With the biopic, I feel like it should be a trilogy because a lot happened in MJ's life. Also, I am crossing my fingers that Jafaar Jackson does this justice!!

Wylie Draper was the best MJ depiction we had. The success of this movie will be dependent on Jaafar's acting, not just his singing, dancing, and last name. I really hope they get an acting coach for him.

I only hope that the Netflix documentary won't minimize Michael's contribution being as he did 90% of the work... Excited about the biopic though!!! And you're right, Michael should still be here. I always feel kinda sad when new MJ-related stuff drops because it reminds me he's not with us anymore

I'm so happy that you talked about how they want to do the biopic right especially because Ray is like my number 1 biopic ever. There is nothing wrong with that film and that's what I use to grade other biopics that have come out because they just created such a masterpiece with Ray so I hope that Michael's biopic will live up to that standard for me. RIP Wylie Draper he did such an amazing job on The Jackson's An American Dream. I deem that to be one of the best tv movies/biopics to have come out. From what I've seen of Jaafar Jackson I am looking forward to seeing his performance and I am raising my expectations (rightfully so) for this film. I hope to grow more and more excited for the movie to come out. As far as the Netflix documentary Im looking forward to it coming out and my expectations are that it will be better than Thriller 40 :) I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year and Im so happy and honor to have found this community of MJ lovers!

I'm looking forward to the biopic, and I really think Jaafar will do Michael justice. I've heard that the movie is supposed to end in 1988, so perhaps around Wembley? I would love for them to do a sequel covering Michael's later years.
I hope not, so much of his struggles were after that and the later years is really his you learn about his strength.
1988? I hope not! If they want this movie taken seriously,acting like the allegations didn’t exist, is not going to do that. I believe in Michael Jackson’s innocence. There is too much out there that proves it and it would be a huge disservice for them to do that.
I really hope they don’t stop at 1988, because it’s a biopic meaning from his birth up to his death they should be covering within the film. That would be extremely disappointing suddenly stop at that point.
When I saw thriller 40, I was hoping to be like the Bad documentary because for Bad they laid it out really well and we also got more in depth info. Thriller 40 kinda felt like all over the place for me. but ngl I did start tearing up when they started showing Michaels audio recordings lol
MJ's son Prince read the first draft and cried, he was so happy about what he read. I have high hopes for the biopic. I hope I can be involved somehow .

It is crazy that Jafaar didn't even have to audition and probably didn't think about playing his uncle. Until the Director I forgot his name was watching Jafaar for 2 years while auditioning other people to play Michael and the family. And just seen the mannerisms of how much like Michael he was and it was probably just him doing his normal thing living life lol. I remember the director said it in an interview that I read. But I think that they are all alike in some way and they all especially look alike that you can tell that they are Jacksons.

I think This is amazing. It is so great to see something like this come out, especially with his nephew. Seen a couple of his performances, and it was great how his voice sounded and how his demeanor is to portray this role. If it was possible, I would love to be a part of this creation Broadway. I’ve never done any acting or anything publicly but I would have to be a part of it in some form of fashion. Ice dance for hours Michael and Janet music and everything like that. As a teenager. It is wonderful to see that you cover all of the information. I will definitely be following you.

Hi mj fan girl, great video, yes I'm so glad Jaafar is playing Michael on the biopic , he is family and he is an amazing singer song writer on his own, it makes me cry when I see this clip of Jaafar performing man in the mirror, so absolutely beautiful, also I went to LA this past week and visited my dream places ,Forest Lawn is bitter sweet and made me cry , Michael star on Hollywood boulevard, beautiful murals of off the wall and Michael 's eyes , beat it cafe ect, then I went to see mj the musical at pantages theater, it was beyond my expectations, truly amazing, by the way congratulations mj fan girl for 40k subscribers! @1:56 The strike may have delayed the release date. But that may have been a help rather then a hindrance. I would rather they take as much time as necessary than to rush for a deadline.

I remember when my dad took me and my sister too the Jackson 5 at radio city music hall I don’t remember to much of the concert because I was to young but I remember that they had white suits on.

Before the biopic was even announced, I was hoping that Jaafar would be doing a biopic about his Superstar uncle MJ. I'm glad to see his family is involved in the production of this movie, because I would like to see the truth about MJ and not truths mixed with lies, like so many biopics of entertainers that are done. Jafar looks good embodying his uncle, I think he's going to do a great job and the movie is going to be Mega Excellent. One thing I would like to see, is little things that we might not know or really haven't seen enough of about MJ and his musical thought process on making music. Where do you begin with MJ's life when making a movie about his life? MJ's life is so complicated, I agree with one of the fans commenting that they should do a trilogy series, each lasting 3-4 hrs. Looking forward to seeing the MJ Movie. Oh, by the way MJFANGIRL, I've been a MJ Admirer for over 50, plus years in the game! 😉👍
