@@DolceVitaChannel Actually, the correct answer would be Alfredo Di Lelio, who is actually the one who came up with Fettucine Alfredo. Fettuccine Alfredo IS the correct name for the dish, which is a variation of Fettucine Al Burro known as Fettucine Al Triplo Burro. It was a special version that he made in 1907 to encourage his wife to eat after having a child. He made it in his mothers restaurant is Piazza Rosa. It is absolutely an Italian dish. Maybe the ones who laugh just don’t actually know about it.
