@@movingtoboiseid Brady , I am a retired sales trainer and appreciate your unfilted ,honest style ! I have watched several of your videos and am thinking of moving to greater Boise in about a year from now . I will not waste your time before I am closer to a move....to much respect, because I've been in sales all of my life ! When you are looking for new construction and have a buyers advocate ,how does the buyers agent get paid ?I bet you don't get many prospects from Maui Hawaii ! Have a Blessed Day !

Awesome! It is up to the builder. Most builders around here love agents and pay our commission in the sale of the home. There are a few national builders that don’t or I have to fight them!
Hey I appreciate that but if you ever have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m more than happy to help. I know how big of a decision moving is. I’m happy to help even if you’re a year out. Part of my goal is not just to help with the home, but help with the move to Boise as well. And you are right! I have one active client from the islands right now! You would be the second.

Idaho native here, traffic isn't actually that bad if you know what times to drive in certain areas, the rush hours are comically bad, but an hour before or after and the roads will be clear to travel no matter where you are, learning when to use side streets instead of the highway is also a big factor, sometimes the easiest route that takes half the time is twice as long, its all about knowing what roads are available, the biggest problem is people who don't know which pedal is their break or gas, they are always driving way too slow or trying to speed through a light, just match the rest of traffic and you'll be surprised by how much more easily traffic flows

As locals with offices in the Boise area and Idaho Falls, we agree. Meridian has the worst traffic. And the morning commute Eastbound and evening commute Westbound can take a long time. If someone plans on moving to a suburb like Star or Eagle they will also need to keep in mind the river crossings. With the only options being Eagle road or Glenwood, an accident or traffic can really jam up your trip. Especially if you are going to the airport. Eagle, Star and Garden City still take like 30-45 min to get to the airport most days.

I have lived in Colorado my entire 50 years and Boise reminds me of what Denver was in the 80’s. Unfortunately, Denver has become a big city and has many of the problems that big cities do

Really good video. You did a great job describing the area as it currently is and that will help people make a more informed decision. Idaho is not a place to live if you don’t have a good income. Thank you, Brady.

We tried to escape from Oregon to Caldwell. It was way more $$$ than Oregon, and the traffic is insanely bad to get to and from Boise. We also weren’t fans of the high-desert look. I like forests.
