TRIP REPORT | Air Canada - 767 300 - Calgary (YYC) to Toronto (YYZ) | Economy

- Welcome to another trip report!
On January 19, I flew Air Canada on an aging 767-300 from Calgary, AB to Toronto, ON in Economy. Air Canada only has 5 767s left in their fleet, and they will all be retired in 2021. The cabin features their classic "signature" herringbone seats, and the Economy seats are dated, but comfortable. I had a pleasant experience onboard!

I kind of like the frosted maple leaf logo. I have good memories flying Air Canada when they used that livery. Your seat looks decent enough. Well done.
Best trip reporter out there.

Ehhhhhhh
The 767 gives me serious nostalgia. I can remember flying them from Halifax to london direct when I was a kid.
I'm so impressed by Air Canada's food selection. Apparently you can also pay $15 for a J meal too! How is it that US airlines only have disgusting wraps and snack boxes, but AC, Ryanair, etc all have a full hot menu?
@Logan Donnelly +1 on United's pizza, and AA had a good waffles/Nutella box from Zoe's Kitchen. I just wish that they were available on shorter flights (2 hour cutoff), there was a bigger selection, and the prices were reasonable. A decent meal service could actually become a good revenue stream for them, not an afterthought to satisfy EPs
RIP 767 and we thank you. You are one of the classics!
Nice vid, gotta love those original 767 overhead bins, DL had em on their domestic 763s before they got retired.
Stylish as always. I could get used to these almost daily videos!
Amazing report! Hope you enjoyed the flight. All the best and stay safe
Great work, loved the editing!
awesome flight experience with the boeing 767-300 QFS Aviation. Goodluck for your youtube channel.
767 300...an oldie but a goody !! Used to love flying in them here in Australia with Qantas but now sadly gone to the grave yard in the USA !! Those Business Class seats don't look very private !! Wrong seat !! Done that a few times myself !! Excellent views out the window...well done for the flight tracking !! Pretty good flight by the look of things. Well done again and stay safe in these most uncertain of times !! And a good score at the end !!
Oh I miss our Calgary airport it’s nice to see it again! Most of us can’t wait to fly again :) stay safe!
Awesome video man!
Fantastic sunset on takeoff, great trip report!

Love the videos keep em up👍
hi qman, thanks for sharing, made my day! fly safe my friend
Nice trip report, as always! Your videos are very enjoyable, I used to fly AC often when my company had an office in Toronto. I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve seen some videos where the guy goes into the airplane lav, and not for a tour of the facilities! :)) I guess I’ve got a dirty mind!
Gorgeous 767! They will be missed :(
no they wont
Another great report! I must say those people got up hella fast when y’all got to the gate in Toronto 🤣
I remember flying on that flight but something (likely a delay caused by weather or maintenance) caused the 767 to be substituted with a brand new 787. It was amazing!
Beautiful lights !
Nice trip report on Air Canada 🇨🇦 looks like they’re really good. Wow they have an in flight ✈️ entertainment system and free food 🥘. I’ve never seen this on any airline.
Awesome video!!!!
Canadian airlines! I flew with them a very long time ago, they were good, seats look comfortable and that's cool that you get a proper power plug 😀
thanks Q for the ride👍✈✈✈✈
are you on like a canada tour or something
No he just likes showing which cities the plane was flying over
Thanks for the upload man! I've always loved the 767 and it's sad to see another operator let it go. It will truly be missed. It looks so good in that frosty blue. At least United and Delta should keep theirs for a few more years. I heard United may be doing a life expansion program on theirs. Safe Travels!
I love to eat pizza 🍕 mmmmmmm
I’m surprised your flight flew from Calgary to USA to Toronto.
I think it’s illegal route to Fargo area back to border to Canada 🇨🇦
I’m glad you show us your successful video on UA-cam!!
This was very welcome today, Many Thanks, Please Be Safe!! JB
Their 767 is special!
great report video
Thanks QFS !!
Wonderful video of the 767. =D
Great video great job
Love the videos 👍👍
That pizza is extremely delicious! Had it too several times!
Minor error - Detroit Lakes is in Minnesota
Haha yay Medicine Hat!!
You should try the 787 air canada from LHR to YYC it’s amazing
Great video. The mainline (not Rouge) AC 767 is the best plane (actually it might be the most comfortable) in Air Canada's fleet- up there with the A330 and E190 in terms of comfort. Lots of folks complain about how the plane is 30 y/o, the cabin is outdated and the IFE is ghetto blah blah blah... The furnishings and IFE in their "nicer" 777s/787s are brand new but the seats are brutal (width, legroom etc) and what's worse, they are crammed in 3-4-3 in Y (3-3-3 in the 787). Have flown on the 67 14+ hours to Asia and I would take that any day over their newer widebodies.
Hey! Great channel mate! Just a question which editing software you use?
tonight's Q re-view, titled "dude, where's my seat", is in honor of Canada Day. it's a flight on Air Canada of course. so grab some warm pizza and a coke and enjoy some beautiful night shots. and thanks to qman for sharing!!
your probably to young to remember..the early headphones plugging into a central sound supply....with low quality sound...
Nothing beats the 2-3-2 configuration in Economy
i remember watching the jazzguy 13 aviations video same plane 767-300 calgary to toronto ancient ife screens are going away for newer and faster ife screens also fly on both deltas and aircanadas airbus a220s sometime soon both in first class
@QFS Aviation what is your favorite airline so far
Great trip report, but too bad all the 767’s are gone!
When was the last time they did upgrade the cabin?
Also, it was an Air Canada flight disaster that inspired the invention of the escape path lighting system. Air Canada flight 797, which was a DC-9, had to make an emergency landing when smoke started to fill the cabin. Only half of the passengers made it off the plane before flames shot through it, killing everyone who was trapped inside. They were completely incinerated. Those who didn’t make it off the plane couldn’t see where the exits were because the cabin was full of thick smoke, which reduced visibility. Ever since, all planes that carry passengers have the EPL system. Even the Dash-8 has it!
I’m watching this the day after the last one was retired
9:15 Why infamous?
why didnt they dim the lighting
How did you get the social media logo? I have PowerDirector? Does it work on that editor?
Think he’s on Final Cut Pro
Shame the 767 is retiring. The most miraculous Air Canada incident involved a 767. The plane ran out of fuel mid-flight, and was forced to make an emergency landing in Gimli, Manitoba because the nearest airport, which was in Winnipeg, was too far away. The pilot was familiar with an Air Force runway...but he didn’t know it had been converted into a drag racing strip. Despite this, the plane landed safely and everyone on board survived with only minor injuries
Detroit Lakes is a pretty cool city
Do you accumulate miles?
So I guess the ife is still using the first commercial computer.
Window knocking noises please for andy
Detroit Lakes is in MN isn't it ?
Are you going to fly on an Air Canada 787 anytime soon?
2:24 that guy didn’t look happy that you were recording lol
