Chad Keegan & Dane Scott combine UA-cam Channels for an afternoon of hangin out, Talkin trash, and driving the infamous "Frankenstein" KW Aerodyne and GMC "AstroVadar" Cabovers.
So "StickArounTown" its gonna get ugly! lol.

I love these cabovers, grew up on them, and they don't use DEF, and they don't have electronics that the government can track. Nor do they have things on them that keep em from running like they should. Great job Dane!!

I wish we could go back to this type of trucking again. All the different trucks and manufacturers. Also people using the cb to talk to other truckers to actually communicate in good ways. I miss all that.
Yes AJ, truly were the “good ole days”
In 1979, I drove a KW just like that, or pretty close. It had a 350 Cummins that couldn't get out of it's own way. Had a 9 speed transmission, would run 72, still took a long time to get there then a strong head wind and down to 58 . Even thought it was a new truck, I backed off the android valve about 3 turns. That made a big difference, it would pull much better, and got slightly better fuel mileage. If it not been new I would have changed the fuel plunger to increase the fuel pressure. I didn't want to break the pump seal on a new truck

Very cool video! I've found a new channel to follow! I grew up riding on the doghouse of a ol Pete 352 and I love the old trucks! I tell people all the time the old school trucks and drivers paved the way for all the creature comforts we have today. Looking forward to the next video!

Yes sir! Astrovader has the same paint scheme as a Astro my dad drove for Refrigerated Transport way back in the day. My brother and I are second generation drivers and my nephew is a third generation driver. We say all the time that my dad would have a fit if he seen what trucking has become today.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings!🇺🇸 Now this was truly unexpected & a blessing. 🤩 I liked the 3 cabovers parked in the front yard…makes for a very nice picture. Talking about artwork! Made a nice ride, didn’t it? Yeah, I can still remember riding in the back of my dad’s truck watching all the cabovers coming down the road. It doesn’t seem that long ago, really.🧐 I watch a lot of Chad’s stuff as well. I haven’t met him yet either. I do like the fact that he works his cabovers. Hey, that’s what they were meant for. How anyone can speak negatively about these beauties is beyond me. Must be jealous is all I can think.
I know that stretch of highway you guys were on, used to run Binghamton NY to Chardon Ohio every Monday for about 3 years lol. Frankenstein reminds me a lot of Hank Good's Highway Hilton, which is a little older. I had the pleasure and honor of driving Hank's truck a couple of times in parades, it's now in Iowa 80 Truck Museum. Now I gotta check out Chad's channel too lol

O/Operator,s they had a Owner Operator named Hank Good! He had one of the Nicest & coolest looking Cabover KWOPPER,s ya, ever seen! and it's traveled all over the USA. And Europe. I'm sure lot's of drivers seen his truck it's been in many magazines and it's also on UA-cam aswell.

I thought all KW aerodynes had the diamond stitch padding but the vertical stripes are nice too, like the Astros had. Cool Frankenstein accents, especially the shifter knob.
Hopefully once I get Betty White truck done we can all get together with our cabovers

I had a KW the same style as the one here and found them to be extremely cheapy made. I was actually sprised by the shoddy workmanship when it was built with screws going nowhere, imporper fitting interior, cardboard used in the ceiling, doghouse was not reinforced and cracked, dash screws cracked all the fiberglass they went into, exterior visor cracked due to no reninforcement, air cracks between the tool box and interior cab, non-inuslated doors and interior, ridiculously limited amount of insulation over the dog house and leaking dome lights, windshiled and vista widows letting water in. It was just so cheaply made.

As someone who is forced to drive one of these newer piece of shit computer-controlled automatic trucks if someone was to up and give me a cabover I would rip their arm off had a chance to drive one
