Recap! Thanks very much lads this was great 👍 👊
Awesome, I was dipping out of the Twitch live because I was soooo busy with life. I'm catching up properly here though. Have a good one, Shelfers! 👊👊👊
I love how the setup almost always changes. Lol
Going to recap this with weevil today thanks for another great podcast lads much love from NZ 👊
Great pod guys 👊👊
Fully agree with identity politics and agenda's ruining films Gary you are spot on.
LOVE YOU GUYS
Thanks Guys, great podcast!.....I'm watching Iron Claw later looks amazing :)
Another great podcast! Thank you Gary & Iain 👍
I hope they cover Muff Divers 2!
Always great to hear you guys discuss films and patiently answer our questions! I hope more silent, foreign, or classic films that have been unduly forgotten or which are less known are on the cards for you guys to watch and review, if you want. :) If you’d answer any of more questions - my question is - What are your thoughts on how more films are sugar-coated (at best) or at worst, unduly censored/woke as opposed to films from before which were more free - example the classic “Dumbo” from the 1940s as opposed to the Tim Burton live action “Dumbo”, or alternatively the latest live action Disney movies as opposed to the classic 1980s and prior Disney movies - though this need not be about kids films. It can include live action adult films - such as the latest remake of “Ben Hur” vs the earlier film adaptations, including the famous and beloved 1959 version (if you both haven’t seen that yet, I highly recommend it)
R.I.P Carl Weathers I don't remember him in Close Encouters Of The Third Kind, I saw The Iron Claw yesterday since my elder brother saw it last week so I decided to see it.
It was interesting I thought but very depressing. As for movie news I had no idea that Sam Mendes wanted to do 4 individual Beatles films that's interesting.
As for Luc Besson I do like The Fifth Element I understand critical points of it , Leon another I like and Subway though that's early in his career.
LValerian and The City Of Thousand Planets and The Big Blue I think are ok. La Femme Nikita is an interesting one. I know of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer audible follow up but interesting transition.
Thank you for answering the questions though it was a bit long winded.
Yay, hello mum and dad (Iain is mum)
shelf life! 🎉
like Shinobi said.... Welcome to Bonus Stage!!! Happy happy joy joy. Top one Nice one you beautiful barstewards
I would give the House of Wax treatment to Paul 'Waste of Space' Anderson for what he did to Resident Evil & AVP. What a TW@. ❤
Inhavent watched this yet, and im kind of new to the channel recently, and i know you guys take it seriously usually - but Neil Breens new movie would be nice! Its probably better than fkn Covenant🤣
I still have nightmares from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles nintendo game underwater level. I never did beat it and 35 years I am still bitter. After that, Tomb Raider seemed like cake. Lol
ETA: I guess that's Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles to you cats lol
@@Neo_Vandole True. Though I did like the 2nd TMNT game that was a port of the arcade game. That was one of the best NEA games I played as a kid.
Jesus that He Man sypnosis sounds Poo! lol
I am not giving Madam Web a script excuse simply because they had story constraints. Absolutely not. Every director and script writer deals with constraints. EVERY LAST ONE. That does not excuse a bad script or direction.
going to be wholly honest. I dnt think the Beetles are that great.
I don’t buy into this anti-woke narrative being put out there. To me it’s all politics. Box ticking has always existed. The difference is now we live in more diverse times and these issues are more in the spotlight. If you look at Eternals, the director is good, the cast are good too. It just didn’t work as a film. People complain about Star Trek being too woke did they not see the 60s show?😅 Also I love Iain’s Karl Pilkington style response to the issue of AI😂 Iron Claw is fantastic agreed. Shame it got snubbed at the Oscars
