Yay I'm so excited! $13.99 is a super affordable price. I'm not sure if I'll play early access or not but we'll see. I lately haven't been playing early access games because I end up getting burnt out of the game before full release and miss a lot of the content. But I'm really looking forward to this one so we'll see.
I absolutely love how the 16-bit era of video games are making a resurgence. Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis and Turbografx-16 were my favorite colsoles, and games like this bring back good memories. As I'm sure they do for alot of people.

Is there a typical time frame for early access > consoles? Specifically Switch? I don’t have a pc for gaming but I’ve really been looking forward to this.
Well, if it enters early in August and will spend a year in early access, then 1.0 will be releasing in August 2025… which by that time we will probably have the Switch successor. Every game is different. Coral Island did EA and launched on consoles when 1.0 was released. I’d say most other games though launch a few months after the launch of 1.0, so I’d say probably late 2025.
This looks so fun! It might be my first early access for the lower price, though I'm low-key tempted to wait longer to see if it would come to switch later because I'm a sucker for physical copies
I've been following the progress since the beginning and it looks promising, the devs are great, and I'm really excitted with the aesthetics and a lot of love was obviously put into it. This isn't what most early access' are. They genuinely want feedback to make it better. it already looks so polished.
If they want player feedback, I wonder if they’ll create a Discord server for the game like other indie studios have like the creators of Coral Island, Palia, and the My Time games. But yeah I’ve been saving money on my stream account for this very game. Definitely a Day 1 buyer lol. This also is my most anticipated game this year. Was so shocked to see this announcement on Twitter. Thought the date might get announced next month at the Wholesome direct lol.

Seems a little cheap for what I'm hoping for. Makes me think it won't be super fleshed out by release. Fingers crossed that's not the case! The chatacter and world art is so good it would be a shame if they weren't given lots of love.

one thing im wondering about is why it is so cheap. I once asked my boyfriend this question for the developer of stardew valley, who worked years over years all alone on his game and sold it so cheap. He said "Well he's selling a finished game, he does't have to pay any coworkers etc.". But here in this game, its a cheap price even tho there are a few more people working on it + they still have to work on it at least one more year, that means people need to get payed one more year too. I mean i guess its "only" a pixel art game and no reused triple A game, but still, these people work on a game, do the same job and the same workhours. I think it's sad that we've reached tims where litle studios can only offer their game to minimum prizes, even tho they work longer and harder on it then some big gaming companies who just reuse all their models, animations and textures for their next game release like in FIFA, what the hell is this crap? I hope there will be some more ways to support the studio, because if there was any founding for the game, i didn't had the chance to donate something back then. I would like to support these people more, just like with the people that made roots of pacha, where you could by teh soundtrack to give some support. Anyways, sorry for my little rant, thank you for the infromation in this video, im very hyped for the game!
They DID say that this is the early access price… when 1.0 is released, the price may increase. I also think that the price is a bit lower than I expected though. I thought it would be at least 19.99… but look at us, complaining because something is too cheap, haha. I guess we will know how complete the game is soon.

I just found about this and am super excited, as a massive fan of Story of Seasons/OG Harvest Moon & Rune Factory, as well as someone who enjoyed Stardew Valley! It might be the first game I'll play in early access. Does anyone know if the game ends after the first year? Or if the romance options are going to have set orientations or be playersexual? I hope we're able to wear any of the clothing options that we'd like, regardless of our character's gender. This looks very promising :)
The romanceable characters will all be dateable regardless of the gender of the farmer, but yeah, we don’t know yet if they will have gender specific dialogue or not (like in Stardew how some characters have extra dialogue if you are the same gender). I’m also curious if the outfits are gender neutral or not! I hope so.

I might pick it up day 1 just because the price of 14 bucks isn't very bad but actually playing it when there isn't a ton of heart events in the game right now does make me think, ehh maybe i'll just wait to play it. I also want to know like if I can be polyamorous in the game, how that side of things works because I really love a lot of the marriage candidates and I don't want to chose. I do think a yes or no decides how quickly a jump in cuz that would expand the amount of heart events I could see in a run without having to start from the start.

Yeah, I’m also surprised that it’s only 13.99! They did mention that the price could increase at 1.0, so it’s nice early adapters will get it cheaper.
