I always thought 0 to death was 0 damage taken in a new stock situation but Toph said it in a way as 0 to death combo? Which is it?
I always thought it was when you take your opponent from 0% to death while you take no damage yourself
I've seen it defined a couple of ways though over the years so not entirely sure which it is

It’s not a zero to death if they get hit
a zero to death is taking someones whole stock in a period where they can’t land a hit on you. you can get a 0 to death on someone no matter what your % is
These are 0 to stock not 0 to death combos they're not true
meaningless new era smash distinctions lol
a 0-death in the context of melee is any interaction where the victim started at 0 and by the end, died.
A 0-death could be something as simple as a backthrow shine to a complicated, fully played out stock.
0 to stock is not a term used by the melee community.
