Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, George Harrison, Richie Blackmore, Peter Green, The Edge, Mark Knopfler, where are you?
It's great to see a list without the usual suspects. It doesn't have to be about blues-based traditional guitar players. And the Edge has always admitted the influence of John McGeoch. And The Edge is Irish not British.
What about Mick Ronson & Peter Frampton both of them are great British guitarists. They worked with David Bowie and are true rock music legends that had or have great solo careers of their own.
Interesting list. It's always intriguing to see things from someone else's perspective. I would feel compelled to include Ronnie Wood in my top three somewhere.

This is about the stupidest top ten of anything I've ever seen😭

Well, for one, the Edge is from Ireland
@@user-wu8sj3ee3d No he's not - he's from Wales. He just grew up in Ireland.
@@quantumaction1889 He was actually born in Essex
The title for this video should have been, "The 10 British Guitarist I Like." And the "I" being the guy that made this buttnugget.
Oh I saaaay ! What a dreadfully vulgar turn of phrase you command - absolutely horrid !
Great list of largely underrated guitarists. A breath of fresh air compared to the usual lists on this subject.
… Steve Hackett, Andrew Latimer?
Hahaha This list is pure comedy....
Fair enough, it's someone's opinion..dunno what world they're living in though.
A list without Gilmour, May and Beck (and that obscure guy Clapton) is a joke
But uou have a Blur guy XD

Not even close.

Plus John Squire, Bernard Butler… The list of British greats goes on for a long while!
Love that the list isn’t made up of the usual blues thieves.
Oh dear.....
Nice to see some other guitarists get some credit for once, nice list all great players except I don't know number 1
It's great to see a list without the usual and expected blues-based traditional guitar players.
JIMMY PAGE ????????😳
No Jimmy Page, Clapton or Beck?
So, no great British guitar players before 1975?
Ahhh, a George Formby fan then ...
pish
John McLaughlin
what a load of utter crap
Depends what you are using to measure. Tony Iommi not as gifted as the others but better riffs
terrible bs list / not serious.
