My biggest fear with his family having a part of the movie is their going to try and protect the "image" and not show the real MJ.All videos so far even searching for NL only show him as sweet Michael who needs protection. But we know from people who were around him and from leaked phone calls and videos that Michael could be a little sarcastic, he cursed (even his daughter has said this) he drank..He lost friends because he didn't like being told no..Basically, he was normal behind the scenes. And I hope they show a bit of that.

Yea and that's what makes a boring movie in all hit movies the main person is complex with different versions of themselves. And mj was that.
Jaafar has those Jackson features already so the hair and make-up will definitely compliment without exaggeration.
As a huge fan of Michael's for more than thirty something years, I just can't wait for this biopic. I still can hardly believe that Michael is not here with us in this planet. But he's living forever in my heart.

I love/hate the spoiler paparazzi pics, but these are incredible. Insight: this scene is of "Mike and Ms. Kate" in the door-to-door ministry as Jehovah's Witnesses. Michael did this (with security nearby) up until around 1986ish; he had to eventually use disguises and when that stopped working, he stopped doing it. I love that all of this is being included, and the family's input brings accuracy. ❤ - I'm just so excited about this wonderful film. I can't hold back emotion! 😊 lol
My friends and I were around, and there was no security with him! He drove himself and a peer from the church going Door to Door. Sometimes in a lil deguise every now and then. He didn't wear this outfit. No flooded pants showing white socks. Nope! But it'll be OK for this bio pic.

We followed him around the area back in the day and would watch him and a young man from the church going door to door. It was cute and endearing. Some people would recognize him others weren't sure but knew there was something different about him. 😂 Awhh, good ole dayz!! 🕊♥️
when i saw Fuqua i was like okay this is a serious filmmaker with an a-list resume, he wouldnt do this if he didnt think Jafar was ready- so im hoping for the best.

I’ll say, based on the lead photos I saw with Jaafar looking like Michael Jackson, I’d say the makeup team did a great job making Jaafar look like his uncle, and the hairstyle was done pretty well as far as I can tell from just the pictures. I’ve got some good hope that this biopic will do well. Only time will tell, especially when a trailer for it drops (my guess is likely sometime near the end of this year, since next year is when it’ll release). But yeah, good to see your husband back for another video, always nice to see you two talk about mj news and stuff!

I did enjoy seeing you guys on video together. I am excited for the biopic. I love the pictures, but I don't want to see the entire movie before we actually see the film. If Prince cried after reading the script, I do believe we will get to see a side of Michael that we don't know. Also, I loved the documentary on We Are The World. My Remember The Time earliest memory of Michael happened when the Jackson 5 first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1969. I was 3 and at my babysitter's house waiting for my mom to pick me up. She worked 2 jobs, and I was with the sitter in the evenings. I have been blessed to see the Jacksons perform live 4 times. You guys need to do videos together more often. I enjoy your mutual bond over Michael Jackson ❤.
@Twinkling_tara_ I don't really consider myself a moonwalker, but a huge fan of the Jackson Family. I am 57 so I had the wonderful privilege to witness their professional career from the start. I have loved Michael Jackson from day one and will do so for the rest of my life. Seeing him perform live with his brothers was incredible.
@Twinkling_tara_ I guess since I am older, I understand that death is a part of the life cycle. I was devastated, but I understand that Michael Jackson didn't have peace in life as the King of Pop and wasn't able to live as "normally" as you and I. I tend to reminisce on the good and joy he gave to the world. I also love that I was blessed enough to see him perform with his brothers several times when ticket prices were cheap. Michael's music is life, and his legacy continues through his children and family. So when I get sad, I just remember the good and the beauty of what he provided to the world.

This biopic is needed and giving more details of his life, I remember them saying is supposed to be 3hr film but I’m glad his family is involved so his story can be told right. Blog sites , talk shows and radio gonna try to throw shade and I’m glad that this movie will tell the truth.

And to answer your question, yes, I have seen the few photos that have come out recently and to be honest, I'm not bothered with it but I don't want to see too many photos leaked BEFORE the movie comes out otherwise it'll be spoiled for all of us and I don't want that. I wanna be blown away when I see this next spring on the big screen!!! What I also will say is that what we've seen with the photos so far, the cast all look great, especially Jafaar (that first photo of him as his uncle singing from the Dangerous era absolutely made my jaw drop because the hair, the make-up, the outfit.....wow.) and I can't wait to see what other info they put in about Michael that us fans think we know but we really don't because it's true, Michael was a very private guy. So yeah, so far it's looking promising!!! 👍

