- Me and Frank Crowe spent August 13th trackside on the Pocahontas District. This was the best day I've ever had over there.

Thanks for watching!
I think these Videos are the best modern Railway Videos I've ever seen, and I really love your Commentary. It's so nice to see these Norfolk Southern Engines and Trains running through the beautiful Virginian Countryside. The Norfolk Southern is my favourite Railway.
I'm glad you enjoy them. Norfolk Southern's my favorite railroad too, hopefully I'll be working for them before too long. Thanks!
Mine as well!!
And "Levisa River Rail Productions" ROCKS, Big Time!!
I've been Wanting to ask you a question for quite awhile now and I've Finally Remembered!!
What is the significance of the Norfolk Southern Loco #8791
featured in the photo on your Home Page?? And what kind of History does it have, if you know??
Looks like a Locomotive from the 60s or maybe the 70s??
I appreciate that! 8791 was a 4,000 HP General Electric D9-40C built in 1995. It's been retired and rebuilt into an AC44C6M. Thanks for your comment, I apologize for not putting out much content anymore. Most of what I shoot is for Green Frog Productions now. I have a DVD available for purchase from them on the Elkhorn grade.
Great train video. 👍👍
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great job as always!! ☺✌Ty. Norfolk Southern Rocks!!
Still loving those videos Levisa River Rail Productions! Also I went to Williamson today and I saw 5 trains I saw NS 744, NS 236,NS 133,NS 217, and NS 218. I went by the ragland and delbarton mining complexes the ragland mine loaded a train yesterday but they was running coal and had quite a bit of coal in there stock pile. At the Delbarton mine every stacker was filled to the brim with coal. Thanks for reading this comment!
I know that you don't get on here very often, but if you do got a kinda dumb question for you, has NS switched to mid train DPU'S on the pocahontas division or they still running manned helpers? Very beautiful video you did a great job good luck with green frog.
Lee Jones I really appreciate it! I'm working on the first volume of my branchlines & coal mines series for them now. They still run manned pushers but have cut several off and run DPs on some trains now.
@@Pocaconductor22 ah thanks for the answer and anytime your videos are amazing
Lee Jones your very welcome. I'm glad you enjoy them. I'm without a laptop right now but I'll try to get back to posting occasionally when I get a new one.
@@Pocaconductor22 understandable I've been in your position, it just sucks UA-cam doesn't allow photo responses or I'd post my photos from the Pocahontas Division
Lee Jones add me on Facebook brother. Profile pictures me and Krissy.
10:41 217/218 are the train numbers.
215/216 are RatHole trains. Dispatchers usually try to run 201/202 right on their heels.
I realized I got my wires crossed on those a few days after I posted this lol. They renumbered 217/218 to 29C/28N right after I hired in 2021.
