@FoxIslanderSteve , this isn't about whether the doctor has it right or wrong. It's about censorship. About someone deciding for you, what information you may look at. They are taking away your right to decide based on all the information out there. Main-stream medicine gets very little correct, yet we are expected to believe them without good evidence. UA-cam, google, facebook, twitter - nothing but book-burners promoting the propaganda of their choice.

Thats the problem. As many of the proved treatments that are available and used fro underground MDs (who migh loose their license for doing it ) vit D is not mentioned in maindstrems media because is a cheap vitamin (is not even considered a drug ) And the medical stablisment dont promote anything like that. Take for instance REMDECIVIR which has really really mild efffect on the course of the disease, is $4000 dlls on pilll.... Pharma is the business of death... And this virus is going to makke them trillions. You`lll see.

The pharmaceutical companies have bought our US government- including Congress and the President by giving hundred of thousands to their campaign.
They will never mention a vitamin to take. It might hurt their lobbyist money.
Do you know why we in US have the highest price on medications. Other countries negotiate the cost of drugs but not us.
Pharmaceutical comparison can charge as much as they want since our government is bought by them.
As a result Medicare is having financial problems due to the high price.

Can you take this one level deeper and talk about how important cholesterol is to make Vitamin D? Also, can you address how the toxic sun screen lotions that have been pushed by society are partially responsible for not making Vitamin D, due to blocking the sun on our skin. So 4 issues decrease the ability to make Vit. D..1. Sun Exposure by where we live. 2. Sun Exposure not making Vit D due to sun screen 3. Dark skin, which makes Vit. D slower 4. Taking a pill that decreases the creation of cholesterol also decreases the body's ability to make Vit D.

Also - the time of day of sun exposure is a factor - few people know that ultraviolet B light is what creates the reaction in the skin that leads to vitamin D, not UV A, and UV B is completely blocked by the atmosphere if the sun is below about 45 degrees above the horizon. So you need middle of the day sun exposure even in summer, not early morning or late afternoon.

I was on a juicing and on healthy detox when I got sick with Covid. My immune was high!! I had the death of the flu symptoms and just recently got over pneumonia!
In talking with the State heath agency on my follow up call (they call you at HOME) she literally said that I had the worse symptoms that she’s heard in her months of making those calls. I had the ICE cold chills, fever, drenched sweating 24 hours a day, severe muscle pain and sharp pain in my blood, poor vision, malaise, scalp issues and excessive dandruff, loss of appetite and the inability to stay awake. Those symptoms lasted 10 days! I ended up in the ER where they found pneumonia in my lungs! I had every bad symptom there is, however my body/immune system was able to overcome the pneumonia at home w just a round of antibiotics. The pneumonia is what causes people to have to go on ventilators. It was harrowing and scary experience. I kept reminding myself it’s the flu, you can and will get better. Thank God I have immunity for a few months. My body and mind need time to heel. Stay safe. Wear your mask, get lots of sunshine and double up on your Vitamin D! 💚💚💚

