Mandy, I live waaaaay out in the country so my pantry has to be stocked pretty much all the time (and the Lord has blessed us to allow that). I usually keep stocked on things to make chili, slow cooker pork & beans & rice, spaghetti, tacos, burgers & hot dogs, & homemade chicken noodle soup. I also make sure there’s always Mac & cheese & frozen chicken nuggets (my daughter’s favorite) and frozen pizzas for ‘no cook’ meals. (No, we don’t eat them raw, but they are pretty much heat-n-eat meals.). Additionally, we are NEVER without potatoes, in fact, it’s as necessary as toilet paper in our house! 😆😂🤣. You can do so much with potatoes. My mama always said, “As long as you have potatoes you’ll never go hungry.” By God’s sweet grace, we never have! 👆

If you sprinkle baking soda on meat and leave about 15 to 20 minutes, they will be tender (Asian trick). You then wash all of soda off and season and cook.

Hello Mandy, I used to work in a Store bakery. All of our products were 3 to 4 days code. Some products were 7 days. So A tip is to count the number of days forward to find out the freshest. Most breads are 3 to 4 days. So Today's date is Feb 2nd. The pull date is Feb 6th. So that's what you want to buy. Hope this helps. If your buying bread on the bread isle. The Store will have color tags for certain days. Like Tues load will be Blue. THURS load will be pink and Sunday load will be white. You just have to ask. They should be able to tell you. If not it might be posted somewhere. Keep in mind they do have outside vendors and they stock and load all if their products so they won't follow the same rule. Again hope this is helpful. Speghatti, Buritos/ tacos, a quick soup and Hamburgers are the dishes I keep on hand for a quick dinners

I use ground beef and chorizo, Rotel, onion and for the topping after cooking, I pour over melted white queso and top with cilantro. So delicious. One tip for the tomato paste you may already know but if you use the can opener and open both ends, you can push the paste all the way out so much easier.

I was thinking a brine would work well on those pork chops and tenderize too. Actually the only pork chops that come in my kitchen are on the bone just like we had them when my mom cooked them when I was a kid. Which isn’t why I want them that way. They are just better for frying and baking. I would pound mine out like y’all did though if they were boneless and I had no choice.
Your new apron is so pretty. I wouldn’t want to get it dirty! Was Mom trying to send you a message to wear an apron. I know my Mom was like that bc her era all wore aprons. They are really cuter now than they used to be. Enjoyed the video.

So, all I know is I gave them nearly $72 and don't know IF they're sending anything, nor WHEN. I don't even have an order number (I assumed they'd send an email, like everyone else does, so did not print the confirmation page). My go to pantry meal that I always have ingredients for is cheesy noodles and the bonus is it’s a one-pot meal. 1 pound of pasta, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can evaporated milk, 1 cup or more of sharp cheddar cheese grated. Make the pasta, cooking it to al dente, strain. Put the same pot back on the medium high burner, add the soup and milk, whisking till smooth. Bring it up to a simmer, add in the cheese, continuing to whisk until it’s melted and smooth. I usually add a pinch of salt and more than a pinch of pepper. Add the pasta into the pot, stir to coat with the sauce. Serve hot. Sometimes I add in chopped green onions or frozen peas before adding the pasta back. I have also made this, adding a can of drained, flaked tuna. This has the added bonus of being ready in under 15 minutes.

I usually make a homemade pizza, because almost anything can go on a pizza. I make a meat lovers pizza with tiny bits of meat leftovers from different meals that I have saved: pork chops, ground cooked breakfast sausage, cooked bacon, pepperoni, jalapeño peppers, sautéed baby portobello mushrooms ( sautéed in butter, Worcestershire sauce, little dash of wine, S&P), use some of my homemade marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and Mexican blend cheese. Sometimes it just might be a barbecue pizza using chicken or barbecued pork roast that seasoned with Cajun seasoning. A fresh corn & tomato pizza with pesto sauce, Parmesan & mozzarella cheese( I sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar over the tomatoes & corn to bring out the sweetness), but our favorite is Pepperoni sausage and mushrooms .

I am terrible at pantry challenges. I have always struggled with this concept. It's hard to do something different when my family is picky. Our go-to meals are tacos, spaghetti, or pancakes for dinner.😋

I pretty much always have pasta on hand and tomato sauce. It's quick and easy when I don't really feel like cooking or spending money on takeout

I make beef quesadillas. I always seem to have the ingredients on hand. My family of 6 (four kids ages 24, 21, 19, 17) big eaters, when home, love them.

I always have Hamburger, Ecrich Skinless Smoked Sausage, Bob Evans Spicy Sausage and chicken breast (my grocery sells them in a bag of 10) in my freezer. Pillsbury make biscuits in the refrigerator section. I keep them in the freezer, they are very good. I always have rice, noodles, pasta and stuffing in my pantry. Onions and potatoes in my bin. I use my imagination on what to make.

If you take the chops out 30 minutes or so before you flour them, it can help the meat to be softer

I have to tell you, I was watching your video while I was making dinner and I needed a side dish but didn’t know what to make. Then I realized I had green beans so I tried your green beans for the first time. They were delicious!! Thanks for the inspiration 😊

I just ordered a box of Wildgrain bread. We always eat sourdough, but find that many times it is so dry. I loved watching Steven take the middle out of his slice and eat it!
Looked wonderful. I can't wait to get my box!
I always have cabbage and onions, as well as some rope sausage. I very quick to prepare meal of sliced onions, cabbage and sausage, flavored with salt, pepper, chili flakes, cider vinegar and a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar is one of my go to meals.
Thanks for all you do. Always enjoy ya'lls antics (and recipes). My kitty was watching with me tonight and answered Gracie Lou when she meowed.

Praying for you Miss Alma. Be sure to keep drinking lots of liquids. Warm water with a slice of lemon or some hot camomile tea. My Granny put thyme leaves in a bowl of boiling water for us to breathe in. The old remedies are the best. Keep us posted. 💕🙏
