I went to the bad tour and hung with Michael a few times thanks to my mom . Awesome dude ! Real person nothing fake at all about this man he was one big child for sure! I don't think I'll ever in this lifetime meet a better human being all around .
I have to say, Michael had one of the best touring bands of any artist. You rarely see great concerts like this today. He really put his all into his performances and they were worth the wait every time.
I loved seeing both performances, but I gotta give it to bad tour as I just love how mj looks during that era, and how quicker Rock With You was performed. To me it’s just so much more energy and exciting, and the high note at the end being longer… it’s simply a great performance in my opinion
I love that period everything about entertainment was exciting, MJ 👑 was untouchable at that point💯👍.

I've seen both videos many times but couldn't take my eyes off Michael, I love to see Michael with his brothers in concert but bad tour performances are otherworldly, perfect in every way , the high note at the end was mind blowing, my most favorite is bad tour performance but I love victory tour so much as well, it's so hard to choose Michael songs or performances, Rock with you is one of my most favorite songs of all times, please do more reaction videos with Randall like this 🙏❤️👑🤟🦋🌻

Hey there guys! Great to see you back Randall! I'm such a huge fan, I don't like making comparisons, however I managed to see Michael on the Bad tour first leg right here in Australia and I had chills when he did Rock With You, the lead in with the foot hit and swivel the beat boxing and "I THINK I WANNA ROCK!" That song is timeless and a classic because you know Michael put his heart and soul into it and you can hear it in his voice, the way he delievers it. But the biggest chill of them all was the very end with that long high note "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:"! I will never live it down and I will never be the same after that. I love the Victory one as well yet with every tour Michael did, he took things up another notch, and was on another level each and every time and, of course, set the bar higher and higher.
It's just amazing how refined and precise his performance was in 1987, only three years after the Victory Tour. He clearly threw himself into perfecting perfection. Victory laid a foundation and I liked the sparkly costumes but the Bad Tour was the pinnacle of his artistic abilities. The live singing, the amazing dancing, the energy and above all his enthusiasm which in my view, declined in subsequent tours. I was fortunate to see all his solo tours!
Michael's smile, just wow, seeing him in his element, performing is incredible, I would love, to have been able to go to the Bad tour 🩷🌸

I liked both Victory tour and Yamaha in Japan. I think you should check out the Dinana Ross special with Michael Jackson & Quincy Jones when they did Eas On Down The Road and Michael dose Rock With You. That of the Dinana Ross Special aired like in 1980 the year that i was born.

EDIT: Michael Jackson is one of the strongest vocalists of all time. We all know he was an amazing entertainer but his vocal ability is highly underrated. He was top tier!

Yokohama 87 is his best show ever imo. His energy is unmatched. It's like he's about to fly off the ground. I remember watching it for the first time and how I was mesmerized.
Idk Dangerous 1992 at Wembley, Bucharest, Bad 88 Wembley, and History, 1996 Auckland, and 97 Munich all hit different. I forgot to add 93 Bad Mexico, and 96 Royal Brunei too.

I saw the Triumph and Victory tours live. Great memories ❤ I loved Michael with his brothers. I was pregnant during the Bad Tour so I made the decision not to go.
Im a huge MJ fan, and I was at the victory tour in Montreal. I prefer seing michael in this Era, on how he dress, how he looked, all that dope gear , and the fact that he’s there with all his brothers. This was a time where thriller blew up and he was on top of the world.
but no doubt the bad bad era was dope also . But I just prefer the 84 vibe. I hope one day we get to see the whole triumph tour in HD quality. I love that era also.

One of a kind period. All Mj is much more better than any artist ever so doesn't really matter hahah forever the king
MJ was absolutely phenomenal on both tours. His constant LIVE singing was top notch, and of course his athleticism on stage was the bomb. It's hard to decide because the Magic was present both times. Something about MJ's vocals on the Victory Tour had a serious kick to them. The same can be said about his dancing on the Bad Tour. Bottom line, MJ was a bad man.
Ultimately, the Bad Tour was bananas. Considering the combination of vocals, sheer physicality, energy/attitude, added choreography in the second leg, and the covering of territories in a two-year period, it's just awesome.

Glad to see Randall back on the channel. The transition to rock with you was so great. Loved the body and vocal percussion. Of the two performances, I think I prefer Bad. It's crazy to think that such an amazing performer could get even better. He seemed to be having so much fun in the Bad performance
Triumph tour was probably the best for songs like rock with you. Brand new solo music and he was so excited to perform them

I feel like people who know R&B DEFINITELY respect MJ as a soul singer. It's irrefutable. If we listen to the J5 between 1969-72, the foundation is clear. Michael himself was vocal about his heroes in his book as well. The brothers began performing in places like The Regal in Chicago and The Apollo in Harlem! They opened for Etta James and James Brown at one point! Michael said he'd stand in the wings and study James Brown. He sang Joe Tex songs in clubs as a child. Poppa Joe was in a blues band. The roots are clear. That's such a great conversation to have! Familiarity with MJ's identity is just as important as his success.

I definitely wish they had quality video for The Triumph tour. I saw them at the Providence Civic Center and a lot of the audio from the Live album was from that show. I wanted to see the Bad tour so much, but he didn’t come back to New England.
Y'all gotta react to Rock With You from the Triumph Tour. As far as tempo goes, I think that was the best live version. I think that's where the put it in the pocket ad lib started. But my favorite performance is from Bad Tour in Wembly 1988. Especially the very beginning of that performance. Wow
