Cheeseburger Pie
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1 lb. ground beef
1 med sized onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup cheddar cheese
Dash Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Cook ground beef & onion, drain. Stir in salt, garlic powder & Worcestershire sauce & pour into greased pie plate. Add cheese on top & set aside.
Mix together milk, eggs & Bisquick & pour over ground beef. Bake 30 minutes or until brown on top.

My husband is a chef (literally how we pay the bills haha) so he leaves trails behind him 😂 He’s so used to be too busy at work to worry about sprinkles of seasonings that he does it at home 😆
Really must be a male thing. My husband does the same with using everything and seasoning everything. Sometimes I think he is Bobby flay. And now my son does the same thing. Love them both but please...

Our cat who passed away almost exactly a year ago looked a lot like Gracie Lou except our cat was brown tabby colored.

If you do think about a shelter cat, maybe an older one who might not find a home. Ask who's been there longest, they end up being great pets because they're grateful

The best "dip" for quesadillas is some sour cream with a tablespoon of taco seasoning and a squirt of sriracha, it sounds like it would go good with these!

If you can find some caraway seeds and grind them up sprinkle just a little bit in with the rueben bowl seasonings it is awesome..

I have been making cheeseburger pie for many years. I make it exactly the same except I sprinkle 1/4 a packet of au jus in the ground beef. One of the few recipes that used before I was married and 20 years later still love it.

I’ve been making this for years. It’s one of our favorite quick meals. Impossible cheese burger pie.
I am a cupboard gal.lol. Great meal ideas. I make my own salsa using canned diced tomatoes with green chilies. Just drain tomatoes, add to 1 small diced onion, can of green chilies, 1 or 2 diced jalapeños, with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin and oregano. Pulse to the consistency you want. You can use canned jalapeños if you don’t have fresh. I always have all the ingredients on hand. Love you videos. Blessings
Ground beef naturally releases water during the cooking process. Draining it washes away all the flavor! If you let it sit a few minutes, it will evaporate. Then the pan meat will start to brown and sizzle. It taste sooo much better. It was scary to try this technique at first but I’m glad I did. If there is too much fat, I push the meat to one side, tilt the pan and use a paper towel to dab the fat out.
I knew I have heard of the cheeseburger pie before. My mom used to make it back when I was a kid. She added mix veggies pack to the pie. Well when your feeding 7 people had to make it stretch. On the Ruben, I would have also added sourkrut , look fabulous 😀 Thanks Mandy.

I use both "cupboard" and "cabinet" interchangeably. I like how cupboard sounds like cub-erd and nothing like cup-board.
Mandy I laughed aloud at you flipping the quesadilla. Just leave the folded side down in the pan and turn it over. You don’t been have to lift it out of the pan at all to toast the other side. I had to admit I laughed. But we will be trying all of these recipes. They look great.

My mom used to make a cheeseburger pie. It's was very similar to this one. She sometimes added mustard and small diced dill pickle. That was how I liked it.

I have a Cowboy Caviar recipe too that we love. Mine has lime juice and a few different things. That would be so good in a chicken quesadilla! Everything looked delicious!!

I make the cheeseburger pie all the time but I put thick slices of tomatoes on the top before I pour the Bisquick mixture on. Yummy.

Add a dollop of sour cream to the plate of quesadillas! Then you have Tex-Mex. Needed the corn and NO barbeque sauce!
Also, a Rueben usually has Sauerkraut instead of just cabbage. Real similar otherwise.

All of these meals look delicious! You asked about salsa in the video. We recently tried the pineapple salsa from Aldi for something different and really liked it. If you like lots of flavor, like we do, we paired the salsa with Late July organic sea salt and lime tortilla chips. The chips I bought at Publix or Wal-Mart.

I think southwest corn would have knocked those quesadillas out of the park!! And I’ve never ever had a Rueben sandwich or in a bowl. I’m not sure I would like corned beef. I haven’t the slightest idea what it even resembles. But I am going to try the sandwich next time I go to a sandwich shop where I can purchase maybe half of one. Thanks for sharing these recipes.

Made the cowboy quesadillas bc I just bought white wine vinegar for another recipe so I was super excited to try this! Omg its amazing, I made some homemade IP spanish rice to go with it, it came out just perfect!
