That french dip sandwich with the glazed carrots was calling my name. What a nice little surprise at the very end with Gracie. Thanks Mandy, I just love that little girl ❤
Love the sandwiches, one thing I do to the tomatoes is salt and pepper them before adding to the sandwich. It sounds weird but it's a noticeable difference
I felt Mandy's glee over how much Steven and Cole loved the last sandwich. There's no better feeling than making something our families LOVE, especially if it's better than the restaurant counterpart! 😁❤
Oh isn't that SO TRUE!? I don't know about u, but I sometimes say a prayer that they taste love too!? Nothing is sweeter than nourishing those we love! ❤

Not a true muffuletta sandwich, but still looks good. My favorite is from Central Grocery in the French Quarter. Best in New Orleans! Then beignets and cafe au lait for dessert....if you still have room, that is! Yum! Now I am homesick!
I have a sandwich for you Mandy. Rye bread, corned beef, sour kraut and swiss cheese grilled, then coat inside with 1000 island..Ruebins are my favorite sandwich!!
Being born and raised in South Louisiana I love muffuletta sandwiches minus the olives!!!! I also don’t like salami but will only eat it on these sandwiches. Nawlins (New Orleans) has the absolute best, I think. But girl you do you and make your version. It looked absolutely delicious. I would’ve tried it with the olives for sure❤
Mandy/Tater, I am a Brit married to an American living in New York. I often think I'll buy 1 American sandwich, take it home, deconstruct it and I can make British sandwiches for the whole week 😂 Hugs Kate in New York ❤
Hi Mandy. When I make a grilled sandwich I take the two slices and split them to put the matching inner sides down on the cutting board. I butter the outside sides, maybe add a little salt and pepper( but I like your garlic powder idea). Then flip the one slice on top of the other so the butter sides are together. Mayo on, toppings on and cheese to finish off( also to glue the other slice down. Place the top slice onto grill, top with other slice, no wasted butter on your cutting board. And yes that bread you used is so yummy! Makes any sandwich better 😊
Crescent Dough Sammich 2 cans Crescent Roll Dough Sliced Ham Sliced Cheese (your choice) Press one can of Crescent Roll Dough in a pan. Top with layer of cheese. Top the cheese with a layer (or two) of ham. Top ham with another layer of cheese. Roll out 2nd can of dough (I do this between wax paper). Remove one of the sheets of wax paper, flip over the bottom sheet of wax paper, so the dough is covering the other layers. Peel the wax paper off, leaving the dough. Press dough to cover. Brush with butter. Bake until golden brown. Let sit for a few minutes. Cut into squares and serve. I’m sure you can do a “Pizza” version using mozzarella, choice of meat and veggies and some Italian Seasoning. Brush the top with butter and seasoning, or garlic butter, and maybe some cheese! I might try a roast beef version, a Reuben version, BBQ version, a Philly Steak version, or a French Dip version. 🙆🏻♀️….Oh, the possibilities!!
I bought the muffalata last weekend to make your sandwich. With my boys, one sandwich wouldn't have been enough. With my youngest, I have to make 2 pounds of bacon in order to get some for myself...LOL
It's a toss up to which one to try first..the turkey and bacon melt or the French dip.🤔😋🙂 Mandy, I've been really enjoying that cozy coffee since your video.❤
Hi Mandy . Wow all the sandwiches you made look so yummy. I got to try it. Sending love and hugs to you and your family and to Gracie Lou. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤
Ooh ooh....a chopped Italian sub. You can do this with just about any sandwich, but it really makes a great Italian sub. Take all your ingredients; ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, mortadella, capicola, provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes, some Italian seasoning, and pepperoncini or mild pepper rings (optional). Salt and pepper to taste. Chop all of your ingredients together to a consistency of your choice. Add red wine vinegar and quality olive oil, and toss well. Take a good hoagie roll and put mayo, or the spread of your choice (optional). Fill the hoagie roll with your chopped ingredients and nosh away. Soooooo yummy.
I love French Dip. I make mine similar but I use Pepperinci Italian Jarred Peppers sliced into rings, a little of the pepper juice from the jar in the broth and a good sprinkle of Italian Seasonings. My hint: if you are rushed for time buy a pound of good deli sandwich beef and cook it on low on the stove until heated through. Nothing like a good sandwich.
I’m like you Mandy I think outside of the box when it comes to sandwiches I do sliders for lunch sometimes get to four pack of slider rolls and make ham and cheese, sliders or turkey and cheese sliders
Didn't it just break your heart to hear Mandy say "mmmm mmmm(no)" when Steven asked if there were any more muh-faux-letta sandwiches! Poor thing sounded just like Gracie Lou crying for Cheese. LOL! Love you guys!

I immediately added the ingredients for the hot honey mustard to my Instacart order. These all look delicious, but the hot honey mustard is calling my name.😂
Oh, man, I gotta make that grilled mufuletta sandwich for the family sometime. What a treat. We bought some cheap brand mufuletta, but by adding a bunch of chopped green olives, we got it tasting like it should. I think I'll need to make homemade bread for this sandwich. (My family can taste the love)
A day with Mandy and Gracie. Yes. The sandwiches look yummy. Heading to the store after my dental appointment to pick up what I don’t have. Thank you for bringing sunshine to my day. ❤❤
I'm making the French Dip Subs next week! I can't wait to try it! QUESTION?? When you freeze your pesto in the ice cubes, do you cover the ice cube trays with foil or just freeze it like you do ice? I want to do this with my leftover hot dog sauce b/c we always have a lot of hot dog sauce leftover.
I just pop it in the freezer to freeze it (no lid) and then once they are frozen (like a couple of hours later) I pop them out and put them in a freezer baggie. :)
Mandy!! So yesterday made your brown rice in my pressure cooker! Let me tell you! It turned out amazing!! I pressure cooked it for 2 minutes. Natural release for about 10 minutes!! It's s must try!!

Louisiana girl here and I’d eat that Muffuletta sandwich! My favorite sandwich is a Bullseye from a restaurant in Winslow, Maine. It's roast beef, shaved onion, lite cream cheese, and horseradish. So delicious. All of their food is made from scratch.
Wow, that sounds delish! I love horseradish too & would tame its powerful bite by adding cream cheese. Great suggestion, Alma! I'll see if I can recreate it!

Mandy have you ever tried baking your bacon? (say that 3 times fast).....it is so easy and turns out so good!