As a health coach with specialized training in functional medicine I have a protocol that I put together to help people fight Covid should they contract the virus. Since Feb I followed my own protocol as a prevention, but yet on June 17th I woke up with a 99.1 fever and rapid heart rate of 100-120bpm. My normal resting heart rate is always in the high 50s to low 60s so I knew something was wrong. I immediately went into isolation and on the 2nd day my back pain was so severe I went to the ER. I'm 55 years of age in good health, workout daily, and have no underlying medical issues. However, they checked out my heart just to be safe and all was fine and the test for Covid came back negative. I went home and remained in isolation and then went to the urgent care on the 4th day and tested positive. I lost sense of taste on this day as well and everything had an ammonia like smell to it. My fever stayed in the 99.1 to 101 range with it averaging around 100.5. I didn't take anything for pain or fever for the first 3 days and I am here to tell you that was a big mistake because I think I caused undo stress on my body from the rapid heart rate and severe back and leg pain. Finally on day 4 I took 1000mg of Tylenol and I literally felt the pain leaving my body within about 15 minutes. As a health nut I am totally against taking medications unless absolutely necessary and please believe me this was necessary. I was scared to death the entire time because I knew this virus can effect people differently. Everything from no symptoms to death so I lay there every night wondering if I would wake up the next day. So, what did I do and what were my symptoms?
Low grade fever, muscle aches the first 3 days and then I started taking Tylenol as needed. Most of the time I didn't have to take it but every 12-20 hours or so. I lost sense of taste and my metabolic rate was through the roof hence the reason for the rapid heart rate. This is due to adrenaline and cortisol your body pushes out when fighting an infection. I was basically in fight or flight mode for 12 days and I lost 9 pounds. I also had a mild cough and when I would take a deep breath I could feel the mild tightness in my lungs so I made it a point to do deep breathing exercises every couple of hours or so.
On day 12 I was growing weary because nothing was improving or getting worse. I was stable, but yet getting very discouraged that I was not getting better. So, at 2:12am in the morning I prayed to God and asked Him to heal my body. I asked Him to renew my faith and I needed to know that He was real in my life so I called on the name of Jesus. Every night leading up to that night my fever would spike anywhere from 100.5 to 100.8 and then I would have to take Tylenol. That night I prayed at 2:12am because I saw my fever creeping up from 99.1 to 99.4 and I thought, here we go again so I prayed and prayed for God to show Himself to be real and I asked Him to make this virus go away by 3:00am. Well, that was only 48 minutes, but I didn't want to make it that easy for God and I wanted a set time so that I would know it was God if indeed He healed me. I then took my temperature at 3:00am and about fell out when it read 98.9. Instead of creeping up to 100.5 to 100.8 it reversed by half a degree in 48 minutes. I cried like a baby and went to sleep and woke up the next morning around 8:00am and my temperature was 97.7 and it has been normal every day since then and all symptoms left and that was 8 days ago now. In those 8 days I have gained back 4 of the 9 pounds I lost and I thank GOD for showing up for me! I know some people will say it was a coincidence, but to me God showed up in 48 minutes and He stomped on that virus. I was at the time more spiritual and I know that God loves all, but that night I called on Jesus and He showed Himself to be real and He did so in 48 minutes. Yes, I am excited because I have experienced the power of God!
So, I did take vitamin D3/K2, astaxanthin, R-Lipoic Acid, vitamin C, NAC, vitamin A, E, and omega 3s to help control inflammation. The virus never took over my lungs and my immune system never overreacted to cause a cytokine storm. However, keep in mind that I had been taking all these supplements like clockwork since Feb, but yet I still contracted the virus. Did they help keep me from getting a severe case? Who knows, but I give all the credit to God either way and I thank Him for showing up in 48 minutes to clear my body of this virus and I am here to spread the message of prayer. Just pray and ask God for healing because if He will do it for me He will do it for you! Praise God and peace to His people on earth. Thank you Jesus for what you have done for me and I pray that anyone that reads this message that you will protect them from this virus or heal them like you did me! Move for them Father and show yourself to be real in their lives as well. Amen!

As for skin type it also explains Type II diabetes prevalence and broken bones in Birmingham UK for example. What a conductor is to an orchestra so D3 is to the activation of your immune system and smooth elasticity of the lining of your blood vesicles relating to your autonomic nervous system (blood pressure control and many other critical functions). I had suspected covid in early March, couldn’t get tested at that time unfortunately - also had my vitamin d level checked in November, it was high - my vitamin d always seems to be slightly high. I got pretty sick in the second week of infection after initially feeling like I just had a mild cold - might’ve been that high vitamin d that kept me out of hospital. I also had my CRP checked a few weeks after infection and it was very low, my CRP is also usually very low which might be related to the vitamin d. I have had ongoing relapses and long term symptoms though which has been worrying and a huge pain in the ass. I was also taking NAC and zinc picolinate before I got sick, just as part of my winter flu prevention regimen.

Dr. Been: Thank you for another terrific video! Do you think it's ok for an overweight male adult to take 8,000-10,000 I.U. per day of D? I realize this is considered a high dose, but given the tendency for D to be sequestered in adipose tissue -- and the variability in absorption from person to person and within an individual over time -- might it be prudent to err on the side of taking 'too much' D? I should note that the person in question (a family member) takes 90mcg of MK7 per day.

There was a doctor experimenting with D and made a mistake in mixing his dose. He took something like a million units per day for weeks before discovering his error. D is not dangerous like big pharma wants us to think it is.
For example: 15-20 minutes of all over body sun exposure will generate 20,000 units. So how much do we produce when working all day in the sun? Our bodies know what to do.

From one of your early videos, I came to know bout the possible usefulness of VitD 3 against the corona virus and started on a dosage of 2000 IU per day via tablets. After three days of usage I had a most terrifying experience at around mid morning. I developed blind spots which could not be moved around and also an over lay of a geometric design of a sort of cross hatch pattern which also could not be moved around. , This experience brought me into a near panic state which living in a third world country could not be attended to , there being no medical facilities that could be referred to as hospitals and all private clinics including the two in my building being shut down due to the epidemic. The experience lasted for about fifteen minutes after which all was perfectly normal. The experience was repeated the next day and for three days after at precisely the same time of the same duration. A Google search produced nothing and the doctors in my building had never heard of any such side effect of Vit D3.As the only new medication that could have brought this experience on was obviously the Vit D , I discontinued its use on the fourth day . I was pleasantly surprised and greatly relieved to not have a repeat of the experience after stoppage of the Vit D intake. After much deliberation with the local chemist, a dosage of 800 IU was suggested and I resumed intake with no ill effects, with the possible exception of greatly disturbed sleep.
There does not seem to be even the very slightest awareness of this side effect of Vit D 3 even among the doctors consulted or on the Net or in the massive books on medicines , their uses, side effects etc etc. I thought you might be interested to know of my experience and that it could possibly be of some use.

