets the adhesive

Yeah it’s safe to seal up with wrap. Just triple layer it so that it one layer gets a rock chip you’ll still have a full seal
What part of Houston You At? Have a Couple Of cars need to get wrapped.
