Hello, I'm a more recent fan of MJ and I appreciate this breakdown of the ideal books for Michael, thank you! I also found the Wikipedia page to be really helpful in learning about him. I'm very excited to see his new film and post-humonous work. I love him so much, I just wish he was still around. 💔
Oh yes, in the 90's i was in high school, and during that time I was saving money to buy Dancing the Dream and the cover was different. What a wonderful book with nice poems and thoughts. Unfortunately i lost that book. And I just bought from Amazon. And now I appreciate in a different and better way 🙏
Love your channel and content. Most of the books you mentioned I own and they’re definitely good resources to learn more about Michael. Another book I would suggest is “In The Studio With Michael Jackson” by Bruce Swedien. He focuses on the recording engineer perspective, but it’s a good book. Wishing you continued success! Peace
Yes!! Loved the Dr. Pepper adds. David Naughton did the original commercial on TV 📺. Fun fact; David Naughton plays the character in "American Werewolf in London"...from 1981.😉❤
Michael Jackson INC has caught my attention. Would also like to see a Janet Jackson INC book as it would be interesting to see how there different approach to business both Janet and Michael Jackson where
You know what would be a great book? A tourbook containing all info from the J5 to this is it. With all concert tickets, posters, tourbooks, onstage photos, backstage photos, set lists, you name it. I would buy that RIGHT NOW!
I would absolutely love that! I’d definitely snatch it in a heartbeat lol I wish there were more books containing stuff like this and further analysis into his art than personal, as much as I love the personal ones.
Could I have some advice anyone? I’m a fairly new fan and was lost on what credible books to read so this was so helpful. I’m interested in “Remember the Time” and “My Friend Michael”. Are these credible books to read? I saw that Karen Faye commented that these books are also money grabs and I don’t know what to believe… Looks like you have a warm community here so hoping for insight:)
MY FRIEND MICHAEL WRITTEN BY FRANK CASCIO - Its so personal, and its amazing to see the perspective of one of his long time friends starting from when he [Frank] was only 5! and how that friendship turned into business collaboration and closest confidant when organizing personal affairs. He was very close in witnessing Michaels decent into pain medication addiction which is sad to read but i SERIOUSLY recommend this book to any MJ fan !!
Yes! I really recommend it. Cascio drama aside, wonderful book. Definitely an emotional book, especially towards the end. Some great stories though. I always love getting a personal glimpse in the life of Michael, just as a normal human.
A very good video ma'am, I recently purchased the kindle version of the book 'Michael Jackson: The man, The Madness, and The Whole story' which was written by his childhood friend J. Randy Taraborrelli. I believe it's also one of the best Michael Jackson books.
RT met Michael in the late 70's. They were no friends. This book is used unfortunately by too many as an accurate biography of Michael. I consider the private infos abt MJ as fictions ( either RT was the invisible friend in Michael's life all the time). Reg infos about the industry is ok. MJ was described from outside by too many through his professional persona. It's a circus. Joseph Vogel Man in the music and Earth song are my favorites, Moonwalk, Dancing the dream and Adrian Grant's book MJ a visual documentary.
@@duncanidaho8900 I read in an article that they met in the early days of the Jackson 5 when Randy was a kid journalist and they bonded and became friends, since that time, Randy had been taking notes of Michael's life and progress in his career thus, I got the book but I'll watch out for errors that could be there.
@@faheemwadud724 you can try find Michael Bush book The king of style. It can be found online. I liked Cascio book as well, but honestly, I do not comprehend the need of giving too much details about one,s life. Especially if this person was your friend. At least Frank was there, with Michael.
