Sorry to inform you but Jackie Chan is NOT the G.O.A.T. at all, Bruce Lee is the "GOAT." Not to say that Jackie Chan is not good, because Jackie is absolutely amazing, but not the best. Bruce Lee was even so fast in real life directors would often have Bruce slow down his movements so that they could even be captured on film. YES, Bruce Lee is too fast in real life to be caught on camera at full speed. Do a reaction to the film, "Enter the Dragon" and you'll see for yourselves.
Fun fact about rush hour this movies is the reason Rotten Tomatoes was created the original founder was a huge Jackie Chan fan this movie was Jackie's official Hollywood release without him getting dubbed over. And so the creator decided to make sure that when people would search him up online their would be a huge amount of his discography and his works in films available for them to see to help promote Jackie Chan... So before he launched it he had a huge catalog of ratings and movie descriptions of Jackie's past projects those were the first movies to be ever rated on Rotten tomatoes
Fun fact: Jackie & Chris couldn’t get along in the beginning. Jackie thought Chris was too laid back & Chris thought Jackie was too serious for the movie. Glad later on they did get alone & can’t wait for you to watch the other 2
Jackie Chan does ALL of his own stunts. In a film he did when he was younger, he jumped onto a boat and fractured his ankle. He had them paint on his cast a copy of his other sneaker and went straight back to work. He is savage when it comes to discipline.
@bigmoethedon I'm good at predicting movies, that's what happen when you watched movies/drama/series too much, especially criminalXdetective genre. but yeah who knows 😆
Fun Fact: The group of men (sans Juntao) who were beating up on Carver at the Chinese restaurant are Jackie Chan's entourage of other stuntmen. They show up in all of his movies in similar group scenes.
The Rush Hour trilogy movies have to be some of the best and funniest movies out there. I absolutely love these movies and the pairing of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker is just perfect. These movies are hysterical.
@@KrisFlicks yeah, because I have good taste and know a bad movie when I see one 😉 Most 3rd movies of franchises are terrible and Rush Hour was no exception

I grew up watching these movies with my dad, it was our thing. Jackie and Chris are probably one of the best comedy duo's in film ever. And Jackie doing his own stunts is the cherry on top. Also, the comedy was at a time when people didn't get so offended which makes it even better. Hope you guys react to the 2nd and 3rd one, and make sure to watch the bloopers! They're even more hilarious 😂

Jackie Chan is the original Tom Cruise. Someone can correct me, but he did all of the stunts especially in his early career. Not so sure if he does for his recent/current films though. He broke all sorts of bones in his body. Thank you for reacting to this film. ❤️❤️❤️
Since the most recent Hollywood Jackie Chan movie that I know of and have seen is The Foreigner(2017), Jackie stated many times during the press tour for the movie that he no longer does the extreme stunts like jumping off buildings, cars, etc (he allows his personal stunt team to perform those stunts)due to his age which was 63 at the time(currently 68)because of the aches and pains that he experiences every day due to the years of doing his own stunts. But the thing he did say he still does and will continue to do because he feels it’s manageable for him is the hand to hand fighting scenes and gun fu scenes. For these reasons Jackie Chan has chosen to leave Hollywood for good because all they want to see from him is kung fu or just straight up action movies from him which he can no longer do. He’s doing just fine in China where he’s allowed to do various things we would never see him do in Hollywood like voice acting, singing, romantic drama’s etc things that he wants to show off to prove of his acting talent which is something he’s always wanted to do. *Jackie has his own production company/martial arts school available to anyone who wants to learn the craft of being a professional stuntman or woman. Australian stuntman/stunt choreographer Brad Allen who did choreography for Shang Chi was apart of Jackie’s stunt team for many years then later on went on to do his own work independently.
@@godofthisshit i mean most of western audiences kept harping on about how Tom Cruise is the OG when it comes to doing their own stunts etc. no disrecpect to anyone.

The role of Carter was originally offered to Eddie Murphy, but he turned it down for Holy Man. He recommended Chris Tucker for the role, the rest is history. You guys should check Bad Boys with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence
44:24 I've seen this movie at least 20 times and never really found this part that funny but your reaction to the sweet and sour chicken ass had me dying
One of my favorite moments in this movie is the bonding scene between Lee and Carter when they jam out to War by Edwin Starr and practice disarming techniques.
I forgot how funny this movie is! Thanks guys for another fun reaction😎 You guys should react to Romeo Must Die (2000) it stars Jet Li, it has 2 late greats: Aaliyah & DMX. It also has Isaiah Washington and a few other actors who were bigger in the 90's. And if you do react to and enjoy Romeo Must Die you should check out Cradle 2 The Grave (2003) which also stars Jet Li, DMX & Gabrielle Union. 🤩
Please watch some Jackie Chan’s earlier Hong Kong movies! He’s able to do the crazy stunts that Hollywood insurance would never allow, which is why his American movies tones things down a lot.

Chris Turker's dance looks like from Fortnite...?! You people need to get out more. He's imitating Michael Jackson. The tune that was playing is "Just Another Part of Me", by Michael Jackson.
If you like the action scenes, consider watching the old works of Jackie's too. Wheels on meals, Double Dragons, Drunken fists etc Even better fight scenes
FYI... Jackie doesn't use any stunt doubles for all his movies... that's why he's seriously injured himself several times... some of them were life-threatening... yet he keeps risking life and injury for the sake of entertainment and his fans... he's the best action hero
53:22 "I might need to catch up on some Jackie Chan movies" ESSENTIAL VIEWING: Police Story I-IV (Police Story 3 AKA "Supercop" and Police Story 4 AKA "First Strike") Drunken Master 2 Project A I-II Armor of God I-II (AOG2 AKA "Operation Condor") Dragons Forever Miracles: The Canton Godfather City Hunter Rumble in The Bronx Who Am I? Avoid those and instead try to find the longest, original Hong Kong release versions for maximum effect. Jackie started as a stuntman. He gets his a$$ kicked by Bruce Lee a couple times in "Enter the Dragon" (Which also BTW you ABSOLUTELY need to see, like right now, stop reading this comment and watch it. Come back when you're done) He became a star at a time when stunts were Hong Kong's big draw, and along with razor-sharp fight choreography, made a name for himself pushing the boundaries of filmed stunts. Crazy $hit like jump out of a plane onto the top of a hot air balloon. He's broken 40 bones and nearly died a couple times. He did all of his own stunts all through the 70's to the 90's until he broke his ankle on Rumble in The Bronx. Since then he has started using doubles for a few things, but he still does most of it to this day. On the US productions though, due to insurance and completion bond issues, he's not *allowed* to do all his stunts. Also, the "secret" to good choreo is rehearsal and shooting time. In Hong Kong Jackie takes as long as he needs to, sometimes devoting months to a 30 second sequence. Hollywood shooting schedules are far stricter. As popular as the Rush Hour movies are, you're really seeing a severely nerfed version of Jackie here. In Hong Kong, he just shoots without insurance (because no one will insure him)
The Medallion is another great Jackie Chan movie with supernatural elements. It’s hilarious and very 2000s. My mum was pretty strict with movies except for Jackie Chan movies when I was a kid. The funniest part for some reason is hearing Jackie chan saying "what's up my nigga" i don't care how anybody feels so damn funny he was so confident and innocent about it without realizing what he was saying then my dude repeated it lmao
I love these movies, still makes me LOL. Chris & Jackie make a hilarious duo!