This biopic will be truly groundbreaking it’s gonna make the world stop not only will this be The Greatest Biopic Film Of All Time! But The Greatest Film Of All Time!🙌🏽👑🎬💫(It’s destined for greatness also the film that actually won an Oscar in Jamie Foxx playing Ray Charles in the epic film “Ray” that movie is amazing and that’s the one I’m look at for this to beat also I know the film is gonna have a 3-4 hour duration cause there’s Marvel films with lower budget than this that have long duration as well. Also the MJ films budget is extremely higher than a Marvel Film so they’re putting alot of hard work into this I can’t wait! Especially w/ the film budget being $123,000,000)

Miles Teller was in Top Gun Maverick - he played Goose's adult son. Goose was his father in the original top gun that died. Also I lived through most of Michael Jackson's career starting with the Jackson 5 through his solo career and his incredible Off The Wall and Thriller eras. Love your channel young lady. Really takes me back to the days of high school and having Michael plastered in my locker and mostly my bedroom.

I have been a Jackson fan since the 80s , so it will be interesting to see what things they being our with the biopic. My first memory of him was the Jacksons singing and performing various they performed vocally. My sisters had the Jacksons on their wall when I was like 8 yr old. As far as MJ solo career visual or vocally was the Off the Wall era. I remember when We are the World came out too. MJ videos used to be a HUGE event.

Lol😂 I had all the Right on magazines and went to a lot of J5 concerts. I had Polaroid pics of them and the same J5 pins that the girls in the mini series the Jackson’s An American Dream had.. Going to Michael concerts all my life. And have been a fan since I was a kid. I am just 2 years younger than Michael. It was an exciting time.

I loved The Greatest Night In Pop I've watched it like 3 times since it's come out and will probably watch it again. It was definitely much more refreshing to see if im comparing it to Thriller 40, but Im gonna be real any content involving Michael im gonna watch it and I'm gonna like it lol

The footage of We Are The World was really good. With the footage that they used, I really felt like I was in that room watching them go through this process. Also the fact that they were there all night into the early morning was interesting. I didn't know that it took them that long.

The Dangerous and OTW eras look amazing! Not too sure about the Thriller era pics, but I’ll reserve full judgement until I see Jaafar in motion. As far as the spoiler conversation is concerned, none of us knows exactly which events/aspects will be covered. So I don’t view the leaked photos as spoilers at all. Michael’s life entailed soooo many pivotal moments that it’d be impossible for fans to map out a play-by-play of the film’s plot.
I won't forget about the movie, it supposed to come out 8 day's after my birthday 😁❤ best birthday present ever!! OMGOSH MJFANGIRL saying he made her feel at ease and comfortable, I say that about his music, my go to song is You Are Not Alone and if I'm having a bad day all of his song's lift me up 😊❤ because they ALL have meaning!! I'm so grateful I found her and her husband on here

So they will be very glad to see his nephew do his thing. ❤ They can get a. lot of different people to play the other parts but when family members portray the One of the brothers or Michael it's an honor to see all of them in an original family member. Yes, I agree about the liberties they can take with Jaafar. I was telling some of my friends the same thing. Jaafar is unique because he is family in that he would have familial insights and directions that outsiders wouldn't have. As far as looks, Jaafar naturally looks like Michael and Jackson family bone structure, so the makeup and alterations shouldn't be too costume-like.
All i know is the Jacksons American dream is the only MJ movie that goes into full detail about not just Mike but what his brothers endured as well leading into their prime..so I'm hoping it'll be just as long and just as well put together

I read on Wikipedia that Geoge Harrison's mom used to listen to Indian music when she was pregnant with him. It's amazing how that impacted how George took an interest in Indian culture and Hinduism as an adult during the mid-60s.
As far as the biopic is concerned, seeing the costumes and the makeup make me excited for the movie. I've seen the video of Jaafar performing Man in the Mirror from the Daily Mail and he embodied Michael in a way that didn't feel like he was impersonating him. HOWEVER, I feel like the continued leaks will cause some of the fans to have false expectations if the movie doesn't live up to how it's supposed to be (ex. For me, showing the TRUTH about the allegations back in '93). Will I watch the movie on April 2025? Absolutely, but I will have some reservations for now...

Rumors that this would only go until 1988 are ridiculous. It's a biopic of the greatest entertainer to ever do it. It will cover his entire life.

Colman did a great job as Mister in the Color Purple. The movie was great too by the way.

Okay here I go 🤣 I’m an ancient fan who is the exact same age as Michael, in my late 20’s my babysitter/maid had been employed at Neverland ( also that’s how I knew he was innocent 😡)
My first memory was them singing ABC on I think it was the Ed Sullivan Show ( not sure if that was the show but it seems right) Also I saw him in a magazine called Tiger Beat for all his groupies. Fun times 😍
As far as Jafar goes? I heard his voice awhile back and was amazed at the similarities, now seeing his pics in this movie? Good grief, he’s his doppelganger!!!