Labdoor website tests supplements and does not charge a fee to view the info. While some of their tests are not current, it did help me to find manufacturers that cared about quality and had low contamination. It was eye opening to see how prevalent low levels of contamination are. I was involved in supplement manufacturing in the 80s and found that supplements that didn’t pass quality were sent to other countries for sale. I was going over some info recently and found that this is still taking place.

First my OB/GYN and then a gerontologist stressed taking vitamin D supplements in my early 50s. I’ve been on 5000 to 10,000 units ever since. I am now 67 and very seldom get sick. I am pale redhead in the southern US so
get plenty of vitamin D from the sun. how long I stay outside varies given how quickly I burn from the sun, but I just sent this video to at least three of my friends and my husband because I believe and agree with him about the importance of c reactive protein and vitamin D. I’ve known about it for years Ive paid out-of-pocket to have my c reactive protein tested when insurance companies wouldnt cover it: I want to know what the basic inflammation levels of my body ate! it helps to know all this. knowledge is power!

@@toddjacksonpoetry probably perfect, I'm Puerto Rican, 114 pounds 5' tall and spend time in sun, still need 8000IU to maintain level at 43. The darker you are the less you absorb from sun. I was deficient for years thinking sun was enough. Black people need 2hours per a white person's 15 min! Every dark person who doesn't spend 2 hours a day in the sun, every day of their life, should assume they are deficient.

Dr. Been, you are the KING! I remember you discussing this mechanism of action of Vitamin-D and cytokine storm more than a year ago, in late Spring of 2020. This newly-published research confirms everything that you said at that time. It bothers me that your videos keep getting censored on UA-cam. Perhaps you should start posting on Rumble, instead - they will not censor this important information!

Amazing video!! My “top notch” NYC endocrinologist mom shamed me for giving my (chronically low vitamin D) daughter 3,000 IU a day, her blood levels were at 70. Her doctor made me go down to no more than 1000 IU of vitamin D a day. I foolishly listened due to the shaming by the doctor and guess what, my daughters blood vitamin D levels dropped to 30. Did her doctor call me to tell me to increase it? Did she care? Nope. Her Cornell doctor told me vitamin D was dangerous. Also, The late Dr. Bradstreet and Dr. Gonzales (both suicided) found high Nagalase amounts- which come out of viruses and cancer cells, shut off the immune system. Vaccines have nagalase or the viruses in the vaccines excrete nagalase shutting down the immune system. Vitamins D and cytokine storms were discussed a lot by the”suicided” doctors. They healed through GcMaf. GC proteins is a protein in the body that is used by macrophages. Macrophages kill viruses and cancer cells. GC protein adds vitamin D to it, and once vitamin D is added to the GC protein it becomes Vitamin D Human Immune System Enzyme Protein, AKA Vitamin D bonding macrophage activating factor. Aka GcMaf- a protein in our blood that kills viruses and cancer. However nagalase targets the surface of T & B lymphocytes, disabling the body from making GcMaf. Cytokine storms happen when macrophages don’t get sufficient quantity of vitamin D during viral exposure- according to the dead doctors. I’m just a laymen so I hope I explained what Dr. Bradstreet said correctly.

@@itzalejandro210 ok? it's a lot better than ok :) that is great. The amount needed to achieve optimal levels varies a lot, from lifeguards usually needing no additional supplementation, to overweight dark skin person working indoors who eats lots of fructose who has autoimmune disease and who always wears sunscreen might need over 10,000iu per day in very rare cases. Most need 2,000 to 5,000iu per day to be close to opimal, from my reading. www.grassrootshealth.net/document/moving-research-into-practice-charts-booklet/

I am an RN and started taking Vitamin D and K 2 after developing breast cancer in 2002. I follow the Budwig protocol....now I have the whole family taking D3 and K2 as we live in the North Eastern United States, where people's D levels typically are low. No one in the household has gotten sick during COVID pandemic. Vitamin D won't make big Pharma rich and that's why, in my humble opinion, the general population isn't hearing about the importance of Vitamin D, in preventing infection. We all should be eating grass fed butter etc, for natural D intake, too.
